I visited this lounge twice during layovers to and from my destination. The first time was in mid afternoon - it was very packed & ppl were being turned away, but I was lucky enough to get in right before it hit capacity. There was a selection of self serve alcohol, wine & beer, coffee, tea, water and soft drinks available. The food selection in the afternoon seemed fine, some fruit & cheese, some sandwiches, hummus & pita, salad and pastries. In the evening it was pretty limited, but all tasted good. It's a nice lounge - very comfortable & the staff was constantly cleaning.

They wont let you in as a prestige select member. Even though they had room they wanted to make sure they had "space" for their own airline passengers. Not sure why they are on the preffered select program other then to take your money.

I actually ended up not entering the KLM lounge in Houston. The woman working in the front at 6:00 am on Friday, June 7 was rude and unfriendly. I was tired after a long overnight flight and was looking to rest at the lounge. I kindly told the woman that I would not like to use my free pass (Priority Pass) for my stay there. She rudely responded "you can do whatever you want" (I was the first person in line that day at the lounge). I asked her what the rate was and talking to me like I was asking a dumb question, she responded with the daily rate. I asked if there was a rate other than daily, because I was only staying a couple hours. She again responded in a rude way and I eventually told her that I did not need to be treated rudely as I am a paying customer and left. I hope KLM can coach their people on how to smile and be kind to guests. HORRIBLE service!!! I will try talking to the other person and see how that goes.

The lounge is accessed by having a KLM ticket or if you have lounge access via an international programme such as "Priority Pass". It can get most busy around lunchtime and the early evening. At peak times they are open about the fact they may not be able to admit lounge programme passes. There are a variety of beverages, including a number of alcoholic options - spirits, wine and beer. The food is less varied but satisfies hunger with hummous and pitta; bread; cookies (mostly carbs!) Overall, one of the best lounges we've been to.

It's better than the rest of the airport, but not good. Free snacks, wine, and a couple types of beer. They've got soup, hummus, raw veggies, small pastries, chips, and usually a couple of other snack foods. Has its own bathroom, and they're usually clean. Frequently crowded. Decent number of seats with power outlets.

Pretty crowded, and the food selection is minimal, however, the service is top notch and they try very hard to make you comfortable. It's also nice and quiet, so it's a decent relaxing place to chill between flights.

We always arrive 1 hour early to airport so we can take advantage of this cute, posh lounge! Always healthy snack options, today hummus, veggies, soup and salad! Of course salt and vinegar chips! Yummmm. We charge up, have some drinks and jet out of here! Always clean, and friendly staff! Off to Vegas! Mimosas were delish!

Receptionist isn’t attentive and it is not polite if you gave your credit card in her hand then she doesn’t returned it back in your hand as well... she throughout the card in the table instead of given it back nicely to my hand, there is a lack of Training! We asked for cleaning our table and nobody came, so we did it ! Very disappointed and really poor selection of food items, only salads and breads ... nothing else! Good selection of alcoholic drinks and teas. Average experience wasn’t good! To much to improve

As others reviews have mentioned, it's better than being at the terminal. I came in early hours so it was still very empty. There was oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, cereal, Bread, spreads and some toppings. A coffee machine, juices and some alcoholic beverages that you would pour yourself. Seating arrangement was comfortable but air conditioning a bit too cold and the acoustic is bad; you get to hear all the noises around. Ladies bathroom was one stall only.

The longe gets rather crowded in the late afternoons when their partner lounge Air France closes (5 pm). They always have cold Heineken in the fridge and small snacks. The selection never varies - two types of salads, hummus with pita bread, chips, and broccoli cheese soup. They also usually have a selection of Danish pastries. Not a bad place to wait for your next flight.

Conveniently located at the beginning of Concourse D. Relatively small lounge with a few small items to eat and a few mixed drinks, wine and beers. Overall limited selections, but very friendly staff and clean and comfortable environment.

Priority pass folks...don’t waste your time trying to use this lounge. It’s only good if you are actually a KLM member. If you have anything similar to Priority Pass - don’t waste your time. Both KLM and Air France lounges will “temporarily” be full..which is a LIE. I managed to get in one time and found it completely EMPTY! Only reason I know simply because I managed to get in 1 time and found it empty. I am a frequent traveler and this specific lounge is always “full” 365 days a year. Shame on you for not having some integrity and just not offer your lounge to Priority Pass members.

