Always nice to deal with. The store is very clean
Great store and responded to all my emails. Thnk you
My Favorite UPS store, they treat you like family!
Fast friendly efficient service
People are very friendly, efficient, and copy machine is way cheaper than going to the State Library.
I am a long-time Evanston resident, and this is by far my favorite UPS store. The customer service and efficiency of this store is always great! They are always honest and upfront about their prices, and willing to help you out with whatever you need.
Very nice guy running the place. He's always very helpful and he knows his stuff.
Fabulous customer service! We've always appreciated how nice everyone is. Clean store, and large parking lot shared with the rest of the strip mall.
Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Fabian over the phone. He thoughtfully listened to my concerns regarding my shipment and made the sincere effort to assist with my problem. This experience was refreshing after my previous experience contacting The UPS Store located at 16270 Makaloa Honolulu, Hi where the woman rudely rushed me off the phone and spoke with a ride tone, unsympathetic toward my problem.
I was charged $21.00 for sending a fax. They did not have pricing posted, so I should have asked. When I looked shocked, the women laughed and said "I'm not joking, I guess I should have told you how much it would be." I will never go in there again.
Good office
Terrible customer service. Did not bother to tell anyone that mail was delayed when something shipped something priority. Instead of 2 days it's gling to take 5, when I called to ask the lady was rude. Terrible customer service.
Walked in to send back equipment for TV. No questions asked, scanned what I had, and gave me a receipt and I was on my way. Employee very nice, competent and always smiling.
Friendly and took time to answer my questions. Helpful.
I highly recommend using Billy's UPS store in Houma, LA. The entire staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Being a local small business owner I can appreciate when a business goes the extra length to serve it's customers, and Billy's UPS definitely does!!!
This UPS store has helped me so much with copies; laminating; business cards; shipping; postage; mailbox services & so much more. The whole staff is great & efficient.
Quick and helpful. Well done sir!
Owners are very friendly and accommodating, and they always remember your name!
Used this store several times over the last four years as a college student and I think service quality varies a lot depending on the person(s) in the office. Overall not so good service, but (probably) the main store manager who I see every time I go is consistently good. But I cannot rate here highly compared to, say, the USPS office 10 minutes away.
I asked this store to pick up a hutch, package it, and send it 1500 miles away. The hutch was old and contained old glass. They picked it up and packaged it in a very secure way. It obviously took some time to pack it. I received it all in one piece. There was a delay in getting it shipped, but once it was, I received it quickly. Thank you Todd! I would highly recommend this store.
I walked in to return something on Amazon and I was out within two minutes! Very nice staff.
If you want fast customer service by a knowledgeable, friendly staff, visit this location. I've been a satisfied customer for years.
Five stars for excellent service from Fabian the manager at the Bishop Street location who provides wonderful customer service with a friendly attitude and smile. :-)
Best UPS store service I've had the fortune to experience. Staff was very attentive and catered to all my needs for a very fragile and detail oriented shipment they packaged for me. (which my customer received all in one piece) These other reviews seem to be low for no reason besides customer's impatience. Would recommend 10/10 times.
I was charged $1 for to tape the return label on my package.
DO NOT USE THE PLACE!!! I road my bike there in the summer. I needed some blueprints copied and a fax sent. I waited line 3rd in place. When I got to the counter the owner told the cashier that he would help me when he was finished with the cust he was helping. So I stepped aside, cashier helped the next in line. I waited for the owner to come over to help me but he came to the counter and helped another customer that had just walked in. I interrupted him, told him that I was waiting for him, that I was supposed to be next. He told me to GET OUT of the store and to go the the other mailbox place down the street. I was dumbfounded!! I went to Upscale Mail down the street. They are always very accommodating and friendly.
the person who waited on me was not personable nor very helpful.
Fantastic family owned operation. Forward requests are met with a human touch. Very friendly and timely. Will recommend.
Very friendly and super fast, I can’t ask for more!
I can believe how rude the guy behind the counter is I'll never go to that store again and both times I have been there. He acted as if I was stupid and I'm a business owener my self and that's not how to tear a customer shame on him and happin both times so I asked him is there any other store around hear and he said yes , dindt even say where
These people are very polite, competent and professional. It's a shame rookie reviews like the one's posted drag their ratings down. Some Customers are such fools...
Great Service!! Very Friendly!
If you are considering using this store for your shipping services, DON'T. I just went in to ship a free Amazon return. After printing my label, he told me I owed $2.19 for a piece of tape for my box, which I came in with. When I told him I wasn't paying that much for a piece of tape, he threw the box across the counter at me and said, "Well here is your package then. You can ship it somewhere else." When I told him he just lost our business, he couldn't care less. I will never be using this store again. I have never received such poor treatment at a place of business.
Billy and the team at the UPS Store in Houma have been a big help over the last couple of years. I'll just walk in and they'll have my mail and packages there waiting for me. Outstanding service.
Completely overpriced and extremely rude customer service. I would rather walk my packages to where they need to go rather than ever use this UPS again. UPS should revoke their franchise license.
Great customer service!
Your store gets the award of the worst customer service experience of 2017! Unreal how terrible their customer service is. Don’t ship your packages with this location. Very rude and will try to bully you into sending your packages with them. I was sending a small package they quoted me $11. Which was almost the total value of the package. I said I will check USPS the older gentleman said they have their prices right there and that it would be $18. I went to find out for myself- come to find out it cost me $3 to ship my package. These people are scammers and very unprofessional. Also they can’t see usps rates don’t don’t believe their lies. Go support usps instead and save your money. Never coming here again.
