This Night Club is included in the category of Blues club.
Great place for blues and dancing. It’s a little tight, but that just adds to the ambiance. Cover was $5 to get in and well worth it. Drinks are reasonable.
Fantastic music, good food, and friendly service. $10 cover charge to get in, but the live music is more than worth it. Try the alligator. The server with blonde dreadlocks was awesome, fast, and friendly. I watched her rush around and work her tail off, but she remained friendly and awesome.
If you like Blues, you'll probably really enjoy this place. The quality of the music has been very good each time we've visited. The place is a bit small and can feel a bit cramped the way the seating is laid out. It is definitely worth a visit.
Love this place. Good food, drinks and atmosphere. House blues artist is top notch.
The live music is super loud. Dont expect to have ANY conversations there. Bar tender was really nice and the drinks were really good. There food, though narrow selection, was really good. The salad I ordered was probably the best I ever ate.
Awesome bar...great blues...terrific atmosphere! Love it!
If you're in Nashville, check this place out. Intimate club with top notch entertainment. Welcoming staff. Multiple levels.
I'll tell you what, every single bar I went to in Nashville had unbelievable talented musicians! Great music in every bar! I will give this same review for every bar I visited.
Straight food had a wonderful time everyone needs to stop here...
We stopped by Bourbon Street in the late afternoon early evening on a Saturday night. The vibe was really laid back with a blues guitarist and a guy with a giant tuba playing a fun set. The bar is kind of hidden in the back corner which causes some people traffic jams if you are looking for a drink. Perhaps it would have been easier to sit in the upstairs area but the view of the performers wouldn't have been as good I think. Overall, we had a nice few hours hanging out here
Very smooth and classy..only issue had to keep getting up and getting drinks at bar cause they have no waitress or waiters this was around 4pm on ssturday
They always have great music
Awesome atmosphere. Intimate. Awesome band the day I was there. Stacy mitchart band
It was not loude people were enjoyed the time. Beer was nice, too.
Way more fun than the nonsense on the strip. Amazing live music! Chill atmosphere
If you had enough of the Southern rock and country music the Bourbon St Blues Club is the bar to go. I was there three different nights (on different occasions) and always found the bands to be very entertaing and fun to Listen. High energy music. The bar staff is efficient and friendly.
After being in Nashville for a few days, I met my country music quota and last day needed something different. Concierge recommended and when I returned, tipped nicely. Was a great way to end the trip. Played everything from pop, r/b and blues and the music was spot on great. A better surprised is they didn't cheat you on drinks. No water down trying to conserve, let's just say I was glad it was walking distance from hotel. Next trip be sure to check it out, I take tips also.
The music was fantastic even though I went during a weeknight. The benders on stage came and think me personally for coming out. I will be returning soon.
It was fun. I went to see my older brother and his band perform there tonight, and I had a really nice time. They had a nice crowd and everyone really seemed to enjoy the music and the show. I had a really nice time and I am glad that I got to see them perform and hang out there again for an night.
One of the oldest and greatest bars in Nashville, none of that tourist attraction stuff
Drinks were a little cheaper here than other places, were liked that. They only had one table server so you have to go to the bar for drinks if you want them in a timely manner. The bartender was very nice. The music and atmosphere was good too.
Nice place slightly off the main drag that has a lot of character.
Awesome place for listening to the blues. Get there early since it tends to get packed.
Great music and atmosphere! Quite cheap also.
Great atmosphere... Music was lively and Bluesy!!! Great place to be on a saturday night... Make reservations in advance...
I walked past this for 3 days, and finally went in my last night in Nashville. This place was very cool! I wasnt hungry, but looked over the menu for good. It looked really good. Got a few drinks, those were good. The live band was awesome. They really did a good job. We went upstairs for a few songs to watch from another angle, and that was cool too.
BEST BAR IN DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE! #KILLENIT
The band put on a great. It was extremely crowded, so we didn't past the first set.
Friendly waitress was working hard. Someone must've called in. Catfish poboy was sub par with cold fries. Wouldn't go back for the food but I'm told the music at night is great. Ill take the Hammond B3 with a Leslie on the side.
One of the nicest Sunday afternoon I've spent in a long time. If you're in Nashville on Sunday afternoon go see Kenneth Wright play from 12 -3:30 he is truly enjoyable.
Entertainment was excellent. Food and service was very good.
Cool bar with good live music. Beer prices were good and the atmosphere was fun. Cool Nashville decor lines the walls.
