Didn't love my food but this place is beautiful. We were there on a Monday so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Was able to look around and appreciate all the art. The manager even gave us a private tour. Back stage & all. Very cool right down to the bathrooms.

Whether you want to be inside or outside you will be well entertained and a well fed. If you're on vacation and looking for a one of those really fun drinks that you can't get at home, this is the place to go. Live music outside and plenty of Room to dance with an outside bar. They also have a shop where you can buy souvenirs that will make you lol! Can't wait to go back! It has a great Ambience!

Honestly not the best venue to see a show. If it's packed, it will be hard to get a good view of the stage if you are not on the floor or in a seat. The standing room only areas kind of suck, and I'm a pretty tall guy. Get there early if you don't have a special ticket. Great bands though, and the sound was really good.

There’s not a better inclusive option, especially for a multi-location entertainment & dining venue that is consistently outstanding in every category. Their booking is from all genres of music. That said the HOB Myrtle Beach is in a league of its own

I love this place I arranged for my friends birthday this past week end and they really did a great job. The staff was great , Bartender she was awesome ,she heard our concerns and fixed it right away. They even did a VIP for us on the deck for the bday celebration without me even asking. The managers were great . Especially Steve i believe his name was he helped me from the time I made my reservation until the time we left . The band and the atmosphere was peaceful and very enjoyable . we definitely want to bring our families to this place next time we come back .

Great breakfast buffet. Have been coming here for years and each time has been better than the others. Service was fantastic and enjoyed the atmosphere. Would recommend getting there early before the breakfast crowd starts.

Drove 4 hours, then stood outside in heat for another 4-5 hours. We were told the line into the fast pass would be in one location. It wound up being in a completely different place, so all of us that waited for hours got in behind all the ones that arrived hours late . When asking staff they said "we don't know what happened". Just poor respect to customers, especially when having to pay extra for fast pass.

I've had a lot of good times here. I wish it was bigger would be the only thing I would change. It's really the only place in Myrtle Beach you can go to hear a decent concert other than country music fest. I like the variety of people they bring in.

My husband and I along with some friends including one of which is a friend of the guys in Shinedown went to Myrtle Beach to see them in concert at the House of Blues. The inside of HOB is so funky with all the random artwork on the walls and watching the staff prepare for the night was cool to see how much goes in to getting the place set up and how well everyone works together. One of the things I noticed is that during the show Security guards along the front of the pit were passing out cups of ice water to the concert goers that were packed in. We were in the VIP room and had a security guard and waitress that was checking in with us both of which were upbeat and cool people. If you get the opportunity to take in a show definitely splurge on the good seats!

I went to the Nas concert and it was wonderful. The second level pew seats were perfect! Everyone from the patrons to the staff were very nice. Getting out of the parking lot wasn't too bad either because everyone was courteous by allowing you to cut in.

Great Venue for live music. I love the outside deck with free shows and reasonable drink prices. My only complaints are they have too many "tribute" bands in the music hall and the drink prices are pretty high over there. Overall, it is a great place and the best place to see live music since the Purple Gator shut down and the Pirate's Cove got new owners.

The deck at the house of blues for live music is fun. Nice outdoor area. Drinks and food. Wish they had a few more food options. Its a smokehouse menu. Pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket sandwiches. Only appetizers were nachos (not great, all topping just on top layer. Leaves u with tons of chips in a basket no toppings) and a soft pretzel With cheese. Smokehouse wings and maybe jalapeno peppers would be awesome addition. And maybe fries or onion rings to go with sandwiches. (Currently u get a bag of chips or fruit). Or a salad option. Would have ordered more food if they had more appetizers options to pick off of while listening to the music.

I’m a local and frequent the venues as well as the deck. Through the years there has always been an issue with bartenders charging more and more for drinks. Now it’s about the drinks themselves, they are watered down. Ordered a shot of Jose Cuervo which was served in such a tiny plastic cup which couldn’t even be considered a half shot. Happy f that isn’t bad enough, when I drank it it was mainly water. I asked for the manager and her response was it’s because it was chilled. WHATTTT. Watered down drinks are exactly that. Enough of this BS. NEVER AGAIN.

Loved this place! Sat at the bar while we waited for a table. Friendly staff and we didn't have to wait on drinks. The food was amazing! I had the pulled pork sandwich. The Memphis sauce was my favorite, but my sister in law and fiance both loved the Carolina sauce. Rest of the family had tacos, family fried chicken platter, ribs, and pulled pork. All of them had glowing reviews of their meals. Loved the atmosphere. Outside had live music. Definitely a highlight of our vacation!

