Nice place. Good soundsystem and nice patio. Nothing too extravagant but they have good shows here often. You can get veers for 4 or 5 dollars so not as bad as some other places around here where you gotta pay 7 or more.
Great music, good sound. Bar is not TOO crazy expensive. Enjoyed our Americana Fest shows in the venue. To mgmt... whatever air freshener or diodorizer your using reminds me of cheap cherry scented bathroom bowel cakes. Try something else.
Great venue for live music!
It was awesome first time going.my friend was lead singer. The black light velvets.Dominic
Great venue and awesome staff all around. Have a decent selection of about 6ish whiskey's. Great spot to check out a band. Like that there's a raised level, tables on the sides so you can see the stage. Long bar in the back easy to get to. They keep the A/C on, when I went in August I was pretty cold.
Solid music, awesome drinks, and bartenders are solid. Can’t ask for more
Music was great but not enough seating.
Fun atmosphere, not really any where to sit down
Awesome Band played it's just a shame that the show ended so early compared to other bands.
Great venue! There are 3 separate venues in one building.. the Mercy is the mid size one, holds about 500 people.. Saw JD Simo there and he was awesome! Check out his YouTube videos.. Very good acoustics, nice bar area and outdoor patio.. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to go before or after the show
Fun small venue but got hot really quickly as the concert went on.
Love attending shows here.
Had a blast! Bartender was great. Sandra Bullets at the High Watt was definitely the best part of the night. Hope to see them there again!
Always a great place to see music, friendly bar staff, and the security went out of their way to help my friend who has trouble walking up stairs. They were fantastic, thank you Mercy!
Air Conditioning needs to be improved
Wow what a venue Cool balcony Hard for uber to pick up Tobe Nwigwe wicked show Quebec get out of Canada
I wish there were some seats as this is a standing room only venue. You guessed it, I am an old at heart 33 year old who likes to sit for longer periods than standing (hint, my job requires me to stand for over 40 hrs a week).
Love this venue. Great spot to see a band when in Nashville. I’ve been 3 times now.
Nowhere to sit. Everything sticky. Great lighting. Fun lounge space away from speakers if you need a break, pool tables included. Great deck with nice views of the city.
This place has great shows! An awesome patio, and the best security staff. Andrew and Eron are the best!!
Staff should have been kind about demanding a passport in addition to a driver's license from an old Mom on a Tuesday night to see an 18+ show at 7:30pm. The screw you attitude was absolutely shocking. I was treated like a 16 year old busted with a stolen ID at a 21+ event. Despite that, my middle-aged self returned with my new passport as instructed. What the hell kind of way is that to treat your adult patrons with adult incomes on a weeknight as your market share shrinks by the day? Stop the snark and eye rolls. Not only that, but I met a lovely underaged girl on the smoking patio who explained how she got herself on the guest list and was never asked to show ID at the door. How did I meet this beautiful young girl? In the middle-aged mom crew I was hanging out with, one of us used to be her babysitter. Pretty cool huh! It was a reunion of children and elders, all drinking together under the same roof. She wasn't old enough to buy cigarettes - so I gave her some of MINE! There are a myriad of venues in town. If you're grown and you're ready to spend money at the bar, this isn't the place. They don't consistently card children, but watch out old ladies, they'll make sure to lay down the law on you. I don't buy the compliance defense. Review your security footage.
Great environment! Security staff is very nice and professional!
Was here for Bea Miller concert, it was epic. Loved it, this girl can sing. Beautiful soul, energetic personality. Mercy Lounge, is actually very specious, has a long bar, tall tables with tall stools in a platform for better view of the stage.
This is one of Nashville's best music spots! The array of talent that plays here is incredible. And the staff is very helpful - if you need anything, just ask security. They will always go out of their way to help everyone have the best night possible.
Def one of my favorite venues because it’s more intimate, great sight of the stage from anywhere in the room. The sound is great but one downer is the selection of beers. Went to a show the other night and they literally had two beers to chose from...on a packed night this really makes no sense. Overall, no complaints...Great staff and rad shows!!
Bar has a nice view, perfect size for a medium/small crowd, and staff were very on point. It can be a little hard to see the artist performing bc the stage isn’t that high compared to regular standing but it’s still a great venue.
Great lounge setup, excellent music choices played before the acts when on.
