I went in to get my boat registered, and to get a temporary registration. The woman I worked with obviously had no idea what she was doing. She also had the nerve to answer TWO personal calls while in the middle of working with me. How do I know they were personal calls? Well I don't think a BBQ Birthday Party had anything to do with a Notary Service... very frustrating experience... took much longer than it needed to, was ignored while she was on the phone, and paid too much for what I got. I understand that I should have investigated the fees before paying, but I ended up paying $75 for an $18 boat registration which is ridiculous. I'm never going back, and I highly suggest you find somewhere else to go too

Visited Runkles on 4/22/17 to transfer the title for an ATV. Emma was terrific- answered all my questions and completed the transfer very quickly. She was courteous, professional and humorous all at the same time. The facility itself is large, with a surprisingly high number of employees for a Saturday- I was prepared for a long wait. But Runkles know that most folks can't come in during the week, so they have at least 10 personnel (and probably more that I didn't see) helping people. I highly recommend them and my family will be going to them for all our PennDOT needs.

York branch is terribly unprofessional!!! They turned away customers after waiting 30 minutes to complete a transaction and traveling over an hour and a half. The manager, Ms KING was extremely rude and refused to help with the notarization process, they made a simple transfer a tiresome situation. If you want to be treated with no regard and deal with unkind staff, this is the place!

They sell your information... I bought a car added it to my current policy, never even googled anything about insurance and for the next 3 days I probably received 15-40 calls a day from insurance agents replying to my quote inquiries?? Ask them exactly why they need your phone number and then tell them you don't have one..lol

open til 7 pm, not true! As a customer in need, walking into this office after 6:30 is dangerous. The services claimed to be available as advertised are severely limited to quick paperwork, good luck with a title transfer and tag. All but one Customer Service representative was shouting out only what they wanted to complete, not what I as a customer needed which should have taken 15 - 20 minutes. . As a consumer there are many other Tag & Titles offices that want business and make a customer feel welcomed. I would not have come in had I not needed the service you claim to provide until 7pm. Sorry my transaction included people that work until 6. You have the right idea

Luz and coworkers were fantastic, after going through a rough time getting my license switched over at Penndot, I got there a little before closing to register my new vehicle. Unfortunately I had to also transfer my insurance over as well, which basically means starting a new policy over by scratch, which takes time. It was after they were closed that the fax came in with my new policy and everyone helped out so I was able to get my car on the road. Thanks guys for making it happen, you made my weekend!! Much appreciated!!

Wanted to get this review done now before I forget since Luz really deserves positive feedback. I walked in a few hours ago to replace a stolen plate. Luz was able to replace it in a timely manner and she is very energetic and hilarious. She had me laughing the entire time. Hopefully if I need to stop by here again, I'm dealing with Luz again. She definitely deserves those tickets to Hershey Park.

But today I had a question and knew they were probably the only tag and title place open so I reluctantly called with my question, I got a very nice women named Jenny who really took here time with me and answered several questions regarding the cost to register my commercial step van. It was such great service I had to change this review to a 5 star! This location needs more Jenny and less Lisa! Great Job I'm a customer again!

I've recently retired from the military, and was trying to transfer my license from TX (my last duty station) to PA. Not only did they give me an incredibly convoluted process to follow in order to complete this transfer, they started to cop an attitude with me when I began to tell them that, according to the research I had done on PennDOT rules, that they didn't need the amount of paperwork they were asking for. I will never return here, and I suggest you do the same. The people at the Queen St. location have now helped me out and I'm finished. Lines are a bit longer, but sometimes that's a good indicator of business quality.

Chiffon was sooooooo helpful!!! She was patient and kind. She made sure the job was done correctly, and was so sweet the whole way through!!! People are generally irritated and nasty when they come in here, and the entire staff really seemed in good spirits and treated each customer with respect, even if they didn't deserve it. Chiffon has helped me twice now and my experience both times was pleasant. I highly recommend Runkles and especially Chiffon!
