Just came back from vacation in Hilton Head with my fiancee and we had a great time, in general. We asked one of our drivers about a good place to get some drinks and have a bite and he suggested this place. We gave it a shot on our first night down there and had a blast... We had such a blast that we went back twice more during our 10 days down there! The ambiance of that place is amazing and the food was excellent. Our bartender was great as were the waitresses that we had on all occasions. One night we stayed for the after hours, too. Such a great time. I would def reccomend Crave by Daniel's to any and everyone! We will see you guys again soon!!!!

We had a great experience at Crave. I wish I remembered Jose's (bartender) drink recomendations - they were awesome. We shared a handful of different appatizers and salads and had a few drinks each. The service was excellent, everyone was really outgoing and sincere. If it wasn't our last night of vacation we would have definetly gone back.

Start off by saying that I did enjoy my food. I ordered the surf & turf for a pick up and upgraded to the mashed potatoes. The total ended up being I believe 43 and some change. I left a tip making it a total of 50(which I thought was generous considering it was a pick up order). I got home from vacation and was surprised to see my total was 60 for the order. A 16 dollar plus tip for to go order is crazy. Make sure to check your credit card bill after you order from this restaurant to make sure this does not happen to you.

I do not do a lot of reviews...but my wife, two kids, and I had the best experience at this place! We just happened to be walking past it when we talked to Gabriel (who was also our server) and made us feel so incredibly welcome even with our two rambunctious kiddos. I agree with the other reviews that it is pricey...but come on. You have to pay for high quality, and this food is the best we’ve had in the Coligny Beach area. Staff gets five stars. Beverages get five stars. Location gets five stars. Food gets six stars because it was that good. Groucho Filet was my favorite and the wife and kids want to go back for the Asian shrimp/lobster.

Wow! This is the best restaurant for tapas I have been to. The food was delicious and the liquor selection was plentiful. We ordered a few different plates (one from each region) and they were all very good. The atmosphere is beautiful and the bar looks amazing.

They are really great. My favorites are lettuce wrap scallops, lamb kabobs on a cinnamon stick and hummas made right at your table. Great steaks too. Try it you won't be disappointed.

The staff was friendly. We appreciated the clean and welcoming environment. My ribeye was, to my taste, a bit bland. Another steak we ordered medium rare came out medium. The staff was accommodating and made another on the spot, but it was rare. We enjoyed the sliders and local brew selection.

I must say this restaurant is simply delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing and staff is wonderful. I had the Moroccan Hariran soup, Hummus Platter, Cinnamon Lamb Kebob and the Orange & Dark Chocolate Lava Cake. The food was full of flavor and well prepared. I definitely recommend this restaurant. Oh and i can't forget the martinis, one word Amazing.

We were on a girls weekend. Just went in for drinks but the food looked and smelled so good. So we ordered some plates to share and it was amazing. Top notch service by every employee we encountered. Definitely going to return and recommend to family and friends.

A few weeks ago I was sent down to Hilton Head from Connecticut for some work training. I found Crave completely at random by googling food places near me while in my hotel (Hilton Garden). I ended up extremely glad that I had found it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was top notch. Sadly, I don't remember our servers name (she was great) but I did have the pleasure of meeting one of the managers I believe, Lisa. Lisa was both polite and knowledgeable about the venue and the menu. I will definitely be going back to this place everytime I take a trip down to Hilton Head!

Never even had a chance to sample the food. Arrived at 9 to be told that - despite that Google said the place is open until 10pm - the "evening is slow and we're closing early". Apparently, on the Hilton Head 'island time'. They're not the only ones like that.

If you have 2 and a half hours and want to spend +$90 on dinner for two than this is the place for you! We love great food and are generally willing to pay for it but the terrible service really ruined our experience. We were 1 of 3 tables at the entire restaurant and had to ask twice for our check which took 15 minutes to arrive. At one point there were 4 people standing behind the bar when I tried to get their attention to ask for more water they shouted across the entire restaurant to ask me what I needed. The food is good but only worth it if you have the time.

