Nice small town bar atmosphere. You are allowed to smoke inside, so plan to smell like it when you leave. Very friendly staff.

This place used to be the s***! Now not so much but it's still one of the better places to go in town if you want to get drunk or just have a nice time and listen to some karaoke. This is one of the only three bars in town nowadays so you really got to just get drunk at home I guess or have your own parties nowadays and hope the cops don't get called. I'm starting to wonder if this is over 200 characters yet cuz I need to get to that point so I can have that on my record there. Anywho the the Kanawha Lounge otherwise known as the K Lounge is a pretty good place they have an excellent cheese platter and plenty of choices on draft beer. Can we have all Burgers back please?

The K Lounge, as it's nicknamed, is very dark with somewhat low ceilings inside. At times the patronage is pretty seedy, but it's one of a few spots in town where local college students can go to drink. If college is in session, you're more likely to see students in the Lounge.

Drinks are expensive; NO HENNESSY?! COME ON, NOW!! The bartender was DJing while sneaking a cig break in the DJ booth with the lights out wasn't the greatest entertainment for the night.. Great sound system, great location, great interior design and layout for true CLUB-LIKE potential in a college environment like downtown Buckhannon. Get a DJ, Karaoke and a little lower drink prices in there and I think it's a 5 star from me.

Pretty terrible. On a busy weekend they only had two bartenders, and no actual DJ to play music people wanted to dance to. Generally disappointing, not a good atmosphere.
