I bought a car in Pennsylvania on June 15, 2018. I needed the new car registered in WV and the task was outsourced to Tag and Title Service of Maryland. By August 10, I hadn't received my WV registration and my temp plates were due to expire August 12. I had been in touch with the dealership several times who referred me to the contact information of Tag and Title Service of Maryland, the service to which they usually outsource the task of transfer of registration. Beth was very responsive and assured me my registration would be overnight shipped to me when our conversation ended. I've had a total of probably 8 phone exchanges with Beth since then. Each time, I'm told whatever issue is holding up my permanent registration has been resolved and I'll receive my registration within the week. At this point, my temporary registration has been expired for almost a month and I am still without a permanent WV registration for my new car. Tag and Title Service of Maryland has all the paperwork I'd need to take care of the issue myself at the WV DMV. The company has offered to provide me with a letter in the event I'm ticketed to explain the situation, which I appreciate, but I'd prefer my legal registration or the legal documents required to take care of it myself. My issue with the service the fact that this is something I've had to follow up on even though I paid for it to be taken care of when I bought the car. I've been told something different every time, ending the conversation with "but it's on it's way and you'll get it this week"-- I am still without my registration. I understand that some of the breakdown in the process isn't the fault of Tag and Title Service of Maryland, but I have had a poor experience with the service that remains unresolved. I'm not sure how it has remained unresolved a month past the expiration of my temporary registration. Beth is great at offering a customer service answer, but I've not had a solution to a problem that's been ongoing since June. 1 star for Beth's good customer service voice and responses. -4 stars for the fact that I'm driving an unregistered new car around. *edits were for grammatical errors update: Monday, September 10: still no registration Update: Friday, September 14: Earlier in the week I called my aunt who works for the WV DMV and she told me my registration was en route to my permanent address (not the mailing address I was told by Tag and Title Service of Maryland I'd have the registration overnighted to). Anyways, the registration is now in the possession of my parents. My temporary registration expired 1 month and 2 days ago.

I'd been dreading going to the MVA to register my car since (I assumed) it was going to be difficult to register. The car had out of state plates and was technically registered to my father even though I had paid for it. I found Tag and Title Service of Maryland on Google and figured what could it hurt? I actually had to cancel my first appointment with Beth but she was flexible and rescheduled to meet me a couple of days later. I got there and immediately felt comfortable. Within fifteen minutes, I had the car registered and plates in my hand - that would have never happened at the MVA. Beth even contacted my auto loan company on my behalf to verify information so that I didn't have to. The whole process was painless and I'm happy to recommend her services to anyone in the future. She really knows what to do and does it very efficiently. I was able to do my car inspection, transfer title, get my car tags, and even get everything ready for my MVA visit within hours. You know how they say nothing in life is easy? Well my experience with Beth and Tag and Title Service of Maryland was crazy easy!! I had just bought a new (used) car and wanted to drive it but no time to go to the MVA. I called TTSofMD left a message (at 7:00 at night) and Beth called me right back. I had such a great experience with these folks. I walked in on a Saturday, looking to switch over the title for my mobile home. Due the age of the home and some conflicting information on the title this was not going to be an easy task. No fear though... Martha vowed to personally walk my title into the MVA. She took the time to explain all of the possible outcomes, to get the proper title filed correctly. Now I must say this was the difference of paying close to $500 in tax, since the vehicle was listed as a "trailer" on the title instead of "mobile home". Martha called me with the best news the following Monday. Not only did she get the title filed correctly, but she had the MVA mail me the new copy within 7 days. Awesome work and the best customer service ever! It was such a blessing to meet these folks and I'll be doing all of my tag and title services through them moving forward!!

What a great experience. Painless, quick and professional. I called in the morning for a quote on titling my new car and she gave me a break down of all the charges so that I knew what I was paying for. Her prices were cheaper than other places Ive called. I immediately setup an appointment which I've never done before at a titling place, but it was great because there was no lines. As soon as I walked in there she had all of the paperwork ready. I would highly recommend this place. She's very professional and courtesy from the moment she picks up the phone all the way through processing your paperwork. You don't find that at many places now. Her workflow from beginning to end is well organized and she has a good system to get you in and out enjoying your new car.

Open 24 hours! When I saw this I thought there had to be a mistake but it is true. Albeit for some of the more uncommon hours you need to call ahead and schedule a time, the overall convenience is truly unmatched. As with most complicated MVA matters it would have been a nightmare to actually get sorted out at the MVA. This is the point where Beth comes to your rescue. Upon my initial phone conversation Beth was knowledgable, friendly, and took the time to explain what needed to happen. For my particular dilemma everything was handled over the phone apart from dropping off a form after what most normal business would consider open hours. Even payment was completed over the phone. The service provided far exceeded the amount charged. If you want excellent service that takes all the agrivation of the MVA and replaces it with fast and courteous results you have found your haven. This place has high standing in my book and I am sure if you try this service you will not be disappointed.
