I googled mail stores near downtown Memphis and decided to use this one due to positive reviews. I had a number of framed artworks & photos which I packed in a box, and also a large, heavy metal sign (long but not tall or deep). I expected everything would be dumped into a huge box with lots of styrofoam peanuts but they essentially custom-made a cardboard box which held it all and minimized shipping costs! Plus they were very professional and friendly. I would definitely use this business again.

I love doing business at the Mail Center! I recently needed a huge backdrop for any event, and only had 3 days to design and receive (2) for the event. Always true to their professionalism it arrived designed and ready for the event ahead of schedule as ordered! I've been a customer here for over 10 years and the owners treat me like family. It is good to know that there are small businesses in this day and time that still have great customer service ethics like the mom and pop's businesses from long ago. They accept your packages for you and will give you a courtesy call to inform you that your packages have arrived. If you have an upcoming event and need a beautiful backdrop check with Mark at the Mail Center. Awesome design and quality work. I definitely recommend the Mail Center for all your shipping and packaging needs! I have been using the mail center for years. I have two mailboxes there for businesses I own. I send packages and faxes and get documents notarized at the Mail Center. Lisa is very friendly and takes very good care of us. She even calls me when she knows an important package has arrived. She helps with packing the items I ship and tells me how to save money when shipping. It is great to have a place that offers so many services and makes my life easier. I highly recommend the Mail Center for personal and small business mail and shipping services.

The only reason I used this place to mail is because i needed some documents notorized and I am now regreting even dealing with this place. The man who works there wasnt very friendly and made me feel like my documents werent ever going to get mailed and from the looks of it, he probably just threw my stuff in the trash because USPS never recieved anything with my tracking number. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere !

Aka ANYTIME MAILBOX - MAIL FORWARDING Horrible. 'PO Box Zone' or 'Virtual Post Mail' is a much better choice, and lower cost, and also allows users a physical box address (not a po box). I don't understand how such deeply incompetent people are allowed to work at this location. Sept of 2017, my rental box rcvd a check, i completed a forwarding request, after 8 days, i drove all the way from abq to hand pick up my check. Ive also had stolen easter cards that had cash in them. April May 2018 i wasnt notified of my vehicle registration. Thankfully i renewed my reg online. And surprise surprise, on my last forwarding i rcvd... there was the postcard from my home state for my registration, ALONG WITH over 20 pieces of mail that I checked for recycling, all the way back to 8 months prior. How did that happen? Currently, missing an item that tracking shows as delivered. Its obvious there is a thief at this location and someone that is very incompetent. The same person.... could be.

Love this place they are always so pleasant and very efficient. Ive been going there for couple of months after experince bad bad service at the North carefree post office staff there so cold and dont care for customer service. But the staff here so nice and very helpful and they make sure your packages have the right address and all set before mailing them. UPS delivered our package here since no one was home to sign. I went in on Monday morning to pick up the package, and explained the situation. The UPS site said the package was delivered to “The Mail Center” at 12:40 pm on Saturday. When I explained this to the gentleman at the front, he promptly said “we closed at 2:00 pm on Saturday, so we won’t have it yet”. Given the lack of logic with that statement (they closed 1 hour and 20 minutes after the package was delivered), I asked for an explanation. The gentleman was very rude/blunt and didn’t explain, just said it’s not here yet. When I said that doesn’t make much sense to me, he again, rudely, said he would double check. Well, he didn’t see it again so I was about to leave. Then, the female co-worker (much nicer lady) got the tracking number from me and started actually digging into the situation. Well, turns out my package WAS there on the shelf, and the guy was just being lazy and rude to a customer in need. That guy needs to learn customer service, as he witnessed the entire ordeal and never once apologized to me when he realized he was wrong. Poor customer service from him (taller, older white guy), but the lady was very nice and helpful. Glad I was persistent, otherwise I would’ve had to make a second trip up there because the employee can’t do his job!

So after calling ahead ask him gift for notary was on duty and their reply was simply yes I take the time out of my day to go to their location. When I get there I present them with the quick claim deed which is the instrument that I need notarized and he abruptly interrupts me and says he doesn't do Quick Claim Deed won't touch them. I've dealt with property over 10 years and never heard of such a thing when you are notarizing a document you're only a testing that the person signing is the person who they claim to be otherwise a notary has no liability I've taken the notary course I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. Needless to say they were extremely rude and such a waste of time so seeing if they don't check to make sure they're wasting your time you may want to ask if she will sign the document that you bring you never know because his reason sounded very asinine.

This is the best full-service mail center in Memphis. I've been to the Mail Center at least five times and they have always found me a good shipping service at a fair price. They can send packages and mail via USPS, UPS, or Fed-Ex. It's convenient to enter the destination and be able to see the prices and choose your service all in one place. You don't even have to compare prices before you go. They have computers to print documents, stationary, envelops, and everything else that you need to send a letter or package. In my experience, they are about 30% than Fed-Ex for most of these items and the people working there know a lot more about shipping and how to prepare your items. They have a notary service, which was ten dollars for one document when I used it. They take passport photos and took the time to read the instructions and verify the photos with me. Highly recommended!

This is my GO-TO place to ship everything. You may pay a dollar or two more, but the guy that owns this place is all about three things: Service, service, and service. If you leave unhappy, I honestly think there may be something wrong with you-- no offense, but he is that good. Small lines, if any line at all, and well worth not waiting in line at the P.O. for thirty minutes or more.