Excellent intimate venue.
Nice smaller music venue walkable distance from most of downtown.
Intimate venue means you're close to the stage and the bar at the same time! Great for small shows. Parking is limited but easy to pay and park for $5 typically.
Wouldn't like one of us in ID just expired, tried to renew online, he also had birth certificate and SS card, since he'd planned on doing renewal that day. But had to work late and it took time to get to show. So, they refused entry to a 50 something with plenty of ID. Tickets were over $20 each. And door person was rude, to several people while we were trying to fix issue. Wasted time, tickets and parking fee. Had good night, but no thanks to Mercy Lounge.
Nice venue but too small
A+ had a great time
Friendly staff- security was not overbearing like some venues. Could use some food options, other than a 1/2 empty vending machine. Sound was good.
My favorite music venue in Nashville! I call this place my second home. I always feel safe and welcomed!
A wonderful venue with a stage downstairs AND upstairs. Very comfortable. Great sound system, too!
Played a show here last night and the new security team were beyond helpful and very nice with all accommodations!! Very friendly and did their job well!! Way better than the old team!! Look forward to working with them again! Love this place.
Nice quaint location for an intimate show. I felt at home while out of town. Not too big, like Marathon music works. Not to small.
Kelsey lynn snow tha product castro nashville was lit
Fantastic concert with Pam Tillis for a great organization, Fire and EMS Behavioral Heath Alliance. The place has a great atmosphere and a relaxed vibe.
Erin and Andrew were two of the coolest people I've ever met. After realizing that my license was expired they told me how to go online and renew it so I wouldn't miss the concert. They were both super helpful too. Best concert I've ever been to! They both deserve raises!
Been going to the Cannery for a long time. It's always cool.
We've had our holiday party there two years in a row - it's a great, beautiful space. I love working with Penny Haas - she's wonderful!
Venue is great when there isn't another band playing cannery. Saw Tauk and DYNAMO and both bands put on a fantastic show, most people were dancing.
Great Venue, seen many epic concerts here!
Went for the Bea Miller it was a good but the drink situation was frustrating. To explain what happened - the bar area was 21 and up (no issues there) but you could not see the stage because the bar area is in another room... I thought to myself okay I'll grab my drink and then go the stage area - I was wrong you had to drink your drink the bar area. 21 and up were stamped but minors should have marked as well. Other than that had a good time.
Wonderful room to catch a live show. Mostly standing room with a few tables.
Pretty cool small venue
The Driver Era was FANTASTIC!!! Everything and more that I could've asked for!
Bar maid awesome. Atmosphere awesome. PARKING AWESOME AND CLOSE BUT EXPENSIVE.. To see a big name band there priceless. It was very personal and up close great place to see a band
It was a pretty intimate venue that had a really good atmosphere but could easily get lively with the right crowd.
From the purchase of the tickets (right price, easy transaction) to a very much appreciated personal touch, the Cannery Ballroom excelled. Having recently had a procedure for a disc problem in my back, the staff reserved a stool for me so I wouldn’t have to stand for the entire concert. Eron, the head of security, got my daughter and me in ahead of the crowd, secured the stool and a spot close but near the wall. He could not have been nicer or more hospitable. Thanks to everyone on the staff. I’ll seek out acts at Cannery/Mercy first always from here on.
This Place was awesome. Saw Dorothy and Jasmine Cain in the place was really filled up but nobody was impatient and pushing in acting like idiots. The drinks Pretty cold actually not that expensive for what it would be downtown Nashville parking is $5 outback but if he get there soon there's a small little parking lot off to the right of mercy Lounge as you pull land that you might be able to find a parking spot but good luck trying to get out when the show's over. Really great open venue check it out one of the best
I love the venue but it never sounds great. Usually too loud or the mix isn't quite right.
Fun venue for live music! Plenty of space to move around. Huge bar makes it easy to get drinks. Pretty good sound and sight lines no matter where you are in the audience.
Good place to see music. It would be nice if they turned the volume down a little though.
This was one of the best nights i’ve had in Nashville. I love the size of the venue and the sound is great. You can see the artist from anywhere in the place!
Cheap drinks, sweet jams and pretty easy parking.
