I can't believe I had never been to this place off South Congress. They had an amazing band playing salsa music all night and the atmosphere was great. People were showing off their salsa skills and the sitting area was a great place to sit back and admire. Overall, it's a great place to get away from the South Congress craziness and enjoy some really unique bands.

Went to see Dale Watson today on Sunday Mother's Day in the afternoon. HOWEVER WHEN WE CAME OUT FROM PARKING IN THEIR PARKING LOT, OUR BLACK TRUCK HAD BEEN KEYED!! TAKE A CAB OR DONT GO!! PREFERABLY DONT GO. NO CAMERAS AND THE STAFF IS WORTHLESS WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE!! STAY AWAY!! Cost YOU TOO MUCH IN THE END!!!

New venue that features the best Blues, Rhythm and blues, Swing and Honky Tonk style rock n roll artists in Austin. Great sound system, classy dive bar. Overall, crowd is older with some younger patrons scattered and somehow the former mentioned are not afraid to get down on the dance floor while the latter hang in the booths in the back while everyone mingles on the back patio.

Came here specifically to see Miss Lavelle White-I was blown away. She was incredible and I’m so glad I came while she was here. C-Boys is a legendary old school venue hosting nothing but the best performers. Do yourself a favor and come see some real music. Some performances require a cover at the door (cash only), but they have an atm machine outside. It’s a pretty small venue, but it fits the vibe and there’s plenty of spots to sit. There’s a full bar, friendly bar staff, occasional wait staff and a chill doorman.

If you are looking for a speakeasy in austin, check out c-boys on south congress. If you love jazz, soul, swing, or the vibes of a 30s joint, with low lighting, a stage, and a fun gritty vibe, then you can find it here. I recommend checking out the well known Jitterbug Vipers on Friday from 630-9. But any day of the week you can enjoy this venue. After 9pm, head out and upstairs to a another part the venue away from the live music. They have a food truck outside also, so grab a late snack and just relax outside.

Went to see Jane Ellen Bryants single release. This is an awesome band and she is an incredible vocalist, too bad the sound sucked so bad. A venue that touts itself as one of the top live music venues needs to get a better sound system or a sound person that knows how to run sound. Very disappointed as were many other patrons as well as the band members and their producer Frenchie Smith.

Drinks at C-Boys are pretty average-priced, with a vodka soda being $4. However, upstairs on the south side of the building is Jade Room, which charges a ridiculous $5.50 for a vodka soda. Also on the south side of the building is the Original New Orleans Po' Boy & Gumbo Shop trailer. Great bands at C-Boys, and reasonable cover charge if you actually end up paying one, which I didn't. Shiny, heart-shaped mirror at the bar, along with a turntable and records.

800 lbs of crawfish. 5,000 RSVPs. And we couldn't have done it without C-Boy's. A great venue, in a great location, with a great staff. Not only did they accommodate a line that lasted nearly all night, they allowed us to give Austin a "taste" of a real Cajun and Creole experience. We can't wait to head back for SXSW, and C-Boy's will be a must-visit for us. Thank for all the #LafayetteLove!

Formerly Trophy's, C-Boy's is one of the swankiest spots in Austin. Great bartenders and the place just has the coolest vibe. Very intimate indoor stage where you can see anyone from Jimmy Vaughan to Miss Lavelle White to 8 1/2 Souvenirs. The decor is perfect and the drinks are fine.

This place is freaking awesome. Its everything you want. Great drinks, Divey atmosphere, awesome live music (soul bands), Bartenders get to choose the vinyl they want to play (and they only get to play soul / r&B records, which is awesome. I've come here on a few dates and a few catch-ups and had a great time, each and every time. The first floor of the "joint" is a bar with a stage area and a great little patio out back with loads of seating. upstairs, they have a sexy lounge area (i remember it being all red). All in all, i really like this place and love coming back
