While this notary was prompt in answering the phone near 5pm on a business day and seemed knowledgeable about the notarization process, she was also quick to quote me a fee of $20 to notarize a single business letter. :( As a notary public in other states and well versed in the costs associated with such a position, I insisted the fee should not exceed $5 for this service and she haggled me until she reached her bottom line of $8. My bottom line: Ridiculous and overcharged. This service is still worth $5 at most and is often done for free by a good notary. Her behavior was not professional and she attempted to take advantage of her public position. Shame. I will gladly go through the process of becoming a notary in TN rather than use this woman's notary public services.

I had to get one paper notarized and I googled her. I called her and she quoted me $40 for one paper. Was the paper extremely important? No. Was the paper some type of government paper? No. Now I'm a Navy Federal account holder, so normally I get my papers notarized for free at the branch. I'm from Washington DC (not that it matters) and even if I paid for it, it would be no more than $10 if that. So where she got the $40 estimate? I don't know, maybe she decided to take advantage of somebody from out of town. So I respectfully declined, now I'm sure all those other reviews are true but on today's date it wasn't that great of service for me.
