A couple of years ago, Goin' Postal mailed my son's downhill mountain bike to Colorado. I bought insurance through Goin' Postal. The bike was valued at approximately $2500. It had over $330 worth of damage done to it and was unusable. I ended up having to fly out to Colorado get the bike fixed and bring the receipt to Goin' Postal, as I was told. Then I got the run around from Goin' Postal who wouldn't return my calls, I had to drive to Auburn to get them to talk to me. I brought the receipt for the repairs to them as they asked. After the third trip to resolve this, then was told to bring it to FedEX! FedEx wouldn't return my calls. They didn't care about the receipt for repairs. They refused to do anything about this unless we could produce the mangled box it arrived in. The driver knew the box was mangled. In the end, with at least three trips into Auburn to Goin' Postal and having to fly to Colorado, I could have brought the bike on the flight with me for a measly $50. It cost me over $600 between the shipping, the repair, gasoline. Of course my flight and vehicle rental was icing. The insurance was never paid. In the end, I could have bought him a brand new bike for what I ended up spending! Had Goin' Postal been direct with me on day one, I would have saved a lot of money. Don't bother buying insurance and go somewhere that has more integrity.

Nola is the best! She’s so helpful and a great source of information about packing and shipping. Goin’ Postal is open until 530 in case you miss the closing time at the post office/UPS/Fed-Ex. I’ve also used her services as a notary many times without a problem.

I went to mail some Christmas wreaths there and the first one she told me was going to cost $42 to ship. I have shipped them in years past and I know I didn't even pay half that so I put them back in the car and drove over to staples. The very same package they were able to ship for $16. I know these type places have a mark up on their shipping but that is crazy.

I have been a Goin Postal customer for many many years. Nola is excellent and very knowledgeable about all things shipping and receiving. If you are shipping with her you can have confidence that she will pack your parcel protectively and offer you the appropriate insurance. I have a mailbox there and it is so convenient for someone who lives in a multi-unit apartment to have peace of mind that their parcels are cared for. 5 Stars for Nola's Auburn Maine Goin Postal.

I have been using Going Postal for all of my shipping needs. And to fax papers to other businesses. Nola has great customer service. If I hear anyone say "I need to go to the post office to ship...." I stop them and give them the address of Going Postal.