Go there all the time. Friendly and helpful.
Always Nice ! They will help you anyway they can to make your shipping and or mailing Experience Fast and Professional. If you need something to get someplace Fast just ask them.
Great Customer Service by UPS Store, had my item shipped and stored for few of days until i arrived from my trip. The best in class service indeed.
When I read some of these reviews I felt compelled to share my experience with this store. I have used every service they have to offer for the past 14 years. At this current location and their previous one. I have my business mailing address with this store and the benefits they offer fit my lifestyle perfectly. It is not only what business services they have offered me, but I trust them - 110%. They know me by name and when I am in the store they know A LOT of people by name. Everyone is greeted when they walk through the door. After 15 years and accessing their location on various days or hours, the experience has always been the same. Professional, friendly, accommodating and after 14 years, they are friends. (I was not solicited to leave this review. I was checking their holiday hours and saw the 3.3 rating and was surprised.)
Top-notched service by likewise employees. Clean, well lit & fully stocked. Service has always been friendly, helpful & well explained. Hours are accommodating & location (within Gardiner Lane Shopping Center) is readily accessible.
Great helpful staff
Great place
I have had the folks at the UPS store do a lot of large format printing for me. They have always been on time and priced very reasonably.
I had a large shipment and items to be packed, Stephanie was awesome. I will definitely use this store again.
My favorite
Sad to see such bad experiences! I've used this UPS at least twice in the past couple of months, and I prefer them over USPS because, while they can't legally compete in price with USPS, their overnight and 3-day mailing services are actually (surprise!) guaranteed to arrive the next day or within three days, respectively. I would much rather pay the extra coin to know that my package will arrive at its destination on time and in one piece! When it comes to service, it's always been relatively empty when I came in, and aside from generic small talk, I haven't really interacted with the staff. They seemed friendly enough! :)
Solid experience. Had a couple packages I needed to pick up here because I wasn't at home. Friendly and prompt.
Not as bad as USPS, but not as good as a typical UPS (the ones Ive been to at least) 2 Rating: Beware of hidden prices. I asked them to print 2 pages and then was charged $1.50 for using their computer, and $0.10 per page. UPS in Bangor didn't do anything like that. 4 Rating: The people who helped were truly personable and also efficient! Note: I talked with the owner, and I respect he's working hard to operate a franchise, but he should bill first before providing a service (in case people have issues with the price, even if it's considered the areas market price).
Friendly staff
This is one of my favorite locations. They are super friendly, quick, and the young guy always handles my package with care.
DO NOT SHIP TO THIS LOCATION. The only thing they care about here is making money off you. Your mail doesn't matter. Ship literally ANYWHERE else and avoid customer abuse and frustration.
The employee that just answered my phone cakk to them was very rude . Not happy
I saw that The UPS Store in Houma offered photo printing services while using their shipping services. The canvas prints on the wall really interested me. Recently, I had a photo I was interested in putting on canvas, and decided to give them a shot. I was very impressed with the quality of the print, as were my wife and daughters. Additionally, I waited for the canvas instead of coming back, and I lucked out due to the time of day. They weren’t going crazy with customers coming in and out, and i received my stretched canvas in about a 1/2 hour. 10/10 would use them again.
Good service and always fast
Unfriendly non-helpful staff that wanted to charge me for using their desk top and for printing a UPS lable. I feel that these things should be complimentary since I'm already paying for their services. Because of the experience I had here UPS has lost a customer for good. Definitely would recommend going to a different location if possible.
Great place to ship packages. Very friendly and helpful customer service.
I’ve lived in Evanston almost 40 years and I’ve shipped hundreds of packages over the years. UPS, particularly this Sherman Ave store, has been reliable and extremely competent in handling all my shipping needs, from small items to larger packages. Sherman Avenue UPS was responsible for a very important shipment - 10 large paintings headed to NYC, and the manager personally wrapped each painting perfectly with care and even let me watch to supervise. The paintings arrived without a glitch. The post office could never come close to that kind of proficiency. The customer care is so friendly and unbelievably fast!
Very helpful staff willing to go the extra mile. 100% recommend for shipping/printing needs.
One of the worst courrier service ever! They went to deliver my documents they didn't find the recipient so they kept it at their store and they didn't send a text message to the recipient so he can get them! This is unprofessional and I will never use their service again!!! Not recommended at all!!!!
Great store! Customer service is excellent, very helpful, and the staff was happy to provide inexpensive pricing options. There is parking available in the executive center parking garage (same side of street as store, entrance is located right after the storefront). Currently $4 for each half-hour.
Long time Evanston resident and I can rely on this store for consistency more than any other store in town. Fair prices and better service usps.
They were very informative and very pleasant to do business
Good price on notary services. Quick service.
I really admire these men working here. They were a big help.
I sent a shipment from here to Point Roberts, wa. on May 16th, still no package according to tracking it has never left their building
It is unarguably the most well ran UPS I have dealt with. Hundreds of items shipped and boxed. And not issue one. Accommodating owners and staff.
As a Northwestern student this is the closest location to campus and I'm thankful for that! This UPS store went above and beyond to help make my move last summer from Evanston to Austin simple. I was able to pick up shipping boxes and even sign up for a time where they would come pick them up for free from my place within minutes by stopping at their tent on campus. After I packed my boxes they came to pick them up to be shipped to Texas at no cost! (Which saved me a whole lot of trouble since I have no car at school) Everyone of their employees I spoke with were great guys and very helpful. Y'all deserve 5 stars.
