This bar sucks. It's 9:30 on a Saturday night and 3 out 4 of their bars are not open. The main bar is packed and it takes forever to get a drink. WHY IS THE OUTDOOR BAR AREA NOT OPEN!!!! We went out to the out door bar and there were two workers watching the Brewer game and they told us to go back inside and closed the outdoor area down.

We all had burgers and they were pretty good. My daughter got the sweet potato tater tots and loved them. My nephew raved over the XL tots. The service was fantastic. I didn't catch her name, but our waitress was very friendly and attentive without being overly so.

Nice outdoor area with a cute fire pit. They have a mechanical bull to ride as well. Mostly a college kid spot to go, some older adults are mixed in of course too

The food was great, but service was lacking. It was "seat yourself" and our server took a long time to come to us. The appetizer took awhile to come, also. After we got our food, the server got us one more refill on drinks, and we never saw her again. We had to go to the bar to get our tab paid for.

Sad to say their food quality has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY over the past few years. I used to love their fried pickle spears, now they are soggy and they changed the recipe for it and the sauce completely. It’s a dark restaurant as well, if you’re with a limited vision member of your party be advised.

Did a pick up order. Got there, and a blonde bartender gave me my bill and I paid over the total amount, she gave me my food and walked away and said have a good night, I couldn't even ask for my change back, she kept it. I've been a bartender for over 10 years, and that is something you DON'T do. Brisket was tough and chewy and I love cornbread but it tasted awful. Won't be back.

The food was very good. They have a lot of southern-style options. The homemade BBQ chips were great. I LOVE that their burgers are made with open-range beef, from hormone-free, vegetarian-fed happy cows. The night we went, the service was terrible. We'd ask for something (ex: ketchup), and she wouldn't be back to check on us for 15 minutes. Then when she came back she's see us and remember she was supposed to get us something, with a "oh yeah!" look on her face, and then actually go get it for us. This happened several times. We also waited a good 30 minutes for the check to arrive, and another 20 minutes for her to come back with our credit cards.

Didn't order food so cant say anything on that side but the bartender..... Where to begin, first off no clue how to pour a beer, broke health codes by reusing peoples glasses, using his personal bottle opener off his personal key ring from his pocket. Leaving beer faucet in beer, creates bacteria. Slamming glasses against beer faucet, all things a Bartender should of been taught not to do!! I hope management reads this and gets some training going on, if not I hope a health inspector reads this and fix this. I enjoy a good beer with no bacteria and flakes off faucet in my beer, ruining the flavor and spreading bacteria!

Had some good times there in the past. I most likely won't go back because the bouncers would not let my wife in. A friend of ours put her arm around my wife's neck and the bouncers said my wife was too drunk to enter. We previously had one drink at another place. Tried having a normal conversation with them and they wouldn't listen at all. Then they threatened to call the police if we didnt leave. I was confused by this because I was standing on the sidewalk (city property?). I used to love going to this place but most likely won't go back. The funny thing is after getting turned down for being too "drunk," she drove us home.

This place is aweful...we have gone here twice before concerts and the service sucks...stood for 15 min before anyone asked to help us to be told 1 hour wait for table so we decided just to grab a drink.a couple behind us got seated within 10 min..not sure why we were turned away. Plenty of other bars around to get drinks and spend my money will not go back

Workers are stuck up, drinks are overpriced, atmosphere would be a 0 star out of 5 if I could give it that. Usually have a blast anywhere I am but this place was a total buzz kill. Would absolutely NOT recommend, there are a bunch of other bars in the area that are so much better. Don't waste your time and money at this place.

Came here because my friend wanted to grab some good appetizers. The food is good, but the portions do not equal the price. We ordered nachos with a $2 up charge for BBQ brisket, no bbq sauce on the brisket and not enough brisket at all. For $12 I expect at least a decent amount of brisket, we only had 4-5 SMALL pieces. Again, portions do NOT equal price. Our "boneless wings" were not wings at all, but mostly breaded pieces of chicken with BBQ sauce in little pieces is not boneless wing. Soda to alcohol ratios are great, you def get what you pay for in that sense. Service is great.

This place is a joke for watching a game. 10 minutes into the 1st quarter of game 5 against the Celtics and they have a rerun of a Brewer game and couldn't figure out how to change the channel. Not the place to go if you want to kick back with some beers to watch sports.

We got Brisket BBQ and fries and wings. I don't know what the wings tasted like but it wasn't "wings". Hamburger maybe. This pic shows all of the fat that came off of my Brisket sandwich. I had to take it apart and eat it with a fork because I was getting so many bites that were 90% fat. The fries were cooked but barely. No crunch or anything. The "overdone tiny" ones were they only ones that were really cooked. I've been to the one in Madison and I really liked it so we are here while in Milwaukee. Bad decision!