The atmosphere was cool, but it took forever for food to come out and when it did the seafood meal has squid which was not advertised on the menu. Half our entrees were not good. Pretty much only seafood dishes and steak were good. And they were out of everything and we had to pick something different a bunch of times. Our waiter was nice so thats a plus i guess? I wouldnt come back. For the price is wasnt a great experience.

awesome experience. we had a table of 11 and they took great care of us. The food is amazing, they have reasonably priced flights of wine and scotch, and the service was impeccable. duck wings are a must and the hummus is made right at your table, which is awesome. highly recommended if you visit Hilton head, a true experience.

This place is pretty unique on the island. Really diverse and tasty small plates. Bacon wrapped dates are awesome! Different flavors from all over the world. Great cocktails. Citrus mango mojito is my personal favorite.

We ordered small plates of lamb kabobs, chicken Tikka masala, crab & lobster stir fry, and a clam/oyster dish. It was enough food for my husband and me. The food was ok... Nothing special. It felt like a tourist trap area. If you're looking for great food, there are better options.

Corn chowder was thin with very little corn. Rib eye steak badly overcooked. Oysters were over fried. Very slow service and there were only three tables plus ours being waited on.

I definitely recommend this place if you want a nice meal for not to expensive. A very unique place compared to the normal restaurants. I would go there over and over if I could!

Thanks Crave for a great dining experience! The staff was attentive from the moment we arrived and were seated, with just enough "how is everything?" check-ins to make sure we had what we needed. We started with the summer corn chowder and the hummus tableside, prepared and presented well and a delicious beginning to our meal. The scallop lettuce wraps with mozzarella, tomato, and balsamic were heavenly, served at the right temperature and the combination of flavors exploding on the tongue! Thanks again for a great night! We'll be back!

I was looking for a nice quiet restaurant to bring my family to enjoy a light meal. I used the OpenTable app in Google maps and found a table and posted a reservation just in case. By the time we got there, not only had they gotten the reservation, they had the table set up and waiting for us. They have dishes inspired by India, Asia, America, Europe and the Mediterranean. The Big Small plates are larger than a traditional tapas but smaller than your typical American entree. Ordering several to share with a table is acceptable. If you're not in the sharing mood, they also have full sized Entrees here. The food was delicious across the board. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The staff was warm, and welcoming and attentive. The pictures below are the Summer Corn Chowder, Chili Fried Oysters (OMG, I could eat these all day!!), Stir-Fry Chicken Lettuce Wraps (a bit spicy), 12 oz. Hand trimmed Ribeye (AMAZING.. came with a house made Worcestershire sauce and delivered in a cute cow), Southern Fried Chicken Sliders (perfectly sized for my daughter) and the Scallop Lettuce Wraps (came with a bite sized square of deep fried mozzarella.. This one I could eat every day too) Disclaimer: I have no idea what order they posted in.. I'm assuming you're capable of deducing which is which..

The hostess was extremely welcoming, and accommodating. The menu is very extensive however many items were not available. The preparation time was long and when the food came out, a few dishes were cold. The portions are small, so if you have a hardy appetite this isn't your spot. The restaurant is cool on the inside, more like a club...maybe this is more their calling.

We thought the food and service were both excellent. We were able to experience flavors like no other restaurant. Plating was exciting and beautiful. The food was a little pricey but not outside what we expect to pay in Hilton Head when it's not a chain or low end place. Our only complaint was the amount of food. The menu clearly had an entree section and the other sections all had appetizers and sections called "Big small plates." My wife and I got an appetizer and a "Big small plate" item each, so 4 total items for 2 people. Our 18 month old son got the children's fried shrimp and fruit (it came with 7 popcorn shrimp, half a banana, and maybe 2 strawberries). My wife and I had one beer each, tipped 20% and paid $75 total. We were all left starving after. Again, food and service were great but this experience could've been so much better had the portions just been better. Unfortunately, we won't be back simply because that's too much to pay just to have to go grab a pizza after.

Came in tonight for dinner heard lots of people rave about this place so figured we would try it. Let me start by saying my husband and I are both in the culinary business and understand more than most that things happen but this was unacceptable. We came in at 515pm got drinks and ordered 4 dishes. I did inform them I have a seafood allergy. So about 30 minutes in we finally got our first dish I ordered the tortellini and my husband to the lamb kabobs. My husband's came out fine mine were ravioli. I asked the sever and she said yeah they are actually ravioli not tortellini I feel she should have mentioned this when we ordered plus it was cold. So we gave it the benefit of the doubt. The next dish came out was tuna so I could not share since my allergy but the sever said mine would be out soon. So I waited....15 minutes after my husband finished his I was still waiting the sever never said anything checked if wanted a drink nothing. We told the server to cancel it because it was 645 and we only had half or order. Sever just made and excuse on why my food was delayed it was just terrible. The only other thing that I want to put out there there was only two other table in the entire restaurant a four top that came in after us by at least 45 minutes had received all their food safe to say we wont be back.