So the USPS is inside of the Hallmark store and it closes @ 1 pm on Saturdays not 8 pm
Always courteous and helpful!
Their employees close the store early before the posted close time. The owner was very rude to me tried to charge me $1 to put tape on my package without telling me first
Fantastic service. If you need something from point A to point B safely this is the place!
It was a few weeks ago that I went, but when I did the guy at the window was super helpful and handled my package quickly. And he was really nice ^-^
This store is terrible. I paid extra to ship a package with UPS over USPS because the store has told me the package would arrive on a certain date. No, it didn’t arrive until 3 days after. When questioned, the store said the time frame is just an estimate. In other words, it’s a guess work if you would...Manager Adam was not apologetic for his store giving out inaccurate information. His staff Stephanie will mislead customers with information that is different from what is printed on the shipping receipt (delivery time). They refuse to admit their own mistakes even though UPS customer service at the 800 number says the franchise store has made a mistake. It’s a shame that people at the store can’t be honest.
I am the lady with the 4 lbs Chihuahua that was told to leave the store. My chi is friendly as can be and quiet as a mouse, plus I had her in my arm, not a danger to anyone. In response to the owner's reply to my husband's complaint, there was no sign on their door at the time or I wouldn't have carried her in with me! And the owner could have been more diplomatic when he told me no dogs allowed.
Very nice, quick and extremely FRIENDLY service every time I've been in over the years. Whether they are busy or the store is empty, they always have a kind word!
absolutely rude staff, They are some of the rudest people i have ever met. do not come here. The main lady who runs the store is the worst. She will lie straight to your face.
Ups is garbage took 6 days for second day air
Excellent, thank you for your help shipping my delicate package across the US!
I have no idea what this guy is talking about. Waiting in line is a fundamental when you have to wait your turn. This store plus the other stores in Evanston do a great job. I come from the city just to go to the Sherman location. Thanks for the hard work guys!
I use them for packing and shipping and have never had a problem. I always get great service.
Pure lack of customer service. Makes me never ever want to set foot in that store again I would rather drive to Spokane. Insist on charging for a piece of tape. Ridiculous
I will never return to this store I would rather drive an additional 15 miles than deal with Thomas who works at the Post Falls location. I was trying to return a package that was sent to me by mistake( I never purchased product and couldn't keep based off my personal morals). I was many issues with this man on multiple occasions in short he kept trying to charge me "fees" which I found odd because I've never been charged anything for sending product back to this company before. When I asked why the "fees" he just stated "they're are fees." Come to find out it was for tape and print outs for labels. I had tape in my car and my label wasn't scanning so we printed them off, without telling me before hand there would be a charge. If he would have clarified the first time about the "fee" about tape I would have just taped up in my car and sent it that day but I went home thinking it was the initial label. In short, Thomas doesn't clarify about these "fees" and where they come from. To top it off when we returned with our taped up package and new clear label he made very rude remarks such as "Was the drive back home worth the amount of the fees." I used to work in customer with people screaming in my face but I always held my composure because I knew they weren't mad at me but the situation. I even told Thomas I was frustrated at the situation not him and never raised my voice once to him, yet her decided to be very disrespectful and treat me less than any human being deserves to be treated. I will state I have used this UPS store before this incident and have always been pleased with the customer service. Thomas is definitely not an asset to this company. I contacted corporate and Thomas is the owner so if you want good service go to Coeur D'Alene or liberty lake.
I come here once a week. My experience is always fast and efficient even when it's busy.
Very helpful staff. Will use UPS store Houma for all of my shipping and office needs. I would highly recommend giving these folks a try. Their prices are great as well.
I have used this store to do business from time to time over the years. However, my recent experience there has caused me to vow never to enter this establishment again. The person on the phone - who I can only assume is the owner - was incredibly disrespectful and rude over a small misunderstanding about the UPS Store's inability to correct mistakes on printed documents from other UPS Stores. Rather than politely explaining the fact that each store is a franchise, or possible even gaining a loyal customer by offering some help or assistance, the owner rudely insulted my wife's intelligence, for no reason at all. I am utterly disgusted with the disrespect that this manager showed my wife, and I would advise against patronizing an establishment that seems incapable of kind and friendly service.
The worst company ever, they lost my mother's heart medication worth $350, I had to borrow money to buy it because the insurance doesn't cover early refills. I went to the store gave them all the paperwork they need and they said they cover only 100 Its thier mistake they lost the package and now they don't wanna pay what I paid for thier mistake I am gonna sue this company
Too far for people who don't own a car
Don't go there! Overpriced service comparing with other UPS store. Jerk guy works there.
The staff here is always super helpful. In the past we have rented a vacation home in Post Falls. In advance of that we had dozens (literally) of boxes shipped to the store. These were often very large and heavy boxes (e.g., large floating inflatable islands to put in the river). We've had over 20 boxes delivered there before we could pick them up. The store has always been very accommodating of our unusual needs. And the staff has gone out of their way to be friendly and helpful. They always insist on helping me carry that many boxes to the car even though I tell them I can do it. Recently my wife mistakenly put the wrong box number on a few Amazon orders but they noticed the mistake and correctly noted the boxes were for us. Very highly recommended.
Staff is always friendly. Great location for my business.
I’m not in the habit of leaving reviews but this was quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. Thomas was incredibly rude and antagonistic. I’m just completely blown away with how I was treated. Yes, they are running a business but it’s not what you say...it’s how you say it.
