Good menu selection. Good was prepared well. Please and attentive staff. Process are good for what you are getting. I can't remember the last time I've been to a restaurant where there were multiple items that looked good on the menu. Been here before and I'm sure I'll be back again.

Wow! What an amazing place. Food perfectly prepared, quick service, amazing staff! Kaitlyn Scott were the best. Ate here 2 days in a row. Couldn't help it. A lot of place's to eat around but, when you find perfection there's no need. I read some of the reviews and honestly have no idea how they couldn't love it. Guess you can't make everyone happy. I will eat here again whenever I'm in Nashville. Thank you to the owners and managers for assembling a great staff and atmosphere.

What a jewel for Donelson! Popular with locals and airport travelers because of its great food and bar. They're open relatively late for this area which is great if you want quality food before 10pm. Happy hour specials 3-6 that includes a good wine list that's easy to navigate. Try the Prime Rib or the steak Oscar. Plenty of parking and a friendly staff complete the experience. Prices range between $15-$30 for apps and entrees.

First time at Darfons was yesterday. This restaurant really surprised me. I had a whiskey cocktail(nice refreshing cocktail), main dish was blackened trouts with sauteed spinach and grits. My mind was blown! Great flavors. Needless to say I will be bringing friends next time!

One of my FAVORITE places. Less expensive and "fancy", haven't been disappointed yet! The gnocchi is great, the pantry, the steaks, the drink selection, the Berkshire Pork Chop, the salads... all awesome. Another of my go-to places. LOVE finding great places outside the city!!

My sister and I had prime rib, cheesy grits, and the Brie appetizer. The apricot jam is delicious with the brie cheese. The waitress, Raven, was super nice. She made sure the food did not contain any of our allergies. She continued to refill our sweet tea and it never got low. The atmosphere was nice, as well.

A great place for a relaxed environment. The service was exceptional and the meal will certainly have me going back. I highly recommend the encrusted trout. Its lightly fried, and served with spinach. It is truely delicious!

Wow great food great service. Had the lamb chops, cooked to perfection at medium rare; paired with Talisker 10 a delicious single malt scotch. Darfons has an excellent drink menu. Options for any drinker, any occasion. This restaurant is on my list of best options in Nashville.

Huge fan! I ordered the kale salad with blackened salmon and it was delicious. I dont even like kale but it was so good - didn't even taste like kale. I'm a big fan of onions and garlic, and this place uses it in a lot of dishes. The bread is served with oil and a garlic salt accompaniment and it was so good. 5 stars!

A great place for friends to gather with awesome food and drinks. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Black Bean Dip was a little flavorless, but eatable. The waitress was good at keeping all our beverages full, but my wife was drinking Sprite and every time she would refill her cup with water. It was hilarious.

Very nice place for sure. I was not prepared for the prices as we went with a large group that had made reservations. Could not afford more than a salad and soup. I’m not a $35 steak girl. Had I done research before we went I would not have gone , just not my thing.

The food was excellent. The cocktails were delicious. My wife couldn't stop talking about her dressing on her salad which was a garlic type of vinaigrette. The bread pudding was high quality and amazing. Lastly our waiter Mike with the beard had an awesome personality and made for an excellent experience. So glad we stopped here

Great meal Staying at airport hotel on business. Didn't expect such an original menu and great atmosphere right by the airport. Had the pan seared scallops. Perfectly cooked. And they were willing to adjust sides for me since I'm gluten free. Thanks for making an out of towner feel at home

This is a casual setting restuarant with a class A menu. I had Steak Oscar and it was cooked perfectly. Wonderful dish. My husband had a rib-eye with grilled Sea Scallops on the side also cooked perfectly and tastes fantastic. If your in Nashville it's a must try!

This is usually the spot my girlfriends and I meet to catch up. I have been here about a dozen times, and it has never been a disappointment. Our servers have been quite patient when we end up chatting too much that it takes us a long time to figured out what to order. The Toasted Brie and Kale Salad is amazing!

My expectations for a restaurant near the airport were low. I was overwhelmingly surprised at the great food!! I am normally not a salmon fan but this was the best ever! Steak oscar was delicious and cooked perfectly. My cocktail was nice. Our server was awesome. I couldnt believe such great food at that price on a random late weeknight. Will be coming back this week.

Darfon's is eclectic and established. They have been a Nashville staple for decades. If you haven't heard of it yet maybe it's because we're going for well~kept~secret~local~favorite status. It's that good. And the drinks are spot on. Try the French Quarter Pasta if you like it spicy! Call ahead. Reservations aren't necessary but they're always busy.

