I used to love this post office; the guys who worked there were always friendly and helpful. But they changed management/ownership a few years ago and when I went in to drop off a return after the change of staff, the women turned the computer screen at me and told me to enter all the shipping information! That shouldn't have been needed as my package was just a drop off. I haven't been back since.

A friend had to send me a package overnight which was really important that I get the next day. They charged her $50.00 for the "next day" service, the US Post Office does it for $25!!! (my friend didnt know and she didnt call me before she did this) and I do not have the package and not only that...they didn't even provide a tracking number so we can track the package. They just gave her a reciept for the money that she paid but no tracking number for the package. UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! There is no telling where the package is which has my information. Plus it couldve been shipped ground since they put the package in a plain yellow envelope and not in a next day envelope! I am beyond pissed. I will be calling them on Monday and she may have to seek further action since they ripped her off! Do not go here for your shipping needs!

I called with a question about box prices and was told UPS boxes were free. I go to the store, the man told me I needed a $27 box. I told him I was told UPS boxes were free, he said “Oh let me see if we have any... nope”. Absolutely miserable. I’ll never be back.

If you're smart, you won't go here for services. They are unprofessional, rude, liars, and will rip you off. Let me tell you a ridiculous situation that happened to me so that you don't have the same situation. I went in to place an overnight shipping of important papers to get my certificate as a Pharmacy Technician. I went in on a Thursday night and paid 49.35 in overnight shipping charges via FedEx. However, the item arrived 5 days later, on Monday. I called Fedex thinking to get an adjustment or return credit, I'd have to go through them. However, because I paid in this store's location, I had to go here to get my return. So I call them to discuss it with them and they tell me because it shipped they can't help me. So I asked for a manager and the information for their district manager, and they hung up on me. So then after work I head into the store about 5ishpm. They close at 6 so I figure this should be quick. However, the man who assisted me, the supposed "owner' named Md Nizam Uddin; who when I asked for his name he only told me MD. Anyway, He said the return would take a while so I said fine and asked for the name of the associate who hung up on me and the name of the owner. He refused to give me the information so i said I was't going to leave until he gave me a name. He then called an officer down to try and settle the matter by getting me out of the store. He told the officer I was being loud and rude and other whatnots and then the officer asked me for my side which I told him and told him I also have a recording of the situation as well just in case. The officer understood my side that they indeed were wrong and managed to get me the name and business card of this manager and I was told in a couple days I should have my return. It shouldn't have come down to this, guys. I work customer service, and for 10years at that. There is no reason this had to happen. He should have apologized and credited me the difference of a 5 day shipping instead of the overnight charge and it should have been settled in no more than half an hour. For the record, the officer didn't seem pleased or surprised that he had to come to this location so i assume this was not his first time having to come deal with some drama from this Postal Service location.

I was uncertain about using the Milford Postal Center because of the bad reviews but went with them anyway because of their mail forwarding service. I had many heavy and large items shipped there and they were always ready and waiting to help carry them to my car and load them and super nice about it. When I've been out of town their mail forwarding service has been exceptional, going above and beyond in getting an important document to me asap. It's been a year now and I'm a very happy customer.

An employee never scanned my prepaid label into the system or scanned the wrong one and have been dealing with a 200$ customer service battle for over 2weeks for a "lost" package.

Rude staff. I came here to pick up money from Western Union. They had a sign on the computer that said Western Union cash only. The woman sat on her phone and watched me fill out a Western Union form and waited until I got to the counter to tell me the computer was down. When I explained to her the sign was misleading, she gave me a really rude attitude. So I gave it right back to her. She needs to go back to whatever country she came from before she starts giving Americans a hard time. I will now tell all of my friends and family never to come to this place. She was such a rude *****! Furthermore, I will be reporting her to her boss.

The people that work here could not be any more lazy, unhelpful, and miserable. It is almost like they go out of their way to be as difficult and unhelpful as possible. They will ignore you when you walk in, make you wait until they finish their personal conversations with each other, then act like they are doing you a big favor by actually acknowledging your presence in the store. I have given them a few tries to see if the experience would be any different and it was not. Just like all of the rest of reviews on here indicate they are absolutely terrible.

I have used this center for years, but today will be my last time. I went in to mail a package on Monday, spent extra for priority to have my package arrive in Alaska in 2 days. On Wednesday my mail woman delivered my package back to my home mailbox because there was no postage put on my package. I went back in to the center and gave the package back to the gentleman behind the counter. He couldn’t understand how it happened. He re labeled the package and said all set. I was like, no I am not all set! I paid extra for 2 day delivery and it didn’t happen, can’t you do anything for me, maybe reimburse me for the inconvenience? Sure I can give you your money back, but then I won’t ship your package. Really? Poor customer service. I will never ship with them. Back to the post office. It is cheaper, just a little less convenient,

They take your money and don't even send your mail out, instead they have it sent back to you...very rude cold hearted and unprofessional staff as everyone else says. my 2 year old got sick in the store and i had to change her clothes, when i came back to grab the clothes after changing her in the car, her clothes were gone. (this took literally about 2 min as i just slipped another little dress on her) i asked them where her dress had gone, the younger man told me he threw it in the dump, you left". I said I didn't leave I had to change my daughter she threw up. He repeated that I left and its in the dump. I said "that is my child's property please get it" he scoffed at me and told me to pick it up in the back, as the older man mumbled under his breath in angry words "we should have shredded it". WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.... My child is 2. what gives you the right to be so nasty to a little girl who can barely speak sentences yet?! HORRIBLE disgusting people who can't even do their jobs anyways. Oh yeah and I'd also like to know how someone whos youtube profile says he lives in Georgia,(Zach knowles below me) can make any comments about this place in Milford New Hampshire. He looks an awful lot like that younger man that threw my daughter's clothes out.

On Friday, when people need to get mail out before the weekend they close early. I got here at 550pm and their lights were off and door locked. They just stood inside the glass and looked at me...i am adjust my stars down to 1 after I come back tomorrow morning.

I agree that their employees have not been very friendly over the years, but they do a decent job. I wish they were friendly, kind people who looked me in the eye (sigh) but at least they have the products you need...and are open with the Post Office is closed. There is a new guy there this week (March 2018) who actually is friendly and nice! Amazing! He had the decency to offer me a FREE piece of tape (which NOBODY has ever offered before) and chuckle at my jokes. Huray! Lets hope he lasts.

Friendly staff and great service! A lot closer than USPS. Hours of the center use to be horrible but now they've stepped up and have become amazing! I don't ever remember having problems with the staff or service.

Wish I could leave a negative star! Went in to ship a package and get a document notarized. They tried to charge $15 for notary! State law says they can only charge $1.25 per signature!!! I will be reporting them. Now I question if I was ripped off on the shipping fees too.