Great store!!!!!
Terrible service. I have a mailbox at the UPS Store 3904 and it's almost impossible to get someone to forward my mail although it'a service that I'm paying for. I sent out 3 emails on 3 separate days and all got ignored. I even called and still didn't get service. I will file a complaint with corporate as this is unacceptable.
Go down the street to another store. They charged me after labeling my package after I asked if they had an envelope. Along they way, they did not disclose that it would cost anything. Poor business practices. Let me clarify. I understand you might charge me for a product. But you should say the price before you slap a label on it.
Super helpful and friendly staff always helps me ship whatever I need shipped properly and with ease. Great place!
Great service.
This locally owned business gives amazing service! The owners and the employees go above and beyond to give you the best customer service!
Nothing but the most professional people. Thank you all for making my job easier.
The two who work here are always nice and never annoyed when I just drop off a pre-paid package without buying anything.
Went there for first time yesterday. Was told my package would be $25. It was a small box of timecards. I politely said wow that sounds like a lot of money for a small box and the girl helping me snapped back saying the post office was the same price. I told her I was going there anyways so i would double check. She told me there was no point because the price would still be $25. So I took my package to the post office. Guess what...it was $12.30. I will never go back because it is one thing to be talked to that way by the person helping you but I really hate being lied to.
Everybody at the store provides excellent service.....Jordan, Bradley helps me with a smile. Thank you from the broken of my heart!!!!!!!
I have always had great service at this store. Everyone has been friendly and very helpful.
Owner, Joan Willett, and her employees are a crew of rude, unprofessional imbeciles. Joan’s responses to customers who have given her negative feedback, supports that. I’m sure she’ll have something smart-mouthed to say in response to this review. I don’t care; karma will handle Joan’s nasty self. After a lackluster experience with employees at this location, I went to the Breckinridge Lane store and had my issue resolved with no problem. When I called to provide feedback, Pattie, GM, placed me on speaker with Joan and an assistant manager. Not sure what benefit Pattie saw in that, but no problem. Hindsight: Pattie is incompetent and unable to respond to customer feedback, she knows Joan is unstable and unprofessional. Pattie wanted Joan to do what Joan ultimately did, thinking it would somehow absolve Pattie and her associates of any wrong-doing. It didn’t. What was most problematic was that once on the phone, Joan thought it appropriate to repeatedly interrupt, then tell me what associates at another store should not have done. I asked Joan if she owns the other store. She doesn’t. I informed her that she doesn’t get to say what associates there shouldn’t have done, ESPECIALLY since her all they did was re-box an item using a box another customer had left behind. I should not have to pay a dime to return something to Amazon—not for a box, label or anything else, given the condition the items were in when I received them. The associates at the Breckenridge Lane location knew that and delivered excellent customer service based on their knowledge of that. I told Joan that not only does she NOT get to dictate what associates at a store that isn’t hers, do, her petulant response to me providing her feedback, confirmed that attitude reflects leadership. Her employees suck because her attitude and professional skills are trash. Joan was livid. I didn’t care. She began shouting over me, then asked my name. Under no obligation to provide her my name, I didn’t. Joan continued shouting, “What is your name.” When I didn’t tell her, she hung up. In this day of big businesses pushing local proprietors out of business, I find it reprehensible that surly Joan Willis thought it appropriate to respond to me as she did. Oh well perhaps all I’ve said in this review, and that which I articulated before Joan hung up on me, will resonate when she’s out of business. Do yourself a favor: Hop on the Watterson eastbound and patronize the location on Breckenridge Lane. Their owner and management clearly get what Joan Willett doesn’t. Update: Judging by the dishonest response from the owner, it would seem her conscience is guilty. I didn’t call anyone names, I provided an assessment of my experience. Joan wasn’t at the store while I was there. She has no clue what happened. Her associates were nasty, she was too. Frankly, if she now asserts she was there when I visited, it says a lot about her that she didn’t come out to address the situation. She didn’t. Instead, she jumped bad on the phone & played victim via her response to my review, like a coward would. Why would Joan contact a store that she claimed had done things wrong, and ask for advice? That makes no sense whatsoever. More importantly, I don’t care what Joan claims: Associates at the Breckenridge Ln. location sent my package back and I was issued a full refund. Joan must be big mad about that. Joan should simply own that she modeled petulant behavior that day, her associates were unprofessional, fix it and move on. I guess that’s too much like right.
These guys were friendly and helped me with getting my papers copied and notarized...and we got them shipped out! I was avoiding this forever...but they made it seem really easy. Kudos!
WOW. I have to compliment Bradley in the Houma, LA. MLK Blvd. UPS store for the exceptional service he has provided for me over the years. But, especially my last visit. He helped me to return several items and before I even got home from work the item amounts were already refunded to my account !!! He is always so kind, courteous and respectful. It is so nice to get this type of service in the world today. Keep up the good work UPS !!
Every time I go into this store, the staff smiles at me, is super friendly and helpful. Kai, in particular, has gone above and beyond in helping me with print needs and saw me frantically trying to cut the prints in store because I was in a hurry. He just took up the slack, took the stack sitting next to me and started mass cutting them for me. I had dropped and broken my phone on way into store, was very close to production deadline and he aided me in letting me use phone and computer. His kindness and helpfulness turned a stressful day around and is one of the reasons I use UPS over other stores for printing when I can.