Another fabulously fun night. Best live music to encourage dancing, singing and drinks. Love the atmosphere here. Best bar staff keeping the patrons happy.
Walked in late, blues music from Whitey Johnson, chicken wings and margaritas. Great vibe.
Delicious food and even better music and atmosphere!
Great music and great atmosphere. Very friendly place.
Went to see Super T! I had such a great time! The band rocked and the service was excellent. Will def. be back!
House band that plays Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday is outstanding!!!
Hole in the wall down Pinters Alley with good music and service! Cheaper drinks then bars on Broadway
First time walking around downtown Nashville and stopped into this haven. So good! I admit I was famished from all the walking and just sitting down was amazing. Still, with so much music all around and such a lively atmosphere you're sure to enjoy this spot!
Great little bar with outstanding food. On the trendy side but approachable and relaxed atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and engaging. Indoor and outdoor seating, near the old Slocum House in Old Town Fair Oaks.
Really enjoyed this place . So much so that we went here 3 times doing our visit. All musicians were great. Really enjoy Ping Rose and the Anti heroes.
Loved the vibe, music, and especially the food. Make sure to go upstairs. They also have live bands which is awesome! Worth your time and money.
Great service and fantastic music! I did get mugged for 40$ outside the bar but the fun I had trumps the robbery!
One of my favorite places to hear live music from some of the most talented of Nashville's music scene. Great atmosphere and drinks. The food that complements their drinks is amazing! Stacy Mitchart and his band!
Great place. Great food and drink. Great music. April and Haylie took great care of us.
Great atmosphere, great music, awesome drinks and delicious food!! Whenever we come to Tennessee we will be sure to visit again!!
If I could give this place no stars, I would. My experience here was horrible. It was a Thursday night around 10ish. My friend and I met some friends and walked in for a drink. We got ourselves a drink and my friend went to the bathroom. As I was waiting, the owner, whom ever she was, comes with a security guard and tells me to get out. I was very much confused because I had just ordered a drink and sat down. On this night all I wanted to do was hang out and have a drink with good music, since I’m also a musician. We left very confused. I would not recommend this place at all because of my experience. Hopefully the owner learns to explain herself better and treat people with dignity. If you go here, I hope you’re able to have a better experience than ours.
Place is really cool, has a great vibe. Great Talent performs here. Go with friends or loved one to enjoy a drink, a snack and good music. Food could be better tho.
A Bourbon street oasis in a sea of country music. Fun place. Music. Food. And drinks.
Best bar in Nashville. The Broadway scene is all the same and always overly crowded, accompany that with the endless tourist traffic and it's enough to make me avoid Broadway completely. Bourbon blues in printers alley is such a breath of fresh air with the best music in town. Skip the wannabe cowboy bars with average bands and go to bourbon blues.
Loved this place. Great music. Good food. Waitstaff excellent. Wish I could take home the gumbo
Awesome. You have to go there when in Nashville. Just a couple of blocks from Broadway. Music always good. Food good also.
Me and hubby & family friends went and had a BALL!!!!! Adult fun. Great food. AWESOME LIVE BANDS. A NASHVILLE MUST!!!!
We had the very best time. The music was great. Made the trip to Nashville worth it.
This place is awesome! Get a good band on stage and this place gets HOPPING! What a cool gem in Nashville!
Even on a Monday night this place was fantastic! Soulful music. Great vibe. The blackened catfish and fries sealed the deal.
Really fun place. Great music great band.
Great place to hang out and enjoy good times, good music and good food.
Love Bourbon Street. Great music and ambience. Food is amazing. You have to try the gumbo. Delicious!
What a cool little alley dive. It's a small venue which makes the setting more personal and alive. The place has a lot of character and personality. The bartenders are very attentive and makes regular rounds so you don't have to go to the bar for a drink or refill. The drinks are reasonably sized and priced. The live entertainment is great and mingles with the patrons from time to time. If you ever visit Nashville I would highly recommend visiting this bar before you go.
Great spot for drinks and live music. Mix of modern songs like Bruno Mars and classics like Stevie Ray Vaughn and gold soul music.
Great bar with amazing bands and awesome food. Was planning on staying for just a few hours and ended up staying the whole night. Kate our server was awesome. Place was packed and she was so efficient and kept the drinks coming.