The atmosphere here is very inviting and energetic. The food was delicious. I suggest the Foothills Flatbread. It's the perfect starter and is the same price as the actual appetizers. There's free live music and a cornhole board. We were leaving right as the band was getting into a set and they sounded really good. Be warned that a lady comes around offering to take a photo for a complementary postcard. When she returns to give you the postcard, she'll try to sell you other photos. We knew she was going to do that ahead of time because she was taking too many extra photos for just a postcard. Take the first one for the postcard however you want it to appear on the card and tell her you don't want to take anymore so that you can avoid the unnecessary haggling she tries to put you through. We were there to enjoy a meal and not get dickered. Otherwise, I recommend trying the HOB. Prices are a bit steep, but they are worth it.

We only spent time at the Deck for live music. Food was expensive and sub standard. Mixed drinks were very weak and beer supply was mainly domestic beers. The music quality was excellent as was the ambiance. If you are looking for a good music hangout to have a couple of beers I recommend the Deck.

Cant book bands other then tribute bands. They might have 1 known band come once every 2-3 months but 14 tribute bands in that time. You look at bands you like and they go to every HOB but this one. 11 PM curfew. So if band is delayed it's a quick set. Definitely was better in 90- early 2000s when they had good bands all the time

We had a fabulous experience at the House of Blues from the moment I booked our trip online to see Travis Tritt in concert. The HOB emailed me multiple coupons, perks and a dinner reservation prior to coming down. With all that taken care of, we were able to go straight to our table upon arrival, enjoy some really delicious dishes ( I highly recommend the BBQ Ribs) and obtain a front row spot for the packed show. I think this is a great place to see a live show, there isn't a bad view anywhere in the venue. Sound quality is excellent and its a really intimate atmosphere.. Drink prices aren't too bad and the staff was extremely friendly.

NO BLUES HERE!!. Food great. Service ok. Spoke with 2 managers and they rarely book blues. This is "The House of BLUES". WTF. Music was nice, but not why I drove 35 minutes for blues. This is a tourist town and how would I know what the names musicians play. I even called to ask about the music, and they said it was cover music, so expected cover of blues bands. Severely disappointed.

The outdoor deck with live music has great atmosphere. It's free to come in and has lots of open seating , which is quite comfortable. Good drinks. The food is quite lacking, the restaurant seems to have much greater selection and quality. Aside from that we'll be coming back to enjoy live bands.

The staff were very helpful and very polite. I tried a voodoo shrimp dish but wasn't that happy so the staff gladly offered me to get some thing else. This is an awesome place with a lot of history in it. A must visit location. Great people and lots of entertainment. And the bread pudding was to die for. Awesome!!!

Went for dinner with a party of 7-- Service was a little slow at one point, then rushed (after a long wait, apps finally arrived followed by entrees less than 5 minutes later), but food was delicious! After dinner we went out to the deck which had a live band and and a really cool atmosphere but we also had tickets to the venue where they also had a band which was great. Would recommend all 3.

Great little venue in the Myrtle Beach area. The space is two stories tall. There is a lower level of just standing room and the upper level has a small selection of seats you can pay extra for. The ticket prices are very fair but anything you hope to buy in the venue will be priced extremely high. Restrooms are extremely clean, especially for a concert venue, and there is an attendant in there throughout the show. All in all a good time should be expected.

I love this place as a venue, theres never a bad place to stand. Most of the time you can still get somewhere even if it's at the back by the bar and still see the stage. I feel like sometimes they oversell and get far too many people in the venue. Aside from that its perfect!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Do not make the mistake of eating here. EVER. We actually walked out before the entrees came, just couldn't wait more than the hour we waited since sitting down. That was after an hour wait to sit down. We spent time on the deck, drinks are terrible. Ordered nachos, please don't get them. It's what you would get at a gas station. Easily the worst restaurant experience I've had in years, maybe of all time. And just so you don't think this was an isolated incident, I will tell you that I saw and heard the manager at multiple tables around us apologizing.

Best breakfast in myrtle beach. Budget friendly this place is like and art museum. we felt like we were in New Orleans the whole time. Great music. Super friendly staff. Kept going back the the buffet for more. Even after we were stuffed we didn’t want to leave with so much stuff to look at. The gift shop had some awesome T-shirt’s that we got discounted due to eating there first and we got a free jar. If we had known about if before the end of our trip we’d have went back for dinner.