Poor customer service, I had a package delivered to them, and they sent it back because they wanted $45.00 for a mailbox instead of the normal $5.00 a week for packages that is standard across all UPS stores. If you go to this store, be cautious what you are paying for, as unfortunately they are only in it for the money, and do not follow UPS wide guidelines. -- EDIT WITH REGARDS TO THE UPS STORE'S RESPONSE I had already shipped three other packages to them, which they had held for me to receive and kindly called and let me know that they had them. I also had let them know that there would be others arriving.
Rude young lady. Actually rolled her eyes at me when I asked a question. Will avoid this location.
They don’t open at the time stated on the door. Waited 15 minutes after the open time and no sign of anyone working.
I am living just at the next street of UPS for last 1 year. I consistently had a great experience at this branch of UPS. Today was my last day at Evanston, and I went there for shipping my packages. They were extremely helpful as usual. They even helped me to carry my packages from my apartment at next street to UPS. Also, they have very competitive prices. Especially if you pay online at their website.
Cyrus was great and super patient with elderly couple before me. Very friendly and prompt with service. Don’t come often but when I do, pretty good service
Really friendly, great service. Been renting a mailbox here and highly recommend.
Very kind owner! She was helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable. Great printing services.
I came in 1 minute before closing. I expected somebody to be irritated that I came in right before closing, but my package needed to be mailed that day. I was greeted by a very friendly young girl and took my package. Very nice and helpful. Great service!
Wonderful staff! I didn't realize that the least expensive a UPS shipment could be is about $10. But the staff here did everything they could to save me money and were very considerate of my needs and the needs of the package. I noticed that in the review before me someone. I'm not sure if he got different people than I do but I know they don't charge for computer time if you're printing a UPS (United Parcel Service) label BUT they do charge you if you're printing a USPS (United States Postal Service) label or anything else. I confused the two as well the first time I went in. Every time I've been there the space has been clean and the service has been prompt. Would recommend!
Amazing service! I walked in thinking I knew what I was doing. I was returning an amazon order & had the wrong information for the return. The staff was knowledgeable & patience as they helped walk me through the process to get my package returned.
The guy there is always good to us, honest, and extra helpful with getting us the best rates and helping with packaging; even if it means suggesting USPS as the cheaper route.
Every time I go in, I have a pleasant experience. I'm served timely in a professional and courteous manner. This franchise is run by some great folks, and they are a benefit to this town.
Older caucasian gentleman was very attentive and helpful. Thanks for the great service!
Came to this location even though it was a farther drive from my home because the reviews for the Bougainville location were awful. There is no parking in downtown so we parked in the 3 minute loading zone. It literally took a minute to process my amazon returns and get a receipt. The cashier was so nice and pleasant. Will be returning to this location in the near future for all of my UPS transactions!
Friendly, fast service. Plus now they have fingerprinting service!!
Courteous and helpful staff who keep their cool and stay classy, even when some woman forgets to take her xanax and has a meltdown in their store over being asked "Can I help you?"
Close earlier than posted hours. Arrived 10 minutes to closing with packages that just had to be taken, already weighed and labeled. No one was here, lights out, no cars. Unacceptable. Be there until your posted closing time. Will be making a corporate complaint.
Wow. I don't often thrown around the word "tremendous", but that's exactly how I feel following my most recent UPS store visit. Great employees with positive attitudes and the utmost patience. Not sure why everyone else rates these guys so low?! They are the best!
Incredible store. Awesome staff!!! So grateful for this local resource
My wife stopped by to drop off a package. She had her friendly little 4# Chihuahua with her. The clerk was extremely rude and told her to get the dog out of his store. Won't be back there again.
I would NEVER use this store's services again. I had a package shipped from CA to ME for a family wedding and they charged me a pick up fee!!!!!! The manager was a total ***hole. There's nothing on their website saying they charge fees and should not be listed on the UPS Website if they operate outside of UPS services that are PAID FOR WHEN choosing UPS! Reported to corporate UPS, they offered a discount on my next shipment to cover.
Always a great experience at the UPS store. I get my mail from them and have for many years. Thomas and Robyn are always friendly and willing to help.
Robin always helps me with all my art projects. Service is great.
Absolutely terrible and even dishonest merchant. The young male in the store just flat lied to his boss about details that happened earlier in the day. If you go here do NOT expect any good service. I was giving them an opportunity to see their service versus a competitor down the road. One word: FAIL I don't agree with your characterization of what went down, and certainly won't use this store in Post Falls ever again.
We have used this place for the past two years now. They have always been so nice and very helpful. Neat, clean, professional, and enjoyable. We plan to continue do business here. It is a UPS Store but, it is locally owned.
Horrible service, bad attitude, had a mailbox there for five years, if you don't bring your key it's the end if the world for them to grab your mail. Overpriced as well, I will be going somewhere else. I would suggest you do the same.
Very rude. Walked out and went to a different store. Will go out of my way to avoid this store in the future!
Tom is the most friend UPS rep ever!
Haven't had to send anything in a long time, never had to send anything I needed to also have returned. Gentleman I worked with knew exactly what to do. He made it happen. I got the impression to not piss that guy off!
Very helpful staff. Quick and efficient.
Great service, friendly staff and very responsive to customer needs. I'm highly satisfied and lucky to be able to call this location my go-to store for all of my business needs.
I am in this UPS Store at least twice two three times a month. They have always been very kind, courteous and friendly. They are also eager to assist you in any service they offer! Which is more than just shipping products. They also do banners, canvas prints, and Prince as large as you need, everything customizable. The employees and owner are very knowledgeable in everything they do! I would recommend this store to anyone and everyone I know! They have a great group of employees all ready to assist you!