When I called to make reservations for 12 people I had to wait 10 minutes on the phone until she spoke to her manager, and then I was disconnected. I called back and again placed on hold. I was not guaranteed a table for 12 , but 2 tables for 6 each. I could live with that, but when we showed up, they had a table for 12 ready. The very next day I called to make reservations for 6 people and they told me they could not provide me with that reservation. My friend called 1 minute later and bingo we had a reservation. I think you need to properly train your employees on how to take a reservation.

We were spending the night near the airport before an early morning flight on Sunday. Our hopes for a good dinner weren’t high, but we asked the hotel desk for a recommendation and Darfon’s was their top suggestion. We were able to get a last minute reservation for 6 pm. (The next available was 8:30). We showed up about 5 minutes early, were promptly seated and warmly greeted by our server. She took our order for drinks and appetizers. We shared The Pantry appetizer, which was delicious. Our amazing waitress, Becky, offered to take our order for entrees, or to give us time to enjoy the app first. It was refreshing not to be rushed! For our entrees, my husband ordered the New Zealand Lamb and I ordered Seared Tuna. Both were beautifully presented, delicious and more than either of us could finish. Becky brought the check, which was a very unexpected surprise... under $100 for appetizer, 2 entree’s and a bottle of wine. Darfon’s is a fine dining experience in an unexpected location for an unbelievable price. I will visit again when I’m in Nashville!

Without a doubt, this is a superior restaurant. We were in town from visiting Las Vegas. Our flight was late and getting our luggage took a long time. Needless to say, we'd had a very exhausting day. We arrived there rather late but there was still so many people there. We took that as a good sign. We were treated as though we were their only patrons. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He refreshed our beverages without having to ask and made sure we had that second glass of wine forthwith. The food was delectable! The prime rib melted in our mouths. My salad was so large that it was the next day's lunch too. My son who lives in Nashville told us that this was an exceptionally good restaurant and I wholeheartedly agreed.

Myself and four girlfriends have had several “Girls Night Out” at Darfon’s. We drink and eat in the bar area. The service and food is 4.5 stars. Everyone has given us friendly great service. I would give them a 5 although, one time the prime rib was not a good quality. The prices are a little higher than I would normally pay. The atmosphere is above an average restaurant.

We were pleasantly surprised with how good the food was! We were staying overnight before flying out and just wanted something close to our hotel. The BBQ salmon with strawberry sauce sounded interesting/strange, but was FANTASTIC! All four of us really enjoyed our food.

This place was absolutely fantastic. The wait was expected to be 30 minutes, but within 10 minutes we we seated. We were greeted by Garrett who gave excellent customer service. I ordered the salmon and what I got was very unique. It was topped with pineapple and oranges on top of sweet potatoes and spinach. It tasted absolutely amazing. I got the carrot cake for dessert and it surprised me how great it was. This restaurant is the best I've ever been to and I recommend anyone who wants a nice place to eat at eat here.

The waiters were nice and the food was fast to arrive even though it was crowded. But the food was horrible, especially for the price. I got Oscars steak medium rare, it came out closer to well done. It was terrible. The steak was stringy, which is a word id never think I'd use to describe a steak. Other than the food the experience was good, but too bad especially for the price. 2/5

The Embassy Suites recommended Darfons and we have been hooked for the last 7 years! Make sure you make reservation via their website or call! We were seated immediately after checking in with the hostess! We had Cruise as our server both Weds. and Fri. nights this week! He is just a really nice, genuine, caring guy! He is very knowledgeable about the entrees, made some exceptions for our sides, and always checked to make sure everything mer our expectations. My husband ordered the seared salmon both nights, and I had the prime rib and ribeye steak! The food was served timely, at the right temperature, and tasted delicious! Besides the fact that we could barely fit another bite in, we also ordered the cheesecake. Give them a shot! They will not disappoint, and they will become your go to as well! We know it takes a village and thank their team!

My steak was perfect, the environment was excellent, and our server was fantastic. I was delighted with the experience! As a Canadian, I chuckled at the the sign on the door about no guns allowed, I still find it strange. But the interior of Darfons is relaxing and enjoyable. As a business travelers, if you're staying in the hotels nearby, this is the perfect spot for your meals.

A hidden gem! In the middle of a busy area, but convenient to hotels and business districts. This is one of the Best restaurants Ever! Quality food, spectacular steak, wonderful service, a wonderful selection of beverages, and a moderate social atmosphere. Not quiet if that's what you want during the 6-8pm hours, but even then a very pleasant experience in dining! Five stars for dining and a wonderful experience!