My husband and I were there on July 6 at 8:30. We sat down ordered an app, coke and Diet Coke. Ten minutes later...the waiter literally didn’t come back another servicer saw us and asked if we ordered we said yes our drinks and apps were still waiting on our drinks. She was nice. She brought out the drinks. They tasted so bad, so she got us a sprite that even tasted bad but we left it. When our waiter came back finally after helping this others tables and ignoring us my husband ask what was wrong with their drink system he said they might be changing but they haven’t changed them because it was down stairs and it takes to long. I use to be a server I know how long it take one person had plenty of time to get it. I walked across the deck to the gift shop store and got us a drink so we could drink something during our meal. The app were okay. Not worth 16-18$. But it’s fine. Our food came out a strip and ribeye. That was not a strip it was a sirloin or just a terrible cut of meat . I was so mad at that time we got our check . We paid and left. So we will not be back, better luck at Texas Roadhouse or outback. So if you want slow/ bad service, bad cuts of meats, or drinks that taste just absolute nasty, this is the place.

They have good happy hour drink deals and the long island iced tea was actually tasty too. The food was good, not great or amazing but definitely good. It's somewhat overpriced only because the portions are rather small for it to not be amazing food. I would need above average quality or at least quantity to justify the expense but it just wasn't there. But it's a cool, chill, friendly environment. I would maybe stop in only for a drink if I'm in the area again.

My experience did not meet my expectations. My group ordered the fondue dessert but to our surprise when it arrived we found ourselves staring at shriveled up fruit, small portions, and cold chocolate. Moreover, the server was friendly but the wait time for our fondue and bill was too long.

The restaurant has a international theme where they serve food from various parts of the world. I was nervous about that, however all the food turned out excellent and very flavorful. It is a tapas style restaurant and was a bit pricy for the amount of food you get, however the salads are very big and filling, perfect for sharing. Good service and live music.

Crave by Daniel's is AWESOME!! While spending time in Hilton Head, we dined here two nights in a row. The first night we had the Filet Mignon, the Seafood Bowl & we shared the Greek Salad which is very big. Everything was fresh and delicious. Anita was our server. She was absolutely wonderful & took great care of us... The second night, we each had the full Geeek Salad. Also, I had the Mediterranean Pizzetta. Once again, the food was terrific!! Tonight, Lisa was our server & she was great! All I an say is, the Greek Salad's were the best we have ever had! Everything was excellent, Anita and Lisa are great assets to Crave by Daniel's. We look forward to dining here again!

Have been to Daniels before and enjoyed it. However, it has become just an average place. Fun atmosphere and interesting/diverse menu, but the food is not that great. Everything we ordered was oversalted, very sweet, and covered in way too much sauce. The specialty drinks recommended were not impressive either. We stayed until the restaurant turned into a club with a DJ. They said that it will be playing top 40, however every song had a Latin beat added to it and the DJ played the Jamaican air horn after every single song. Needless to say, we didn't stay long. Will not be returning.

Really enjoyed my meal at Crave tonight, and will be back soon! Honestly, I’m embarrassed to say it was my first time there and my only regret about the experience. My server Megan, was a rockstar. Ask for her. Sometimes I go gluten-free (yah im that girl) and this happened to be one of those days, so I ordered the lettuce wraps! Definitely recommend. I’ll be back!

I saw the reviews online, looked good.. So I decided to check it out, the place looked cute from outside. The minute I entered I felt the atmosphere. Superb service, the presentation of the food alone deserves five stars... I ordered the grouper taco for lunch and later I ordered the angry shrimp and lobster fried rice... The grouper taco was a great portion and the combination of flavors was perfect... The fried rice was one of the best dishes I've had in my entire life. The balance of flavour and the presentation was beautifully done. I would give this place six stars if I could, great place and I will definitely be coming agian.

