I would recommend avoiding this place and choosing somewhere else. I have almost never had a good customer service experience and today I had the worst yet. Our order was rushed, to a certain degree this was expected because we got there right before lunch ended but it was all downhill from that point forward. The last person to be seated at our table didn't get the drink he ordered until after his food arrived. One person at our table was brought something she didn't order and had to tell the waitstaff and manager 4 times before it was corrected and the server argued with her and told her she ordered wrong. The table was crowded with dishes and cups because appetizers and entrees were delivered at the same time. She never checked on us or cleared dishes so it remained this way our entire visit. She didn't ask how we wanted our check and broke it up by person without clarifying who was paying for what. She didn't ask if we needed boxes. What put this visit in the "I'm never coming here again" territory was the manager observed the server being rude and made excuses for her. When called back before we paid he was as unhelpful and as rude as the server.

Good food, poor service. The service wasn't that terrible. However, we were seated at a dirty table. Told the waitress that it was dirty, and she seemed annoyed that she had to wipe it down. We told her nicely too. They were out of certain foods - and told us they didn't have it after we had ordered our food. It was my son's birthday, I asked if they did anything special for it: sing a song, special dessert, ect. They told us "no," That was a bit disappointing. The witness was really bad about clearing off the table, so the entire meal the plates built up and were in the way. She finally took them away after we finished our food, and wanted the bill. The food was fast, hot, pretty good. Witness could've been better, though she was nice and wished my son a happy birthday.

It was packed when we were there. But our waitress was happy & very nice . Took our order. Gave suggestions & our appetizer came within 7 minutes or so. The food came out in 15- 20 minutes very Delicious. Very Happy will return for sure.

The service was great but the food wasn't as good as other Applebee's. I don't know if it's because they took off the old fajitas and replaced them with these new"loaded fajitas" nothing special rice wasn't cooked and the queso wasn't all that special I didn't care for the addition of bacon. My husband had the shrimp ones and he said they was nothing special about them or worth the price. We probably won't go back. My husband isn't one for giving places a second chance.

My wife and I went to Applebee's with the hope of being able to enjoy there unlimited chicken tenders, riblets, and shrimp. After waiting a half hour we were finally seated just to be told by the waitress that they were are out of riblets and Pepsi. We would've went elsewhere if we would've been advised ahead of time.

Ordered food, never received appetizer. Waitress told us wings were in the window, she was waiting on someone to hand them to her, guess it was to much to grab them herself. After sitting for an hour listening to the annoying alarm at the back door continuing to go off & seeing 3 tables that came in after us receive their food 1st, I finally decided to get up & walk out w/ out having 1 bite of food. As we were leaving our food was being walked to the table, appetizer was actually being walked out after the main course.

I ate at the Applebees in Rapid City on 10/31. our service was slow to say the least. I realize it was Halloween but the restaurant was not full and staff were standing around by the ramp to the restroom. Our server had a passive or dismissive type attitude. When ordering we were clear to specify no mushrooms to which the waitress replied "what about onions, are they ok? and roasted potatoes are they ok?" the reply was they are fine. When the food arrived it had mushrooms. We had to ask several times for a box and our check. during this long wait at a table that was not pre-bussed several staff including a manager, with a football Jersey, walked by ignoring our table packed with plates. I have pics if interested. If I figure out how to post them they will be on here.

The beer special was affordable, the beer was tasty, paired week with the ribs. Though well cooked and seasoned it was a lil dry. I was upset they removed asparagus from the menu. The broccoli was soft but I learned most of their customers want out like that and next time I need to tell them I want it crunchy.

Sat at the bar for lunch, ordered a margarita with my meal. My food came and i finished everything and even though there were myself and a couple sitting at the I never got my drink. I thanked the bartender lady for not charging me for it when I got my check and she apologized telling me "next time your in I'll make you the best margarita you've ever had" I won't be back tho. I would have let the manager know but he was busy playing on his phone and joking with the servers.

It sucked. Waited at our table tonight for 30 minutes locking eye contact and trying to get the attention of at minimum 5 servers or bussers. We never got drinks or any attention at all, but every table/booth surrounding us did get water refills and drinks and food. No one bothered to drop by the whole half hour. Would not recommend. If I could give zero stars, I would. Horrible experience.

