9/2016 - In July I applied for a Notary's license via Notary Public Underwriters and because it was taking so long I called to check on the status. The gal that answered the phone was rude and lacked professionalism. To add insult she mentioned I had a record that is why they were having such a hard time with my application. I was so furious with her comment. I remember telling her you need to be careful what you say to someone because that is entirely false. Of course I received my notary license shortly thereafter. Now several months down the road I have to call the State of Texas to receive my certificate that was never ever mailed or emailed to me. They do not assist with anything except causing insults and delay with your application. Save yourself the headache and apply within your state yourself. IT's not worth the rudeness and lack of your self respect. They are the worst company to apply for a notary license I have ever worked with and will never do this again - this I promise.
