JoAnn saved the day! It is depressingly commonplace for the mortgage loan process to be a game of "hurry up and wait". I was working on a remote closing on my first home when the mortgage lender sent the packet, which needed to be notarized and over-nighted back in. Of course they waited until after 5 pm so the regular notaries were closed...Things were looking grim; we had until 6pm to read, and notarize and ship the packet if we were to make the overnight cut-off. We found JoAnn by web-search. She was able to meet us within 15 minutes at UPS store, quickly go over the packet with us, and notarize our closing documents on the spot. Thanks to JoAnn the house closed this week, and we made the shipping cut-off time to overnight our documents with about 2 minutes to spare. Thank you! Jay M.