I was totally disappointed in the gospel brunch...not the performers because they were good...I am speaking soley about the food. Unfortunately, they kept running out of food so we had to wait for them to bring more out and by the time they did add more foods the food on our plates were cold. The omelet was decent. The salad was by far the best they offered. I was offended for having to pay $50 for a salad, though.

We came to look at the decor. We were met by a lovely, courteous waitress ( from Pennsylvania) who took the time to explain what the profile art on the ceilings were and that the beautiful ornate bar was from Al Capone's residence. I really appreciate staff who are knowledgeable about their place of business. Then Ryan, another staff person/ manager gave us a tour. He was so proud of the artwork, the concert hall and the legacy of musicians that have graced the stage. He went above and beyond our expectations! A real treat!

Love MBHOB!! My wife and I went to see HELLYEAH Celebration of Life tour there and it's a great venue. The smaller size makes for a more intimate feel for a show with such large name acts. The staff was professional and courteous, the food was good and the security was friendly professional and on the ball. Just a reminder, make sure you don't accidentally forget knife or anything that could be considered a weapon on your person because they do pat downs and utilize metal detectors prior to entry.

If you are going to have ADA reserved sections for people with disabilities then you need to make sure that those people are indeed disabled. 1st time here and even though our bar experience before the Classic experience was awesome, the bartenders at the concert venue were subpar at best. Most likely 1st and last time here. Super disappointed!

Great concert venue. Came here for my first concert years ago and every concert since have had a good time. They organize the lines in a good manor and are easy with getting people in. Tons of viewing areas with a raised stage so you can see. Wish more artists recognized Myrtle Beach and came here more often!

I give this place a 2 because the food was decent. Our server was friendly but not very welcoming. She brought my wife and I a glass of water to start with, which was nice. I ordered a Diet Pepsi and my wife stuck with the old trusty water with lemon. One double gulp into the Diet Pepsi and something seemed... off. I asked my wife to try it and she sniffed it once and didn't want to try it. She tried it reluctantly and took it from me and dared me to finish it. It tasted nothing like Pepsi and more so how cleaner smells. I didn't say anything and decided to stick with water. The waitress brought us a refill of water and my wife takes a drink only to see a gnat floating in it. We politely tell the waitress there is a gnat floating in her water. She quickly apologizes, giggles, then goes and gets another water. Before my wife took a drink she looked and sure enough there was another gnat. I know it wasn't the first one because she dug it out and I was still smeared on the edge of the table. Again the waitress gives a shallow apology, giggles, then goes into the kitchen this time and comes out with a water. Needless to say it wasn't drunk. I know accidents happen but no real apology or offer to make it right, but instead laughing about it. I felt was a little uncalled for. Besides if they can't keep bugs out of their water how can they keep bugs out of their food.

What an AMAZING venue!!! Top of my list for live concerts. So glad we stopped by for a show during our visit. Can't wait to go again.

We have visited this location many times over the years and it does not disappoint. Last time we came here was for the Gospel Brunch. Whilst not the same scale as the Florida location, the food was delicious and plentiful! They experimented with a 'Celebrity Chef' menu a few years back, but it seems they are back to the delicious classics. Great theming inside and out and plentiful parking on site.

Cool venue! Multiple bars in different areas. Good size dance floor. Stage was pretty long. Optional get in early for shows if you spend $25 on food or merchandise.

Great time tonight at House of Blues...saw the KISS tribute band "Strutter." Great rock show...and all ages were entertained! Love this venue no matter what city it's in.

Only giving 4 stars because the entertainment was wonderful! Kudos to the Craig Sorrells band! Otherwise the food was average ( got a none in my pulled chicken sandwich) and the service was slow!! The waitresses were very friendly but they apparently needed more waitresses. Very frustrating!

This House of Blues location is great! Very close to the intercoastal waterway by Barefoot. If you are looking for live music and fun outside seating, i would recommend visiting here. The deck is very unique with different types of seating from tables, chairs and outdoor couches while you can enjoy beverages and listen to the band. The outside bar itself is fun too! I also came here one morning for the buffet breakfast. Very good as well. Eggs made to order and buffet style breakfast. Drinks must but purchased as extras, but can't go wrong for their food. I'll definitely be back! Only negative I have as part of my experience here is the Deck(outside) allows smoking. Had to take one star off for this. As a non smoker and seeing families sitting at tables with children, it was annoying. This place would be a lot more classy without it.
