Five big stars for Carl. I found him online. I needed him to come to my home in Brooklyn on a Sunday, same day service. Even though I was an hour away, he said sure and set an approximate time. His fee was reasonable. I had ten documents to notarize. Due to another customer, he was running a bit late but he kept me updated about his timing and made sure it was OK with me (which it was). He came, was extremely courteous and friendly,, reviewed the documents and notarized. All very efficient. Much appreciated.

What a find! An absolutely indispensable service for NYC, providing the ultimate in responsiveness, service, and value. Though notary services are available for free or nearly free at many banks and UPS stores (as Carl is sure to make clear), sometimes you really do urgently need short-notice/last-minute notarization, and would happily go to extremes of expense and inconvenience to get it. In my own case, I needed to file legal papers before midnight, which weren't ready until all our local notaries had closed. Competing mobile services -- many of whom were clearly just middlemen for local notaries -- charged three times as much, and demanded an 8-hour lead time. Carl, on the other hand, answered my call immediately, and was super-helpful and friendly, assuring me he could get to me within a couple of hours. He arrived exactly on-time, fully prepared, and got me all set within minutes. C New York City Mobile Notary Services literally saved the day for me. They've now got a permanent place in my contact list, and I'll be calling them for all my emergency notary needs.