Weekend atmosphere is completely different during the week. If you like country music and are all about the club scene, then Red Rock is right up your alley! Food is average. Price is reasonable. Drinks are served in a small glass mug. You can also ride a mechanical bull.

I was out on Water Street with my boyfriend and we thought we would stop by to listen to some country music as not a lot of bars play country downtown. The atmosphere was okay and so was the music until the DJ shouts out over the speakers "Where my white girls at?". It made me extremely uncomfortable and offended, I'm not sure the purpose behind that shout out or whatever it was but I will not be returning because of it.

Game night at the Red Rock is always a blast. Hundreds of gamer guys and gamer girls gather round their upstairs room to play board games galore. Once a month we get together, and we really tear it up. The staff is friendly and receptive of the group. The bartender keeps his shirt on, and does a really great job of making sure the patrons are happy. Join us for board games and more the 3rd Saturday of every month!

My last night before continuing my road trip and was recommended to come visit this place for my food blog but it failed. This place has a nice atmosphere and pretty good drink specials. I walk in and no one greeted me, no service and a bartender that will just look at you while you're at the bar and not offer a drink or welcome you. I paid 11 bucks for the parking only to go in walk around and experience the vibe and walk out to get back to my car. I know Milwaukee is better than this.

I ordered 2 orders of bonless wings, some tator tots and fries. I recieved the wings but not the fries. I open the box which weighs NOTHING. I see these tiny bonless wings. The taste was just horrible their the worst bonless wings I've ever had. And I'm not saying it because I was highly upset I paid 30 dollars to not recieve my side orders. It wasn't uber eats fault. It's the restaurants fault make sure you take orders the right way. I waited an hr when I could have just gone to Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm honestly never going to order from here nor from uber eats , First and last experience with both.

I went to this bar on December 31st 2017 for a New Years Eve event. They pre-sold tickets and stated those with tickets would be let in before 10:30 pm at which point they would open to the public. My group arrived at 10 pm and had to wait 40 minutes in line because for some reason they allowed people without tickets in early and were at capacity well before 10:30. The bouncers and those working gave no reason for this. With -20 wind chills this was handled very poorly. The management at this bar is nothing more than drunken frat guys. Lots of room for improvement.

I paid for a drink, was pulling out cash to tip the bartender and they poured out my drink because I wasn’t fast enough. The bartender girl yelled and the bouncers picked me up and physically threw me out of the building because I complained about my stolen drink. If you don’t tip fast enough you will be assaulted and kicked out. Worst bar I’ve been at in Milwaukee.

A giant picture of Johnny Cash giving the finger, on the website and inside the building, pretty much sums it up. I have a lot of respect for Johnny Cash and I doubt he would approve of how he is depicted here. Honestly speaking, the place smells like stale beer soaked into the wooden floor and most of the bands that play there are mediocre at best. No one has ever heard of them. Wild Planet Hospitality Group that owns and operates this place, for the past few years, is not very hospitable. I complained numerous times to them about two of their managers and no one there will lift one finger to get back to me. I’ve never seen anything like it. This place will physically throw people out without thinking twice about it. 100% serious. The building is very old and looks very old and decrepit.

Good place to go for food or drinks if it's not a weekend night. Turns into a who concert on Friday and Saturday nights though, and you can't hear yourself think inside. Just have to know what you're getting into, which is fine if you haven't already paid a cover charge.

This is a must. I’ve come here every time I’ve been to Milwaukee. This place is located in a great downtown party area and offers a lot. The food, beer and service are all on point. I like HOT so I tried the TCB wings (ghost pepper). Love them and was able to wash them down with some great Wisconsin brews.

My friend has a valid Iowa ID and they refused service after she's visited several times. They hesitated giving her ID to the police who did verify that it indeed is valid. She's been legal for a year. The new driver's licenses were only updated this year, so hers without the transparent feature is still completely current. This was rude and ruined her birthday celebration with her best friends. The staff needs to be updated on IDs from out of state, especially with a college campus a block away. This was ridiculous and unfounded. We are not returning. Toodles!

Stopped into this saloon before heading to Summerfest. The first barista was awesome! The second barista needed more training. Not only did this place get our food order wrong, but we wanted 40 minutes for the shuttle to summerfest. Coincidentally, we left in order to make it to Summerfest to see our favorite band, mind you it was raining, and we were an half hour walking distance from Summerfest, and ran into the shuttle driver. God is great!

I wouldn't recommend this place if you have an allergy. The server was informed but I was still served tainted food. When I tried speaking to her about it she tried convincing me I was wrong. I showed her and asked to speak to the manager. He tried convincing me I was wrong and after I showed him what was in my food...he blamed the kitchen staff. Completely disappointed in the lack of professionalism.