So, I'm going to preface this with the following: yes, I went to Applebee's. I know what sort of place Applebee's is. Had I had a typical Applebee's experience, I'd have rated 5 stars. With the disclaimer out of the way, I'll get to the details, in chronological order. We arrived to a moderately busy restaurant, I'd estimate 70% of the tables were occupied. There were a decent handful of wait staff working. It took around 10 minutes for an acknowledgement from the host, and another 5-10 before we were seated (should have left at this stage). Upon seating, our waitress introduced herself and was very nice, she then took our drink orders. She returned with our drinks and rushed us through our meal order. We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese as an appetizer, a half rack of ribs with the 4 cheese Mac and cheese with bacon, and garlic mashed potatoes for one meal, and cedar salmon with maple mustard glaze with fries and broccoli. The pretzels were served hot. The cheese was room temperature. No appetizer plates were provided. We tried our best to clean the pretzel salt from the table and not leave it to the poor folks bussing the table. The Dijon mustard was also spilled all over the place (not a huge deal, but worth a mention). When the food was served, the salmon was very overcooked. The thin end of the filet was rock hard. The glaze was ice cold. The fries were decent and crispy. Some of the broccoli looked a bit sad, but nothing horrendous. The ribs were as expected. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. The bacon Mac and cheese (for which I paid an upcharge) included no bacon and consisted of what seemed to be Alfredo sauce and microwave melted shredded cheese served atop some very sad, soggy, and overcooked penne. At the end of the meal, we asked for our check. We didn't dare find out what dessert would entail. It took around 20 minutes for us to receive our check. We paid, tipped (the waitress was fine overall, I don't think the waitstaff have any real direction or leadership) and left. 2 stars because nobody fell ill from the food. I once read an article that said 'Millennials are killing Applebee's'. I wholeheartedly disagree; Applebee's is its own hangman.

Parking was a breeze. A little busy but we had a party of 7 and we got seated right away. The facility was clean. Flat screens everywhere. Came here on a Sunday and it was an excellent experience. I ordered the new whiskey bacon burger and it was absolutely fantastic. I was so disappointed in everything at this restaurant. It took a hour to get any of our food and all that was brought out was only my sons food and he was done with it before the rest got any of their food. Our main corse came out before our appetizers. My salad came after my food. When we asked about it they acted like we were bothering them. We were there for 2 hours and only maybe 30 mins was us actually eating. We will never go back. Went for a lunch date with my daughter. The weather outside was frightful and we were the only table in the place when we were seated. Our waitress was friendly but forgot as many things as she remembered. When reminded, she repeated the excuse "when it's slow, I get forgetful." I was told my sides were $2.99 but when the check came, they were $3.99. Ribs and potato were good but the shrimp was under-cooked and the steak was as tough as I've ever had. For a $65 lunch check, I expect better all-around.

The food is great almost every time I go, but the service is almost always absolutely terrible. I have had one good server at this Applebee’s location, he was lovely. My last experience at this Applebee’s location was ridiculous. Not only did my food come out cold, but I had to ask my waitress several times for simple things such as refills, dipping sauce, etc. spoke to a manager, and he was very nice… Wasn’t looking to get any money taken off of the bills although he did comp us anyways. We just wanted him to know that his server was awful.

He even discounted my ticket for the issue. This was such a wonderful experience. The spinach artichoke dip is fantastic and so was my frozen strawberry summer drink! Not only did Travis fix my issue but he was very helpful and a great conversationalist! Will be going back!!

My waitress Gabby, was great. Unfortunately the food was far from the standard that I get from other Applebees. Our ribs were burnt. I wanted to substitute one of my sides for a child's Kraft mac and cheese to give to my two year old. The manager here refused to allow it. Obviously, she is a useless manager lacking good customer service skills. At other Applebees locations, I've never have a probing substituting for the Kraft Mac n Cheese. I will never eat here again and neither will the local guest that I was entertaining. Not sure the managers name but, she was useless. My visit was on Saturday, September 17 around 4:30pm.

FIRST baked potato I got was burnt. SECOND baked potato that was brought to me was burnt even worse. Waitress told us they burnt the whole batch, so would I like something else. Shouldn't have brought 1st, let alone 2nd one out since knew burnt. I asked for medium well steak and it was pretty much well done. They did give me discount for the potato, but just not an enjoyable meal

Usually great service & food but last visit was a total zero except for our waitress. Checked on us often & did what she could do to make our dinner worth the price. I just figured they might have hired someone new & just didn't have the "hang" of cooking yet so didn't complain. We'll wait and try it again in a couple of months. Cause usually the food is awesome.

