Cool night club. Really nice bartenders and bouncers. Cool layout a well. However, ordered a rum and coke and it was mostly watered down for $10. I didn't buy another drink the rest of the night due to the huge rip off. I had fun otherwise.

Not a good experience at all, spent too much money for too little service. We got 2 VIP sections due to the owner telling us this would be the most exciting night and it was not what I expected at all. The bottles were super expensive, the security were lazy and aggressive. Multiple times we had to come get them to have remove others from our section. A jacket was stolen, the owner is a con artist and will sell you a dream not good service outside of the lovely waitress who tried everything in her power to please us. I would refer this place to anyone to expect bottle service more like the kind of place you bar hop to. 2/10 in my book WORST NIGHT CLUB IN DC

Not my favorite "club" to go to. Paid $40 for my wife and I to get in and it was tight and small and not like a living room at all. There are two places in the club that have a "living room" set up of couches and that sort and they are roped off for VIP. MY LIVING ROOM isn't exclusive like that. Wanna come over and have a beer? Come on, you won't have to pay to come or pay extra to sit on the couch. The music wasn't all that good either and the drinks were outrageously priced. We were there for an hour. Not worth $40+. I can't reply to the snarky comment from the owner, so I'll say it here. I know it's a night club, I guess the exclusivity and size were why I was so turned off by what the name implies. It wasn't comfortable or inviting in any way and I've been to night clubs in LA and NYC that have the feeling of comfort while also the dance floor for dancing. The place as a night club is fine, but the name doesn't fit. Secondly, I was with a group who were celebrating a birthday so trust me it wasn't my choice, but as an educated customer, you can be sure I won't be returning, especially now that I am more educated about the owner.

An ideal venue for the special event I attended which was a brunch. But 2 - 3 stars for the bar service. For some reason the first bartender I had to deal with waited on someone who approached the bar after I had been standing there for at least 30 seconds; and granted there was no crowd/wait after the person I was after, next. Then I had to wait for additional time, holding my hot plate of food because she had run out of champagne glasses which it figured that the same person she waited on haphazardly who should have been after me didn't constitute that type of glass for their drink. The next bartender had consistent service & was much better though. Also, wait staff took away my food plate as well as my less-than-half drunk Mimosa glass.

Living room is a good club however we saw a bartender who is tall has a grey and white beard and hair. He isn’t hard to miss cause of how tall he is. We saw him water down alcohol bottles at the bar. No wonder why there are so many reviews of drinks tasting like water. Me and friends experienced the same thing. Whatever you do NOT go to that bartender. Now we are skeptical of buying a table with bottles becauSe of what we saw. Living room needs more management.

The overall feel / vibe of Living room is four star experience. The reason they are only getting one star is as follows: We bought table service but were given a hard time about having 11 people (instead of the limit of 10 people.) Cool, I get it and appreciate you letting us bring an extra person in. When we arrive, our table is by the dance floor and the couch we are on is split between two tables in an L shape - hugging two walls. We have the bottom half of the L and another group who has not arrived gets the other side half of the L (if you can imagine what I'm trying to say.) The bouncers tell us when the other group arrives we have to stay on our half and frankly made a big deal about this - we say no problem. When the next group arrives they come with 25 people (counted as they walked in). After about a half an hour to an hour later we try to get bouncers involved as this group is taking over our area. Nothing is done and an altercation occurs where punches/elbows and drinks are thrown (no one is kicked out.) Even after our group is restrained - the other group continues to try to throw punches and taught our group and none of them were kicked out. I was sober throughout this whole event. Afterward, I find the head of security and tell him what I saw and how the problem revolves around putting two groups with tables so close to each other and not enforcing the limit. He said "yes I counted over 20 people in their group, we know its a problem." - but nothing was done. As the night continued, their group continued to come into our area and I notified the bouncers twice and nothing was done. I will not be returning and would tell you to take your money else ware. For paying $500+ for a table, I expect to have good service.