This place ❤❤❤❤ Monday nights are my favorite! Corey Mac and the Blues jam afterward!! A bowl of gumbo please, and some fried okra, with an Abita Amber
Drinks were reasonable and live music was good. Food was also decent for appetizers had the alligator, wings, and fries and all were good. They have several musicians that play throughout the evening and we came relatively early and the place filled in quickly. All the music we heard was excellent blues and Memphis/New Orleans kind of feel. Staff was friendly and on point and would have no problem coming back again. Overall good experience
What a night!!! We truly enjoyed the music and environment last night. Great audience participation. We don’t know about the food but drink is pretty cheap. Will definitely be back!!!
Small, intimate bar. We were there as the last stop of a walking food tour in Nashville. The musician on stage, Big Monte, was amazing.
Great music, good food and drinks. Service was awesome
Really enjoyed every thing about this place, the atmosphere was wonderful right along with some amazing music I have suggested it to several ppl already
Good music and food. Recommend reserving seats on a busy night.
What a great place to see live music, very quaint and very lively. The atmosphere here is fabulous, so up close and personal.
This place is amazing! Music, ambience, friendly staff...I wanna give it a five stars but have to be honest here, the drinks are not great and for the price they should be somewhat decent. Maybe, I ordered the wrong cocktail...I can't have beer, trust me, I've been mourning that since I found out I'm allergic. ANYWAY, maybe it was an off day or new bartender. All I know is, I'm glad I ordered a bottle water because I had to water down the drink. Oh being strong wasn't the issue, the overly sweetness to it was the issue. I legit had a cup of liquid caramel that was supposed to be sweet tea vodka along with some mixers...in a tiny 6 oz cup that was mostly ice. I didn't try the food... so no comments on that. However, great tiny joint, amazing blues jam session when we went, ambience was legit cool nothing over pretentious, and staff welcoming as can be. I'd definitely go back but not order from their "cocktail" menu.
Great music. Typical bar food that is really very good. Service was fantastic!!
The Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar never disappoints. The drinks are good and reasonably priced, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and efficient. But the draw of the Boogie Bar is the amazing music emanating non stop. The Blues never sounded so good!! Gil Gann and Mike Doster will take you on a journey you’ll never forget and Derek St. Holmes is the epitome of a blues rockstar!! Just spent a week in Nashville, spending time at the Boogie Bar every day and wish I was there right now!!!
Didn’t eat here but in three nights in Nashville this place had the best live music - it was packed but the bar staff was incredibly quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to take in some good live shows!
Fun music and atmosphere a little off the beaten path
This is the best in Nashville. If you're in this city, you must go to Bourbon St.
We had the best service, hopefully you get as lucky as we did with Marina H. The band was great but she made our experience fabulous.
Fabulous and authentic music in a cool place full of southern vibes!
I had a Blast it was my first time going and I will definitely be back..That band is Great
Great music, beer, and food. Really nice second floor with a balcony. Felt like I was back in the Big Easy!
Love the vibe in here. It's a long narrow space, with an upstairs spanning the length - bar upstairs and down and wait staff will come around to refresh. Very intimate feeling with the band! We were there on a rainy Sunday afternoon in February. Good crowd and fantastic super talented band with a great crisp sound system. Saw some folks looking over a small menu, but we only had a drink. We will return!
Best and most fun club in Nashville by far. Make reservations in advance on website and get ready for a party. Went on 8-14-19 and Stacy Mitchhart blew the roof off. This band is world class. Great service and fair prices. Try NOLA Sweet Tea!!!
Highly recommend checking out this bar if you are in Nashville. Bars are located on each floor with an upper level viewing area to any bands playing downstairs. Decor definitely gives you some bourbon street NOLA vibes and the music is always great!!
Awesome music - friendly service and good food & drink. Was confused how to find our reserved seats as there was no one at the door but luckily a bartender helped us out. Definitely recommend if you like a New Orleans vibe.
OMG, I love this place! Blues music...hell yeah! And open jam night, the best thing ever!
Great music. Snuck in before the reservations kicked in and was pleasantly surprised by sitting right down. Did not catch the bands name but man could he hit the high note on the Sister Chrstian song from the 80's. Oh yeah and the food was great. Had the gumbo and enjoyed the flavor. 2 hurricanes later and we left the establishment a happy camper. Like to work thru that menu a little more. Might try some of that alligator bites. We dont have them swimming wild in Calif. Thanks for a great time.
This has easily become our new go to spot in Nashville! The atmosphere is so fun & we just love the live music. The bartenders are awesome & super friendly, no matter how busy.
