I am the owner of a firearms training company which allowed AFS to come to one of our classes. They came extremely unprepared, took entirely too long to conduct the printing services, many of our clients experienced issues with the livescan prints with Maryland and come to find out they weren't qualified to provide the ink fingerprinting that they provided as many of the applications were kicked by by various states. When students would contact Otto Troxler to resolve their issues with his services, he would direct them to me for whatever reason. We have obviously since moved onto much more professional and competent fingerprint service companies. We hope anyone ready this won't make the same mistake we made.

I have never waited more than 15 minutes and the process has always been professional and speedy. I've used fingerprinting services across the country, and of them all this company has been the best. I had my fingerprints taken yesterday; the person helping me was Marie. She was very nice and polite, but what amazed me was the her speed and efficacy. Also, It took her 5 seconds to figure out the weird code for my home country, whilst it took >30 minutes when I did it in DC a few years ago. If only every working person was this quick and efficient...I HIGHLY recommend this business!

I had a terrible experience with AFS Fingerprinting specifically Otto. The did the fingerprints for myself and some co-workers. They instructed us they would send us a receipt for there services, and they never did. I emailed and called them many of times to try and retrieve it, but no one was willing to help. This went on for over 30 days until my LIVE SCAN expired and I was not able to use it as necessary to apply for my Handgun Qualification License. I would never have my fingerprinting services conducted here again nor would I suggest them to a friend.

Will never go back there again..... Beware!!!! Apart from the guy that answers the phone everyone else NO MANNERS ESPECIALLY OTTO. He wants to has the last word ALWAYS

Very efficient and friendly service. I had checked online for other fingerprinting services for cards that needed to be completed for a job I am applying for and found very quickly that a lot of websites were difficult to navigate or gave incomplete information. Some sites had hours information but nothing about holiday hours (this was memorial day weekend) others had hours but did not include pricing information. American fingerprinting services had up-to-date information for each day of the holiday weekend and included clear amounts for pricing. Upon arrival, just like how it stated on the website, I called the number provided and someone came down to let me and a few others in. Once inside each person took about ten minutes to get thru which was great. On top of that the owner of the place was professional and helpful. Plus, you can do fingerprint cards without any messy ink (they just print them out). Would definitely go again and also recommend highly for those people who don't have time during the workweek to go get fingerprints done. Thanks!

Went to have my I9 form notarized for a remote position. I called ahead to ask if they sign and notarized I9 forms. The receptionist said yes. I brought my form and documentation with me and the notary filled out the employer's own form, but not the I9. I didn't realize this until I got home and called back. She said she would fix it for me so I went back, but when I got there, she outright refused to sign it after saying she would. We actually argued, but she didn't budge. I sent an email to AFS and a few hours later, that same notary called me to argue about the email?!?! This was an incredibly frustrating and insulting experience. Her calling me after I sent a complaint to continue the argument shows extreme unprofessionalism and lack of self-restraint. She even told me to write a google review if I was that upset. This experience was a huge waste of time. EDIT: If it was illegal, then I shouldn't have been charged or asked to come back.

Very rude and unprofessional. I called to get information for a Notary and someone picked up the phone. When I asked for pricing he said “one moment” then it went straight to their company’s voicemail message. I called a total of 3 times and the same thing happened. It’s like they keep hanging up on me.

Horrible customer service. Today I arrived at 4:39pm and was immediately asked by the receptionist, "What are you here for?" (No "hello" or "good afternoon). When I responded that I was there for fingerprinting, he told me that they were closed for the day, despite it only being 4:39pm, since 6 people were waiting to be processed. No apology or "sorry". Very rude.

Our prints were deleted because payment not received, although we called dozens of times and left numerous messages trying to pay. By the time we finally reached someone who could accept our payment details, a week later, the prints had been deleted. Awful experience.

I used them before and they were great, I called today twice to ask a question to make they are providing the service I need for my clients so I dont waste anybody's time and the Receptionist was so rude, like why do I have talk to you, transfer me to a automatic message that would not answer my question, I decided to go with another service because clearly they dont want/need more business. I meet the owner and he is very nice, I used send a lot clients there but no more with that attitude of that receptionist .

I needed fingerprints for my professional license and while other companies asked me to make appointments many days in advance, I just stopped by during the walk in hours.