Great place to see a show
My experience was somewhat unique as I was there for the Tenesee takeover and private concert with Jake Owen on stage. The atmosphere was electric and the staff fantastic. Thanks for the party guys. Truly a once in a lifetime party.
Had a great time at the wedding, beautiful place
I went for the Dean Lewis concert and loved the intimacy of the casual lounge. I didn't try any of the drinks, but the lighting and visibility were good. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the music was too loud. (I'm in my twenties) Great place for a small concert!
Went there for a Declan Mckenna Concert. Building is kinda tucked back and didn't notice the sign at first so it took us a minute.
Nice venue, it was a life saver that they provided free water!
Amazing venue. Great space. Good location.
Very loud with pretty poor mixing for a usually great acoustic soulful guitarist/singer. could really only hear bass drum/guitar wirh very muddy lead vocals, plus lots of feedback issues tonight. We left early, disappointing .Maybe they are better with mixing harder rock. The venue itself is nice with a great beer selection!
Great venue that features even greater artists. Staff is very friendly and plenty of parking options are available nearby.
Cozy joint
Great smaller live music venue. You will have to pay for parking but it will be worth it. The show I attended recently was only standing room no seats.
Small venue but cozy. Great atmosphere and the acoustics are good for the space.
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the Mercy Lounge as well as the music (why I went). Prep for a line waiting outside if you're new to it as I was.
Nice, clean, intimate without being claustrophobic, wonderful bar & bar staff. Good parking too.
The drinks were awful. I had a flat coke. My friend said the tonic in his gin and tonic was flat, too. The sound system really does the these up and coming artist a serious injustice. It's not that I am looking for an amazing performance. Just one where It sounds balancing matters. On group, had a guitar and two singers. How could you mess that up...well they did. The singers mics were flat like the drinks. Which was sad because even with that problem, the singer managed to harmonize.
idk who does the heating and air but those guys know whats up,hat's off to you guys,i mean the duct work is a work of art, need to be beside the mona Lisa.
Been to this place for years. I liked it then and I like it now!
Excellent small-show venue with retro feel and great skyline view from the patio
It was pretty cool.. they need more tables though
Very fun place to see a live band. The atmosphere was great, with a few tables and a dance space. The drinks were reasonably priced and the acoustics of the music traveled well through the room.
Came to see my favorite singer, The White Buffalo, and man was this venue perfect! Small intimate setting but with enough space to accommodate the approx. 200 people who were there for the show. Has an outdoor patio/deck area with a great view of the city and smoking area. Just an all around nice set up. Little hard to find if you're not from Nashville or your first time looking, but Google Maps got me there via car navigator and then walking directions via Maps. ( kudos Google) Drinks were very affordable as well considering they were during a performance, 4 dollars for a sixteen ounce Yuengling, not bad. Loved this experience and will definitely be back!
One of my favorite venues in Nashville. Always up and coming acts on the verge of breaking out & plenty of bands you've loved over the years. Decent drink prices, good sound, and good vibe. Worth checking out.
The show was great. The space was cozy. The exterior staff must have all been on their first day and they had zero training.
Decent sized venue but badly designed for shows with awkward pillars obscuring the view, raised areas with lower areas behind them and then a slightly dangerous stairwell in the middle of it all! Oh and you can only have alcoholic drinks in the bar area in the back room so can't drink and watch a band at the same time. Don't think it was designed to be a venue.
Fun place. Awesome space for a music venue
I love this place. I have been several time and it's always been a very nice clean and safe bar with lots of the most amazing bands.
Good venue for live music.
Great venue, excellent staff, bartenders, Security and managers. Definitely a place I dnt mind going
Intimate music venue with very little seating
Nice place. Saw Charley Crockett.
Sisterman was the highlight of the night, they were amazing!
Enjoyed an evening with Y&T. We arrived early and were able to get a table near the stage. Convenient bar, reasonable beer prices. The one disappointment was paying $21 for parking across the street only to see later $5 parking up the hill by The Mercy. We will know better next time. Highly recommend seeing a concert here. Staff and security were friendly and helpful.
Nice venue
Went here during a trade show. Great music and drinks
Staff was not very nice. Seemed that they had better places to be and did not want to help and be friendly. Nice venue run by a poor staff
Sounds system is great, security is very tense for a smaller venue hosting rock shows (so be aware), don't vape (noticeably at least people c'mon!) or act a fool or they will kick you out and have even saw them contact police. WAY TOO MANY PILLARS HAHA, but I guess the old building has to be held up some way. I'll be back!
