I'm Dr. Eric Serrano and regular night customer of Cosmos. I like the food and the treatment of their employees. The bartenders Luis, Ian, Omar and others treat customers very well. The chef Luis very attentive and excellent chef.On Sundays I'm out of the gym and regularly visit there with a guest, I never had trouble with muscle shirt , until today. Today they wouldn't let me in because the new Mens policy not to go in that kind of dress. I had a bad time with my guest.The new manager didn't offer me , as a regular customer a chance or a choice but to get the hell out of the place. If you are to be a first - class restaurant, you must act as a restaurant first, put the rules in a sign at the entrance. Offer to the regular clients an alternative like a shirt in what people learn about new changes. If you want to act as a restaurant, you must also change music to a more appropriate like lounge music , or relax music not hip hop. It was a disrespect from my guest that I had already spoken to him to eat there. I had in the car a T - shirt and I changed it. I didn't go anywhere else. The “restaurant “ or the Bar , must have a better understanding for the managers. I know the new manager who was a waiter at border foundry and act like doesn’t have a good training.

It was my husbands and I first time there and we walk in at 10:45pm. We sit at the bar and the waitress/bartender says the kitchen was closing at 11pm but the center grill would remain open. She then said she'd check with the kitchen and said that they were staying open late. I didn't want to inconvenience them so we said we'd come at another time. She insisted that we stay and order food. She asked us to sit at the tables and gave us menus to order food. Another waitress came by and took our drink order. When she came back with the drink we asked questions on the menu we were given only to be told the kitchen was closed. I told her what we were told and she was rude and sarcastic. My husband and I left our cocktails on the table and walked out! Horrible 1st and last time experienced!! Fyi the place is new yet looks very uninviting. The set up is very awkward and the waiters/waitresses need better customer service.

What can I say, drinks are amazing, the food is out of this world, great job to the cooks!!! Great job to the bartenders. It’s a nice place to go after work for happy hour, but if you want more club like atmosphere, stick around or go after 10pm. Shout out to the owners!!

Cosmos is one of my favorite bars to go to, the drinks are delicious, the food is amazing, staff is great, environment and music are great. The new place isn't the best, though, it's still small inside, not a lot of space to walk, though it's great the bartenders have a large area to work off of. Hopefully one day they can expand more!

The location is a little obscure but that somehow makes its more clubby. The new digs really showcase Laredo's glitterati with a bright airy interior. Nice large projection screens and generous servings, but I really loved the calamari and the panchos. The handsome bartenders are a plus as well and it's always good to see Dan the Man

I had a great experience at Cosmos Bar and Grill, I ordered the ahi tuna sliders. They were delicious and cooked perfectly. The beer was cold and service was excellent. Try the siracha mixed with ketchup on your sweet potato fries, it’s a perfect sweet and spicy combination.

Keep track of what you order because they will add charges. I left a good tip to a $200 order plus I was charged gratuity twice. The bartender had the balls to say why I was so difficult. I called them out and they did return one charge of the gratuity and said they fired the waitress. Never have I been back since nor will I ever. Thieves!

Came here during a work trip to Laredo. It is always difficult to find good places to eat without straying too much from the Jersey Vibe. Must I say, Amazing Oysters, Great Drinks, great food, great service. Look at that huge Salmon my friend got for dinner ! Ugh my little taste buddies are dancing with my inner fat girl. Great for happy hour and large groups. Oh! did I mention that they have a DJ towards the end of the week? Bartender Cecilia was super nice and quick. Will definitely be coming back if I'm ever back In town.

Place looks great. Food way over priced. !$10 Shrimp cocktail with 6 largeshrimp served in a martini glass with some little lettuce at the bottom. Half order nachos $8 and you get 8 chips. One crown drink and above was total $25 and change. Wait staff was good.

Loved the creativity and ingenuity that went into these dishes... Was even better that the chef himself was able to walk over to the bar and explain his favorite dishes and how he came up with each dish that isn't available anywhere else... Great food, even better experience.

Good service, and delicious food. However, I must point out that the owner and/or manager needs to learn what "Fish & Chips" means. For $18 a plate, I expect to get "chips"/French fries WITH my fish when I order "fish & chips" and not have the "chips" considered one of the two sides that accompany the meal. At Cosmos, "Fish & Chips" means only a plate of fried fish nuggets. Period. If you want your "chips"/French fries, you have to ask for them separately. Waaayyyy overpriced for what you get. Next time I want fish & chips I will head to Long John Silver's where they know what I'm talking about.

I am very upset to report that my card was charged unauthorized for an amount I was never even made aware of (after I had already closed out my tab.) I'm glad that I always keep track of my expenses and keep receipts because what was done is a lack of professionalism and customer/merchant confidentiality. Unfortunately this is not a first time issue with this business; it has happen to many acquaintance of mine and has even been categorized as a usual issue in this business. I don't know if it's the staff or an issue with miscommunication within the team itself but I felt that I needed to voice-out that if you visit this bar I suggest you pay CASH ONLY because having to deal with the backlash of banking reports and fraudulent claims after a what was suppose to be "a night to enjoy off"unfortunately really puts a burden on even something as simple as an evening out with friends. I want to make note that while the service seemed to be normal and cordial there is definitely some behind the scenes credit card fraud going on and I urge customers to be hyper vigilant with their method of payments.

Medium sized open spaced bar with not a lot of tables. Happy hour was from 6 to 8 with 1/2 priced appetizers. The margarita I ordered was slushy and weak. Took a long time to get a table so I ordered the calamari which was very good and a good size. By the time we got a table, I was full so I ordered the lamb and scallop appetizer which was delicious. Very good service.

Cosmos Bar and Grill is a Laredo staple. It’s one of the longest standing bars in this town for a reason. Dan the Man has not only taken on Laredo Tx as his home..he has completely submitted to the culture and has tremendous respect for the heritage of Laredo’s people. If you are looking for a classy night out without the judgement of a pretentious crowd this is the place to be!

The food was amazing, I had the chicken Rockefeller with a baker potato and it was perfect. I highly recommend it my girlfriend had the ham sandwich with fries she loved it to. It had a mellow atmosphere for lunch which we both enjoyed! Just hope they can improve on their service they seemed a bit under staffed only two waitress for about 15 people

I ordered oysters rockefellers ,the oysters were cold and tasted horrible. The food is over priced. The service was bad our waitress was to busy talking to the cook. I will not return to place. How sad what nice place but what do you expect when the owner is drinking and hang out with employees instead of making sure his customers are getting service .