A close friend of mine went there with a group of friends on New Years Eve 2019. She was in the VIP area. It all seemed very nice. She had two mixed drinks. Her friends told her that her behavior grew more enthusiastic and she began dancing with many men but was also staggering. She vaguely remembers getting the second drink and that she had kept the drinks in her hand or in front of her. She has no real memory of the events after being receiving the second drink. Her friends told her she let men touch her (not like her) and was laughing a lot. Then she threw up in the corner and resumed dancing and partying. She vaguely remembers sitting down. Her friends say she then passed out in a chair. Because they were good friends they helped and carried her out. In a car going home she regained conscious only long enough to throw up again then passed out again. Placed on a bed in a woman's home she threw up again then passed out again. When she woke up she felt strangely weak and disoriented for about two days. Luckily she had good friends with her. With hindsight it is obvious someone there ruffied her mixed drinks. One of the friends had also gotten one of the mixed drinks (a cranberry juice concoction) but only drank a little of it before the first woman became unconscious. She too threw up that night and experienced some disorientation. Luckily nothing else happened and the women took care of each other.

It’s a laid back club. The Valet charges $40 to park your car in the garage and $60 if you want it curbside right out front. Personally, I think it was a ripoff. The music was okay, but the club is well maintained and clean. I’m glad I came, but don’t need to come back anytime soon.

I contacted living room regarding bottle service for a friends birthday party on Saturday December 8th 2018 and was given a quote on 2 bottles of vodka and a champagne bottle . This quote was supposed to include taxes and gratuity as discussed prior to the party's arrival. We showed up to find out that not only was the pricing much higher than quoted but also that the quantity of bottles for the amount spent was less than promised. Being my buddies birthday party I agreed to spend $500 more than what was initially agreed because we were already there and the party had already been planned for Living Room. The birthday party went on as birthday parties usually do until WALID KARIM (Head Promoter/ MC/ Part-time owner) walked past the table. I reached out to greet him at which point he immediately stepped back and asked a bouncer to escort me out of the venue. I was completely fine and had done nothing to provoke this response. The display was unbelievably childish. The exaggerated gestures and childish behavior was a little confusing at first until I realized why he had his panties in a bunch. There were several witnesses to the incident including the bouncers completely blindsided as to why he decided to kick me out of the venue. I had spent money on a friends birthday party, spent money on his employees in tip and gratuity and gotten kicked out halfway through the celebration for absolutely no reason that makes sense. So here's what happened.... A few weeks prior Walid was with a friend of his at the Casino and I ran into them. I said hi to Walid and said hi to his friend who decided not greet back. I asked why he was being uptight and wouldn't accept a greeting as a greeting and I guess he took offense. I assume since he was Walids friend Walid took offense and decided to ask security to have me escorted out. Security showed up, asked me what was going on, I explained the situation as it was and they left me alone. Walid kept pressing with other security members because he would not get what he wanted the first time. The story is he slapped his Casino member card on the table, looked at security and asked to have me kicked out. Kind of funny to security actually because this guy who would slap his card around is the last person to take care of them with any tip for service. Even worse than that is this spoiled child is crying over nothing. Anyways, enough with my rant. This is what got Walid Karims panties in a bunch at Living room. Enough to have him hold resentment against me and cut our birthday party short. I requested a full refund for the birthday party getting cut short and that was never granted. I reached out to several members of management to no avail. His behavior to me and everyone else around could be described as very disappointing to see especially from a person in his position. I can honestly say we've spent over $8000 in the past month at this establishment to get treated this way. I will not be visiting Living Room or any establishment he's directly involved with again. Neither will my friends.

Ambience was nice enough... Very small quarters around the patio bar area, and they closed the other bar(sending everyone to the right quarters) . Definitely a fire/safety hazard the day I was there. Drinks were affordable, and taste as they should. Bartendwrs were either inexperienced or just didn't care enough to maintain good order. Often hitting one side of the bar and ignoring the other until angry patrons started yelling. Sure this can be fixed with proper training..

Not sure if this was racially intended but they let everyone with caps jerseys in which does not follow the dress code and when I come with chinos, a black quarter sleeve shirt, and black vans they deny entrance. Very poor and disrespectful spot would never recommend this trashy institution.