This place is terrible! Myself and 8 of our friends went to have a great brunch together as we haven't seen each other in a very long time. 4 of us ordered the Four Cheese Mac and Cheese and Chicken Tenders, with the same result in each...the chicken 'tenders' were the size of gizzards at best. In fact, it seemed they were more breading then meat. The parsley was dumped in one pile on our plates. When we complained to the manager about our meal, he had no care or concern in our complaint. He simply told us that it was proportioned and looked like it was supposed to. So we opened the menu to the section in which he agreed the meal looked the same as the image, but it was far from. He dismissed us and said deal with it, without even an apology. In a customer service job, if nothing else, some sort of solution should have been offered. Either to refund the meal, add more chicken, or validate the inappropriate standard of the meal would've been respectable. I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant in my entire life and definitely will never return to an Applebee's establishment if this is how they are training there managers to respond to their customers. It ruined our entire night and mood...

It took a long time to get our meal, the ribs were tough and burned, and the portion was small.... The manager got into an argument with a waitress. Applebees in RC SD, you can do better.

These location in Grand Rapids is is great!! Same as other locations around states! Good food & great service!! At these one is semi-defferent from other ones,I been to is that the dinning room has all TV screens around it!! Just passing through to eat here. It's Applebee's. You know what you're getting when you walk through the door. If you're wanting to experience something new or different, you ventured into the wrong place. If you'd rather have something you're comfortable with and have no surprises, this is the place. I will say, this particular Applebee's tends to do better overall than others I have visited.

Always ok. You either love something or hate it. I always like it. They do have wonton tacos that are amazing and so are their mixed drinks. I gave it a three stars bc I litteraly could never eat there and be fine with it. Or I can eat and be fine with it. GF likes it so we go there on occasion to break the same old restaurants. And while I'm there I always think of a better place I could have gone. So for me a solid three even though I've never had a bad experience there.

We went in during lunch time and had about a 15 minute wait for a table to seat 6. Food was good and fairly fast. We went for the all you can eat specials but ended up ordering something else. service was very good for being busy. The staff showed teamwork skills by assisting our server with bringing out or food.

Terrible service tonight, we arrived at 5:00 the restaurant was not busy. We ordered the pretzels with cheese it came to us, the spoon had obviously been previously used by someone else. We had them take it back and she said she will bring one right back.......well that did not happen. Another person in our party had ordered something with shrimp in it, did not come with any shrimp, they had to wait for them to bring that out. We asked numerous times for some dipping sauce, it did come......eventually after we had completed our meal. We never did receive our appetizer. Usually my experiences at Applebees is good, not tonight very poor service. It will be awhile before I go back.

We were there mid afternoon, service was poor,. My meat was cold, wife's steak was cooked to medium-rare, but not juciy and mouth watering. They replaced my riblets. We are ranchers and eat meat all the time, so we know what it should taste like. Usually a good place to eat. I think the shift was changing.

The only saving graces were our waitress and the food. Food was great and came out in a timely manner. The waitress was wonderful and attentive. We came in behind 2 groups, 1 of 2 and 1 of 5. Both were seated before which is to be expected. What is completely unacceptable is a bunch of groups came in after us and were seated before us. We were completely forgotten as we stood right by the stand as the people that came in after us were seated. It happened 3 times. Not impressed.

Need to fire the cook. Got a rack of ribs. They tasted like they came off someones plate the day before. I would say they were tough but that is an understatement. Pork ribs should not be hard to pull apart.. No wonder Applebees is having a hard time getting customers.

Our server was very good, as was the food. Our only complaint was that we had a party of 6 and they seated us at a small table then brought out the dinner just minutes after bringing the salad and there was no room. We had to put my son's salad plate on the shelf behind the table because he wanted to eat his dinner before it got cold. So they just need to work on the timing.

Good food overall. But... what is the point of the 3 course meal if it all comes out at once. Appetizers came out first two bites into it the salad comes out, took two bites from that and the main course come out. I let the waiter now he says sorry and he says the kitchen is busy, he just puts the order in. Table full of plates and didn’t even get half way trough the appetizer.

Our Chicken wings were all breading and no chicken, the salads were warm, we didnt get our other appetizer until the main course. The steak meal was mediocre and the bourbon chicken and shrimp with potatoes was burnt and dry. Never going back.