Never use this store EVER!!!!!!!!! I shipped my TV with them and it got damaged. They rushed the shipping and didn’t ask me at any point to declare the value of the TV and they actually entered a value of $100 on my behalf which should be illegal. Ended up paying $200 to ship the TV and they damaged it. Now they’re claiming it is my fault for not reading between the lines. This is the last time I ever use UPS!!!!!! It’s FEDEX from now on!!!!!! Never go to this store even if your life depended on it!!!!!!!!!!!!
TERRIBLE SERVICE: STORE FAILED NEXT DAY SERVICE GUARANTEE DUE TO INCOMPETENCE/FAILURE TO GIVE THE PREPAID LETTER TO UPS UNTIL 6 HOURS LATE This UPS Store accepted and clerk scanned in as "received at 3:40P into system" a UPS NEXT DAY letter on a Tues and 1 hour and 20 min before the online published UPS Air pickup time. This UPS store then "failed to tender the letter to UPS" until 10:20PM??? Therefore the letter missed next day service. UPS corporate verifies all this info is true but claims that my issue is with their franchisee "UPS Store" even though UPS does not state anywhere on the UPS official site that a UPS Store is not UPS. UPS also informs me by phone that we are safer dropping off into any unattended official UPS drop box than use a "UPS Store"- UPS will only guarantee the locations they control and they cannot control their subcontractors???
I dropped off my Comcast equipment to be returned for free. I was told I'd be emailed a receipt, but 6 days later it hadn't arrived. I called the store, was placed on hold for 10 minutes, and was then given an excuse that "the guy working on Sunday was lazy and hadn't sent the equipment back". I was told it would be processed shortly after the phone call, but by the end of business I still have no receipt. Now Comcast is threatening to charge me for the equipment, and I have no proof I dropped it off at the store. In addition to this, any time I have been in this store the staff has been apathetic and inattentive, as though I was bothering them.
I have been using UPS for personal shipping and will now be using them for business as well. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can tell that they have very good management in place. They have shipped several large packages both domestically and internationally, all of which were delivered safely and on-time. Some of the boxes have been large and awkward but the staff here still makes sure that they are transported properly and that all the contents are safe. I would definitely recommend this UPS Store to anybody, especially if you have questions about shipping; the staff here knows what to do. Thanks,
Poor customer service. Nickel and dime kind of place too. They'll also try charging $3 for tape for a box when they actually sell tape for less than that. Weird place. There's two other locations in Evanston.
I have been to dozens of ups stores and ups warehouses, I Have never been treated so wrong in nearly a decade! The owners wife who drives a mini cooper also takes up 3 spots, demands .50 for tape because my box wasn't taped properly. Every other store doesn't charge for prepaid labels, and the owner, he will treat you like your a special needs person if you ask questions. Came once to this location, avoid it still today. (Fall 2014) PS. I still talk about how bad this store is to other UPS stores and most of em know. . .
Stephanie was very awesome and professional to help me edit my printing papers for a big tournament. I love this store been going last 8 years to do my printings and shipping. I will go back here again and again.
Has gone down hill recently. Definitely don't try and go near but before closing, they will refuse to open the door. Also, it is taking longer and longer to get them to actually give me my mail after tracking shows delivered, hours or days. Probably not reuping my box here. Edit: They flat out are going to add at least an extra day on delivery and don't do refunds either. Actually worse than having the mail carrier deliver. It would also almost be cheaper to just become a notary myself. $5 per signature on the same paperwork is outrageous according to another notary.
Had a great experience. I don't know what happened to the people who wrote a lower star rating. Very friendly& mailed 2 large boxes with no problems!
Retarded staff
I have used this store and their packing products for several years (more than a decade), and all I ever sent, delicate and not so delicate, arrived safely and ON TIME. The man I dealt with was very nice and has always treated me with a polite manner and taken care of the details. It is expensive, especially if you depend on their packaging, but well worth it by results as I have experienced them.
Horrible Customer Service! One Star Doesn't do this particular UPS Store any justice!! The business moto of the UPS Store is; To receive packages from couriers such as UPS, FedEx & DHL when you physically can't." Apparently this "particular" UPS Store is incapable of doing this UPS Moto. The excuse I received was; "we don't know you, so we refused the package." Gee, I wish I knew everyone in a particular city, or who I deal with everyday in a retail enviroment..... wow, we don't know you?? Wow, how many packages does UPS deliver in a day to unknown individuals. Wow! Talk about poor service. Then I finally get FedEx to find the shippmental again and they, The UPS Store refused it again, even after calling them to tell them FedEx was going to redeliver the package today. What horrible customer service. Talk about what the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Not to mention the Manager/Owner of this UPS Store fails to get back to you when contacted, to speak to you. Very Bad Service!! Stay away from this UPS Store in Post Falls, ID at all costs. Drive the extra 20 miles into Spokane, WA where they actually care about Customers and Customer Service!!
Two times now I have visited this UPS store for its unique services. The first time I needed an item notarized. The second time I needed to print a large document in both black and white. Behold, both times, I was assisted by Todd, who struck me with his professionalism, patience, acumen and great personality. You will not be disappointed by him or this store. Thank you.
Very helpful people
The Customer Service was amazing, the Staff is very welcoming, friendly, and well educated on handling customers. I recommend anyone out there to visit the location and see for yourself how quickly you'll be In and Out and look forward to your next visit there at the UPS store.