Quiet small lounge area in terminal D. Finger foods, soup, sandwiches drinks and alcohol are available. Very good wifi and comfortable seating. Easily accessed bathrooms and plugs in are available for laptops and other smart devices. Nice place to hang out away from the hustle and bustle of the airport.

The KLM lounge at IAH terminal D in Houston is a little bit too small relative to the demand by frequent flyers. Many business people come to Houston for oil and gas, medical or space industries. With some facilitation by the staff, there is usually still a seat to be found for everyone. Drinks and snacks are pretty nice. Good offer of newspapers as well.

8/11/2018 Nice lounge, but after a long day full with delays I rolled in 8:30 to grab a quiet night cap then I had a employee tell me I couldn’t sit here and turned off the tv I was watching, I guess he vacuumed early so I should be chastised. Didn’t really feel like arguing with him but it bothers me that I spend $ for this pass and get treated this way.

As lounges come and go, it's a decent lounge. Seating is somewhat limited (not a huge facility) but it wasn't packed like the United lounges can be. Positives: the staff keeps it pretty well cleaned and stocked. Dishes are collected frequently. WiFi is decent (though I didn't speed check it). Bar is serve yourself which is nice. Negatives: somewhat limited selection of beverages. The basics are there but not much more. Food was okay. Fine for a snack with salads and a small sandwich selection, 1 soup and some tortellini. Because the food is in one central cicular pillar, it gets a little cramped getting food. When full, I could see outlets being a challenge. Overall, it's a decent stop when you have a priority pass membership

They had crudite tray, salad, hummus with pita, pastries, wraps, and sandwiches. The only hot food was broccoli and cheese soup. There is a selection of juices and beverages. Definitely a quiet area to relax in before your flight. This is a Priority Pass lounge.

Handy to my gate which was good. I used my Priority Pass for the first time. Food was okay (finger food); don’t go in hungry though... stay out and eat at a restaurant. Drink selection average. The young man serving was so focused on showing me how to twirl the lime while mixing in the tonic he forgot the gin

This was my first experince in this lounge and quite frankly, I was stunned. It really does not feel like you are in the airport. Although I did not eat much, from what I tried, the food was fresh. There were constantly attendants cleaning or swapping trays. I felt welcome at the first hello. I will be back next time I am in Houston.

Great for alcohol choice, but the self serve food is pretty poor. Hard to get value for money in terms of paying for entry, unless you fancy a fair few beers! I'd recommend a restaurant in the terminal for a good bite to eat. Free WiFi, comfy seats and quiet are all good positives, along with power for a recharge.

I was satisfied with my short stay in here. It was quiet with comfortable seating. They have a small selection of beers and liquor which are self serve. For breakfast they have muffins and fruit. After breakfast they have small sandwiches, veggies, soup and some grains. It was more comfortable than waiting at the gate and that's what it's all about as far as I'm concerned

The staff was nice and friendly and the lounge is a nice place versus the main terminal waiting area. The bathrooms were a little run down and needed repairs. The seating was comfortable but nothing notable. Food selection is small and all food offerings were basic. This places beats hanging out in the terminol, but there are better food options outside. Come in if you want a private place to relax or have a drink.

Food was a little sparse for a lounge. No bar at this lounge, but you can self serve your own alcohol (a little limited). Greatest thing about this lounge is that it is super quiet, and located conveniently for D and E gates. You can get here from C gates relatively easily, but it is a bit of a hike, so give yourself some time.

Nice lounge and quick access. Lost a star because their service staff, while very attentive, were also very loud. The carts banged and rattled on the tile floor whenever they went past into the kitchen. Easy fix, just use softer rubber tires on the carts. Food and available drink options were good.

Small and cosy lounge. Can access with klm tickets or also diners card. Cannot use the klm petroleum card here. (Houston is not a petroleum destination..) Friendly staff. Not much snacks to eat, but plenty of drinks. A bit few available toilets.

This is a basic lounge, we came during breakfast hours and there's waffle, bagels, yogurts etc, basic but sufficient. Sitting area is comfortable. There's a clean single stall bathroom but the ventilation could be improved. The airport is quiet and we're lucky to be able to get in using priority pass.

Comfortable, nice staff, clean. I was hungry and they had run out of sandwiches already and it was only about 3pm. I snacked on salad and hummus and pita but ultimately had to leave the comfortable lounge to get real food. I would go back and do recommend it if you have a layover. Much quieter and more comfortable then waiting in the chairs at the gate.