Ended up here by accident while in Nashville & it turned out being one of my favorite things about the trip! The environment is great and the energy is so fun! Definitely something to check out. Oh, and the food was awesome too, along with the service, even with how busy it was. Can't wait to go back!
Some friends and I found this gem last night while out celebrating my birthday. Great place, drinks and entertainment! Will definitely go back when we are celebrating in Nashville!!
Cool place, great staff, laid back atmosphere. Kinda a chill spot in the chaos of Nashville
Great place to catch some blues and a cold one
Super lively joint, music was awesome and wait staff was on top of their game. Average age was about 35 that night, but everyone seemed to be having a great time. Alcohol and good music always helps with that for some reason...
Love this place. Wednesday nights with the Stacy Mitchart Band is the best. Food is great and reasonably priced. 5$ to reserve seats online is cheap enough and is my best advice as this place will sell out. You go you will go back again and again.
Fun place. It was a Thursday night and wasn't crowded. The band was pretty good and the drinks were average. We enjoyed the atmosphere and music. Would recommend this place and would come back.
Love to vibe out here to some blues!! #stacymitchart is the best
Excellent blues bar. New Orleans themed. The band will sometimes get up and walk through the bar as they play. Excellent experience!
Very nice venue... awesome live music
Great place! Delicious food Excellent customer service
Definitely a change up in Nashville. Great music and food. Just like New Orleans but in Nashville
I had such a great time and the food is also very good!
This bar/restaurant is a real find! Although we didn't go into the onsite restaurant, we ordered some food at the bar a few times and it was delicious. I personally love this place. Great place ✔ Food ✔ Service ✔ Drinks ✔ Dessert ✔
This is a wonderful place to experience the real Nashville not the tourist area. The music was great the drinks are nice strong and the people were local.
Great dive bar style location. Small place but multilevel seating with a stage in between the levels for perfect viewing. The night I went was open mic night. Different individuals who played different instruments came up all at once to create a band. Never been a part of that before and it was great! Open late and on the cheaper end for drink prices. It is down an alley which can be harder for first time individuals to find.
Nice but tight spot to move around. Music decent.
Good live music (all day long it seems), super sweet bar staff that makes you feel welcome. A local sent me here and I don't regret following his advice.
Classic dive, good ole boys rippin on stage. Off the alley
Stayed all night long! Loved the cat fish and fries! Entertainment was top notch! Cosy and friendly! Server on point! Up close and personal with the band!
The entertainer that we went to see was not there but his band was and they put on a hell of a show.
Such a good place with good "blues and boogie" music. The food is good and service is usually good... evem when it's crowded. Arrive early to get a good seat on a Saturday night.
Fried pickles, and catfish were so good. Loved the music. Definitely a bourbon street feel
This place needs A/C!!!! But the music is good and the atmosphere is great.
Great place to listen to live music while in Nashville. Bands for the week are posted outside. Crowded but everywhere is, line to get in moves fast. Food here is awesome as well.
I live 1687 miles away but I'm a regular here because I love it so much !
An oasis for anyone who isn't into the honky tonk scene. Live music was fantastic. Food was a little pricy for what it was but still worth it.
Phenomenal artist performing here constantly. Never a disappointment. Seating is great, make reservations in advance for best seating.
What a cool place! We only stopped by for a couple drinks but loved the vibe - and Nikki the bartender was awesome. In the two hours we were there several people came in just to say hi to her and stayed to have a drink. We'll definitely visit there on our next trip to Nashville!
Wonderful atmosphere! Great bands and drinks. Went on a Friday night. FYI they have a $10 cover charge after 9pm.
Always a favorite for the talent. Hard to get good seating where you can see the band & the seating isn't very comfortable. Always packed though so maybe it's just me.
So chill and I love the fact that they let locals sign up to play. Kinda like build a band
The best to see blues music. Some of the best musician in Nashville play on Monday nights!
Great food and drinks. Cheap beer. Fast and friendly staff. Had the pleasure to enjoy a fantastic live music performance by the Stacy Mitchart Band. It was a lively crowd and a very good atmosphere. So good in fact that we returned the very same night after having explored The District.
Love their Nola iced tea and voodoo chicken ❤
It was awesome, great atmosphere, great band, had a blast.
