This so-called notary place is dishonest for sure, if at all legal. I was referred to this notary by the Secretary of State office for notary certifications. The notary person with what sounded like an Indian accent wanted to charge me $25 for each single-page-single-signature notary. As soon as I said, "Thanks, but forget about it.", the guy said he could do it for no less than $10 for each signature. I ended up having my notary at a nearby UPS store for 5 bucks each. The UPS price is still high compared to suburb locations - the IL state price should be $1 per each notary.

Yes they are fast... But be ready to pay $10 per page to get notarized. that's a ridiculous price. Go to UPS on Wabash in the Palmer house, Only $5 or any other UPS store outside the Loop its only $1. I understand however, they have to make rent some how. If your desperate, by all means this is your place.

My questions were half listened to over the phone, which resulted in be frustratingly yelled the same response or getting incorrect information. While notarizing our document he was moving so fast that he half read it, scribbled out intentional text he thought was error, and invalidated our document. Speed without care is not service.

I went here a couple days ago during their busiest time of day (midday) and needed a TON of notarizations. While a bit chaotic, there was a distinct organization and efficiency to this place and I was taken care of very well. I got everything I needed and even received some extra attention from the wonderful owner, Shah. If you take a few minutes to speak with him personally, he will go out of his way to take care of you and he is very funny! This will always be my go-to place any time I need specialized travel documents or a notarization.

I called the Notary Service within minutes of their opening. I spoke with a gentleman regarding a certificate regarding marital status for a Swedish Sambo Visa. He informed me to Google the document I needed and bring it in. Ok, easy enough. Upon arriving, Shah let me know that it would take him a couple minutes to get to me as he was helping another customer. He was very attentive and very quick. Overall, great customer service, and a nice, fast experience. Would recommend over any other option in the city.

Went to a UPS location who will charge $6 per page and makes it very expensive if you have 10 pages or more. Searched on google and found that their office was next to my building. Went there with the docs. They charged $2 per page and it took less than 7 mins In and Out. Location was very convenient and they were very fast. Will go again if needed.

Everyone hates going to 118 North Michigan and then finding out you have to do one more thing to complete your task is frustrating. My wife found Shah on line and within 5 minutes we were notarized and he takes a great amount of pride in his work. He will show the people who have trusted him to expedite the notarized documents. On top of it all, with a task like this, the guy as been in business for over 30 years and has a hilarious sense of humor. If you have to go downtown, you have to see Shah. I almost never take the time to do write a review and felt appropriate given how quickly he made this entire process. I will have everything notarized with him moving forward.