This venue is wonderful. Good sound system, some barstools to sit on along the walls, nice patio to get some air. I suggest just buying your tickets in advance online so you don't have to stand in line and wait outside while ticketed folks walk right in. Got confused trying to find it... Cannery Row is well marked from the street, but it feels like you're going into a parking lot when you head to Mercy, which is back and behind the main structure at an angle.
Went to see a band with my daughter. Great place to go. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would go back next time I am in Nashville..
Bartenders and clerks were all amazing.
One of my favorite venues there doesn't seem to be a bad view unless you're stuck behind a pole the bartenders are really nice as well
The staff was really friendly and helpful. Nice venue to see a concert. We had a great time.
1st time I've been there but it was awesome!
Made us stand outside in the cold and rain. This place sucks. Don't visit this place. I'll try and add to this later but this place should be shut down.
Very spacious. Nice bartenders.
Hosting our annual Manhattan Experience with The Cannery Ballroom help elevate our event to the next level! From the beginning of the planning process Penny Haas guided us with her professional expertise and lead a team that executed our event flawlessly day of. From Spencer and his exceptional team of bartenders to Eron and his security team every detail was looked after. I could not be more thankful to the work that Penny and her team put in to leave us with an A+ event and planning experience!
Attended Mercy Lounge's New Year's Eve party. Had a blast! The staff and security team were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this venue to all!
One of three music venues in the same building at 1 Cannery Row. Not (yet) as storied as the Exit In, but next to the Ryman, this is the best music spot in Music City, USA.
Great venue for a more intimate musical experience. The sound was awesome and the employees are the best hands down!
Loved the brick walls and staircase. Stood at the front and at the back. Brick wall always was looking good. Tall security guards which is a plus but shots of whiskey are too much money. It's confusing.
Worked an event...staff was great. Penny was such a big help. Beautiful space for any event
This place is fun for live music... Great sound.. Good affordable drinks... Bartenders are nice.. I'll be back
I love this venue!! Small, intimate setting but great shows. Easy parking and well organized.
This place is amazing for concerts. Just watched Greta Van Fleet there and everything was top notch. Spencer the bartender was excellent!
Great place! But the seating was awful.
Had a nice band but the sound systems suck
Very nice facility. Small and a little bigger rooms that we saw were great for smaller shows. 15 bucks cover for some no names seems really expensive though. Also, the staff was kind of pushy. Not the bartender... He was awesome. The door folks were not interested in telling us about who was playing just getting us inside the door. We'd go back, just make sure to do better research about the bands playing.
Super cool venue and spacious
Not bad but alot of the steak or beef is like roast kinda pulled off but still good. There are more o g places in town I like better.
Is the rule there to stand around for awhile before you get a drink? I say this because I was the only one at the bar at times and nobody was there to help get a drink. .... Rihanna tribute night. However the talent playing that night was Unreal!
Great place to watch live music!
Awesome venue. Probably in my top 5 anywhere. Definitely one of the best in Nashville. Friendly staff, they go above and beyond. Great feel to the main room. Best of all on this trip was that even with the outside temp near 100 and a lot of bodies in the room, I was very comfortable, and I am rarely comfortable, usually overheated, but tonight was perfect. Great job. Would highly recommend.
Awesome venue! Intimate, wasnt too crowded. I would definitely go back. We saw the nirvanna tribute band they were great along with the opener!
Awesome venue. Great show last night Emily Wolfe and BlackPistolFire!
This venue was so cool!! Went to a H A L E Y R E I N H A R T concert and it was amazing and the bar is quite cheap for Nashville! You have to check it out and her out, AMA oh ng singer!!! The best.
Fun place. Nice place to see a band if it's not totally packed. Like the free self service water stands.
Music was overrated Crowd was. Excited Electric atmosphere Was expecting more seating Stand up total time
I like this venue. Get there early for good parking.
Love the Mercy Lounge especially on Tuesday nights. Convenient parking. Great prices on drinks in the show is top notch on Tuesday nights with the rock and roll residency.
Nice place with awesome bands. Bartenders were pretty cool too.
This was our second visit. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff.
