So happy to find an OMV opened on a Saturday but the employee's ugly attitude sure did reflect her distaste for working on a weekend. In response to yours: Oh, contrare. Name is Mrs. Melanie Guidry and the lady assisting me was remarkably short with me and gave me a look of disgust when I asked to retake my renewed DL picture. Personally, she may not have been irritated about working on a Saturday, perhaps it was something else, but I assure you, it wasn't because I was being impossible not rude because I was being very polite.

I went there with a friend to have something notarized and as we walked away my friend commented how the old woman wasn't very pleasant. I told him I've had quite a few things notarized there and she's always like that. Always looks like she's mad at the world. She once initially refused to notarize a translation of something because she didn't speak the language. I had to explain to her that she wasn't claiming to understand the language, but that she was simply witnessing my sworn affidavit that it was a true and accurate translation. She did notarize it (with an attitude) after I explained it to her. The only redeeming quality is it's so close to home and the cost is $15 per page, which is cheaper than other notaries in Baton Rouge. If you go there expecting to be greeted with abrasiveness you might be pleasantly surprised.
