I contacted Amy from KSMO Mobile Notary to ask if she would be able to come to my residence on Sunday morning to provide a mobile notary service for a vehicle being delivered from out of state. We exchanged numerous texts throughout the week and she agreed to be available Sunday morning at 8 AM and stated her fee was $50. At 1:35 AM Sunday morning....yes 1:35 AM....she drunk texted me multiple times stating that she now wanted $100 since it was "definitely" outside normal business hours. She even went as far as to ask "what kind of car is this anyways???". I elected not to be strong-armed mafia style 6 hours prior to when I needed her and told her via text to have a nice day...a polite way of saying go F yourself. If you elect to use her service....BEWARE!!!!
** Update: Amy's response is hilarious! She states that:
"First off, regardless of the time, I wanted you to know in advance that I was not going to do the job for $50 as agreed, I wanted $100 for 8 a.m. on a Sunday and I have a right to counter our agreement before I arrive. I gave you 7 hours notice."
Huh??? Regardless of the time??? Ladies and gentlemen she drunk texted me 5 times at 1:35AM on a Sunday morning wanting more money!!! She promised the entire week prior that FOR FIFTY DOLLARS she would be a mobile notary at my residence for a vehicle delivery from California at 8:00 AM that very morning!! She is correct in one aspect.....she did give me almost "7 hours notice" to find a replacement. We all know it's very easy to find a replacement mobile notary at 2 AM on a Sunday morning after she "counters our agreement before I arrive".
Wow. Just wow. Take your business elsewhere!!!!! PLEASE!!!!