Beware they charge for any little thing they can. Need your box taped they will charge $1 for 6" of tape. They will direct you to use their computers to print Amazon labels rather then allowing you to email the label to them for them to print, so they can charge more for using their fancy printer. I understand wanting to make money but when they never let you leave (even when just dropping off a package) without some kind of charge it is ridiculous. Other UPS stores are a lot more reasonable and accommodating. If you mention your surprise at the additional charges they will be rude and short with you.
The UPS store far exceeded my expectations. I had a package that was time sensitive to return to the manufacturer. I assumed there was no way or not enough time and I would lose $200. Nonetheless, I walked into the store & these guys jumped all over my needs.....great experience & service!
Very nice.
Totally unhelpful and incompetent staff.
Owner is rude and lacks customer service skills. Like everyone else has said, he'll charge you for anything can dream up. Amazon drop off returns are free at every other ups location I've been to, but he'll charge you. I now drive to CDA ups because they're friendly, accommodating and offer customer service. Maybe if this guy had some customer service training he'd realize that the way to make a profit in business is by doing right by your customers, not by being a greedy and rude.
Always helpful, courteous and prompt!
I went in to print a document and the customer service was deplorable. I would never recommend anyone going to this UPS Store. If there was a negative rating to be given, this site would require such a rating. The man was rude, unhelpful and belittling and offensive. *****When you have a system that charges you per minute while you try to figure out how to use it; is not asking for free stuff!!!!!!!!! The employee or "owner" (according to the response) should have have made that clear prior to me entering my credit card. Yes, it does say in the directions, three lines down on the page. It should have been the first line, and that any and all transactions will be charge per minuet. This is false advertising and dishonest, not to mention a rip off.
If there is no star I will vote for it, a bad shipping line, I lost $ 103 to send overnight but now it's 2 weeks that I have not received the goods yet.
Excellent customer service. I came in to send items back to Amazon for a sick friend, and the gentleman patiently helped me figure out the complicated returns. I'll keep doing business here.
Stopped in here to pick up a few packages, after a note was left on my door. The older gentlemen had no idea what he was talking about. Nor could he tell a correct tracking number. He kept walking away from the counter and throwing his hands up. He didn't even look through the packages he had sitting there. Just nope we don't have it here.
Always helpful!!! Excellent Customer Service.
I have used the facility for about three years. It is hard for drivers to get up to my property so having UPS deliveries this was a good place to go.,yes, they have gotten busier but certainly no wiser. I had gone into their shop on three different occasions and they were too busy to take my payment unless I felt like waiting 20 minutes. So low and behold they then charged me a late fee on 15.00, not much but it annoyed me because I had tried to pay three times before. I asked for them to waive the late charge and they refused. At that point I wanted to cancel but then they refused to give me my mail. A total violation of the law holding mail as a hostage. I have in my 74 years on this planet ever been treated or threatened by a bunch of ill informed staff, including the male owner. When I advised him I was moving on, because of the service he informed me and the whole store he was so very busy that they ordered another 700 mail boxes and my needing a post office box was irreverent to my needs as his business had grown so large people didn’t matter. The only way I got my mail was or pay for the box. Yes, I could have taken this up with law enforcement for refusing to give me mail that was needed by me. It just wasn’t worth it. So these jerks ended up stealing $98.00 from me. I was a bit concerned thinking did I say something? But then after reading the other reviews I doubt they will be around for very long.
We decided to give the UPS mailbox a try, because USPS sucks! I contacted the store via email, and Fabian was the one that helped me out. He responded super quick and was super helpful with my questions. We went in the store to complete the paperwork and Fabian was there to help us. He was a delight!! Super helpful! He went above and beyond my definition of customer service. I am very pleased with my UPS store! Thank you for being awesome Fabian!
They were very helpful when it came to delivering one of my packages, I had a lot of questions and they answered them effortlessly and with a smile
SO much better than USPS
Incredible store with friendly and helpful staff! Have been using their services for years for everything from sending faxes to shipping sensitive items. They always play some good music in there too!! This UPS Store is super best #1 forever!!
great lil place close to where I live! Friendly helpful... not sure if this is a secret, but yes, sometimes it is cheaper to mail things at the post office but things that need great tracking, packaging and handling go with UPS
When I sent the package, I asked the first associate if the information I provided was sufficient and they said yes(they even have a video). UPS ended up not delivering and sent the package back. When I called to find out what was going on they said they would call me back and they never did. They only called me back days later to say I have to pay for a reshipment when their associates made 2 mistakes (that they acknowledged and apologize for ) .
This is actually a hallmark store. Currently Google has the hours for Hallmark. They have a small postal unit in the back of the store, but it has completely different hours from the store. The post office hours are Monday through Friday 9:30-5:00 and Saturday from 9:30-1:00. It is closed on Sunday's.
Ups
been there several times, always with friendly service~
Great store. Polite and professional staff that made easy work of the pile of untaped and stickered shipping bags I dumped on the table. Kudos and A+. Definitely using them in the future for shipments. The store was clean and had a pretty welcoming and friendly layout too. Good place, all said and done.
I wasn't home on the first delivery attempt and a note was left that said they would try again the next business day. I waited for three days and no ups truck even came into my neighborhood. I didn't pay for shipping to have to drive to the store.
Anna is always so nice. There’s a tall gentleman that works here too, and he’s always friendly and helpful. Great place that cares about quality customer service.