One of the coolest bars still open downtown
A really cool place with live music and strong drinks. Old school feel. We really enjoyed it
Absolutely love this place. The vibe is so great, the bands/performers are awesome. You’ll have a great time and enjoy some solid jazz
Music was great. Small but if you want great musicians to play music other than country, you're at the right spot. Especially for blues tunes
Small. Crowded. Some bad sight lines. But this place was by FAR my favorite spot in Nashville. Ambiance was perfect and the Stacy Mitchhart band was outstanding. Eventually moved to a seat right above the stage and stayed for 2 sets. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone who loves the Blues done correctly.
The musicans are just amazing! I love this place. Its real. Always a good time.
Excellent wings and po boys and good music.
Best night in Nashville drinks, music and staff are the best in Nashville.
My favorite bar during my visit. Great drinks, staff, atmosphere, and a nice break from all the country cover bands..l
Had a great time here. There was live music in the middle of the day on a Monday. It was a great place to mellow out, listen to some good music and have a few beers.
Great fun. A great band was playing. Nice selection of beers at the bar. The fried green tomatoes were the best I've ever had. Worth the wait in line.
Stopped in for lunch on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised by the live music. Fun interesting atmosphere with some great tasting food.
Great service, bartenders, drinks, the atmosphere is amazing and unique. The entertainment is too notch. We even ate late during a packed show and the food was brought out fast and was really good. Prices very fair and below most other bars in Nashville area. Can't go wrong here and it's off the crazy Broadway scene.
One of the best live jazz/blues place in Nashville. This place is lit.. Highly recommend. Visited this place on 08/24/19
Nicki you are the sweetest bartender! And listening to Big Monti rock out, the best way to end a great getaway. Thank you
We really enjoyed Bourbon Street. We loved the atmosphere, the music was great, and there was more of a local crowd. The service was good. The catfish and fries were good. The only negative was the fried green tomatoes. We did not care for them.
One of the best places for music in Nashville! Been here a number of times and never disappoints. Some nights there is a cover charge so go expecting that. Worth the $5!
Bizz & Everyday People performed.. amazing show!
Went on a Thursday night while exploring the area. Fun environment, older crowd yet still entertaining enough for us in the 20s. Live music, people dancing and friendly staff makes this a great visit.
Cozy spot for some non- country music. I happened to visit this place 2 nights in a row because it was SO much fun. Even though it is cozy atmosphere, the music gets hopping, and people are dancing. Both bands were excellent. Nice break from the tourist traps a few blocks away.
Hot, crowded everything was sticky low ceilings what a wonderful place. The band Biz and the people great soul rock blues rap they have it all, great brass and vocals and a super hot guitarist total fun
Great venue for close interaction with the performers, nice size hamburger, really enjoyed the barbecue one, extra large nice place to get cooled down in the heat.
Get ready for great music and close up experience
An unforgettable experience. The place gets pretty packed so find a good spot and keep the rounds coming. My friends and I love this place so much we spent 2 of our 4 nights here.
Fun place and great music. Don’t waste your money on reserved seats. Arrived 5 min before the 10:00 show and only was able to get 3 of our 5 seats. And don’t bother asking for the staff to help get people out of your seats, because that won’t happen. But otherwise the food is good, music is great, beers are cold so it’s worth the visit.
The venue the music the people and the staff. The ambiance screams happy. Of course the location and it being in Nashville helps A LOT. by far a great place amongst many that are amazing. This one in printers alley is top notch. On top of everything I left some goodies behind and they had them for me a few days later. #angels
Wow! Great music & service! Head to the back to stairs for upstairs - more space & another bar.
Laid back Blues and Boogie bar off the beaten track in Printer's Alley in downtown Nashville. Decor and vibe is all NOLA. Cajun menu and New Orleans inspired drinks. Good place to unwind and relax with some Blues music. Ladies beware when using the ladies room. The lights are on a sensor. Spend too long in the stall when no-one else is in the restroom and the lights will time out, leaving you in the dark.
Love this place ! Great blues bar
My favorite spot downtown, great music and drink prices that are reasonable
This is a No-Frills place that brings an amazing music. The only annoying thing is that all of their tables are reserved so you have to pack it in and they don't stop people at the door. I got there early and eventually I couldn't move. But it was totally worth battling the crowds to see very talented people. And their drinks are surprisingly reasonable! I just wouldn't eat here...
Cover charge $10 is a little much, due to the establishment being a tad bit overrated. However, the catfish bites were pretty tasty!
Only had about half of an hour to check out some place in Printers Alley. This was the only place at 4 in the afternoon that seemed to have some live music. Had a quick drink and listened to some great Blues! Look forward to going back when I'm back in town and have more time!
The bands we heard we both excellent and the food was good as well.