I've never been in this store, and I had a package that I already had the label for and it was boxed, it just needed a piece of tape on it. I asked if they could help me. The man (I presume owner) said "Yes". He put some tape on it, and I said "thank you". He then said "that's $1"... I was shocked. I asked is it $1 to put tape on it? He was rude and said, "yes, it costs money to finish wrapping your package..." I said I would go somewhere else..., He then went ahead and cut the tape off. WOW, I'm shocked. I'm never going back, and I'll tell everyone to NOT go there. Postal Plus is half a mile away, and they did it for free, $ .001 of tape and 15and they were very nice and pleasant, I'll spend my money there.
Great local ups store
I had a quick question about getting a receipt for my package and was told to wait in line. After waiting for 20 minutes (I timed it) I was told they do not issue receipts. How would I be able to confirm that I dropped off the package without a receipt. They could steal my packages and I would have no proof the packages were dropped off. First time I have ever encountered this at a UPS store. Poor, poor service!
So caring! Helped me track a package and then showed me how to do it on the UPS website for next time so I could do it on my own! Teach a man to fish as they say.
Great Service! Friendly & energetic, No pain at all getting the package in the system and on the way ......They take care of anything you don't know how or may not want to do.......Highly recommend for your shipping!!!!
they have helped me for years and delivered on time and very friendly
This UPS store is exceptionally friendly and helpful.
They were friendly and helpful
Hands down the best UPS store in town.
The notary stayed late for us and held the driver back a few minutes so we could get our shipment right onto the truck. They are so friendly and helpful!
The staff (named Zach I believe) won't make extra or even required steps to do their job well like giving you a receipt for your shipping label and won't tell you fees up front. Very disappointed.
Great staff
One of the better stores. Employees were very helpful to me when I went.
Terrible experience. We decided to take our business to a different UPS store. Service team have no idea how to package sensitive materials and we're not willing to listen to direction. Not careful and dropped one of our products. Tried to downplay his carelessness instead of apologize. UPS needs to replace their service team at this location.
Been here a few times to print some things off. Everyone I've met that works there has been very nice, and gone out of their way to make sure it was up to my standards for printing. I will continue to go here for as long as I can!
A nice little store.
Always friendly, efficient, and awesome customer service!
First time I had to do a notary and was extremely pleased with the lady's patience. I forget her name at the moment, but she gave excellent customer service and she is a true sweetheart. She was very explanitory in what i had to do with the paperwork and never was rude or treated me any different for knowing less. If I need something ever mailed or packaged, they have a new customer to add. Thank you for your help and service!
It took me longer to park than it did in the UPS Store. This place and it's staff are lightning fast and super professional. Great experience!
Billy, Jordan and staff at the Houma UPS Store have been invaluable in helping my legal business. They provide excellent service in shipping, postage, copying, shredding, and more. Moreover, they are tremendously nice people who go above and beyond to assist. They will always have my sincere gratitude.
The staff is extremely attentive, helpful and knowledgable. From now on I will make this my go to shipping store and look forward to more great experiences!
it is so slow. I can believe that it took one week to reach the state next to ME.
Always wonderful customer service. Never had a UPS store or the "other guys" go out of their way to help the way these guys do.
There was a miscommunication about the cost of notaries, but the owner was great about resolving it.
My local ups store. I dont go there much but when i did it was great service. Store is on the small side.
(This is not a joke, and I don't work for fedex haha) It's always very frustrating when service agents are not capable of answering simple direct questions regarding pricing. The agent I was speaking with was interrupted by a 2nd agent who wanted all of the same information I already gave, which is annoying. I think most can understand this as a waste of time. I asked to deal with just the 1st agent as time was a concern, I was hungry and as a diabetic this is crucial. A quick drop off was what I was after. The 1st agent then proceeded to measure my box in a perplexed manner while referencing notes after each dimension, and double checking, writing very slowly. It almost seemed like she was moving intentionally comically slow. I was having low blood sugar, but I think she was in another dimension (especially after making a comment that she needed my phone# because UPS was gathering and selling data to call lists! Yes she actually said that, but when I asked if she was joking, she said yes... weirdo!), and it was taking so long, that I had to suggest my urgency twice. I asked if I could return later once they figured things out now that they had measurements, and ultimately they were unable, and I they did not provide service. Very abrasive. Huge waste of time! I was in there well over 15 minutes for a pair of small packages that were extremely well packed and padded. Disgusted, I went to fedex, paid less for better service and the agent was an absolute pro, in and out less than 5min, no extraneous hassles. Very refreshing, after such a sour experience with UPS. Save your time, money, and stress level and just go elsewhere. The lady did give me a few grapes, which was nice, but I mean really... If they could have just done for me what fedex did, I would have happily off to a good lunch, without having to travel around. Rating 1(for the grapes!) out of 10.
Amazing service and very friendly people
I have a new Etsy site and I had my friend mail a pack basket to Wyoming. I had checked numerous time online about the price via UPS ground. It was in the mid $20 range. These people charged $44 ! I will not use the store in Scarborough nor will I use UPS...
Myself and my husband both work in the customer service business and we found none here. Very rude from the counter help to Manager... Took our package elsewhere!!
Makaloa street store is horrible. Close it. Horrible service. Fire them! Will never go there again.
Everyone is so helpful! Everytime I need something it is done right away with the best attitude. I will be printing all invitations with them from now on. The color and quality is perfect.
One of the guys who works there is the biggest jerk EVER. Made us buy tape to tape up our own package that we were sending out. Was unwilling to use the stores tape. Why??
Fast and friendly service at a great price!
No notary. Jerk who answered the phone hung up on me.
Very helpful and transparent both times I have needed to ship / print.