Had dinner with my family here awhile back. Very cute restaurant, a little hard to get to but definitely worth it. Our first impresion was how friendly the hostess was. She promptly seated us in the back dinning room. The ambiance was perfect, private but still open. Our waitress greeted us all with waters and then proceeded to explain the menu to the table. We ordered Table side hummus, lamb kebabs and a few pizettas to start. The hummus quickly came to our table and was freshly muddled and presented to us. The pizzettas and the lamb was to die for. We all ordered off of their tapas side of the menu, had plenty of options between the whole family to try many of their dishes. The kids meals were hearty and came with their own mini "fryer" basket that the children loved. Every aspect of our night was sincerely perfect, start to finish. A few of our party had signature cocktails and a few table side martinis. The kids ordered a chocolate and dulce de leche fondue that came out with an open flame to roast their marshmellows and fresh fruit on the side as well. Our first trip here was spectacular and we will be back! Than you for the great service and food Crave!

I am going to start by saying that we have eaten here so many times over the last 4 years and have had always had a good experience. In the last 4 weeks alone we have visited multiple times (4 times) and have also brought family and friends on several of our visits. Our servers have always been great. It is not the best food on the island nor the worst - but it has a decent selection of food and honestly the place is always empty so we know we will not have to wait for a table. This last Saturday night we had an experience with the bartender/manager that was so upsetting that we will probably never return. She was so incredibly rude and instead of trying to correct an error that the restaurant is making she allowed the situation to just get worst and worst. We have also found out since talking to other friends and family and that live on the island - that this is not an isolated experience. I will say this as warning to all others: if you go to this restaurant during happy hour - and expect to get a meal as advertised - buy 1 get one half off (even children's menu) - and you bring children and order items off the children's menu - make sure you request that all the children's entrees are placed on a separate check when it is time to pay - as they are going to try to take half off all the children's entrees - instead of the adult entree's! This is pure deceit. CRAVE - If I go to Nordstrom's and buy 2 pair of boots at $200 each and they are advertised as buy 1 get on 1/2 off - then I also buy 2 pairs of kids boots $35 each - Nordstrom's is going to apply the lesser value to the equal items - 1/2 off one of the $200 boots and 1/2 off one of the children's boots. NOT 1/2 BOTH OF THE CHILDRENS BOOTS!!! YOU ALL NEED TO INTERNALLY FIX THIS!!! INSTEAD OF UPSETTING CUSTOMERS!! If you think we want to be treated rudely over $5.00 - you are wrong. It is the principle of the matter. First, We politely asked the server to correct it - no big deal. It should have been handled right there. Then a female bartender/ manager returns to the table - not having corrected the bill but to tell us we are wrong. It starts to escalate from there - but she leaves and again we assume the bill will be separated correctly and discounted correctly. But again it is not - as she then has the server return once again with a bill that actually now adds back numerous items already paid for on another credit card- which now this is turning into fraud and deceit. From here I now have to go inside the restaurant and again address this with a rude bartender/manager who just does not seem to know what she is doing at all. I inform her to fix this immediately and appropriately and that they should not be treating customers this way. However the female bartender/manager continues to be ruder and in addition she gains backup from a punk sitting at the bar - that has known her for years (as he states he knows her and that she has worked here for years) and now he joins in and starts attacking me as well. It was disgusting. He actually attacks me verbally as a tourist (he thinks tourists deserve to be attacked and are of lessor value to the island) and then even comments on my dress!! He was trying to degrade me as a female and a tourist - this is just getting even more unbelievable by the second. Needless to say My family left here horrified - we could not believe that this women did this over about $5 - in which we were overcharged. If I was the owner of this restaurant I would not have this female representing me nor my business. In addition I would not treat guests who visit my restaurant on a weekly basis like this. HEY CRAVE- FOOD FOR THOUGHT -Maybe the reason the restaurant is always empty - is a direct result of the some of the rude staff on the payroll!! I will also be sending this review directly to the owner as well - as it appears the employee who responds to these reviews is the person who I have had the conflict with in the first place. Last year I went to this restaurant during spring break and it was fantastic. The service was great and so was the food. This year some friends and I decided to go back and it was one of the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The service and food were awful. At one point, the manager started arguing with one of the people at our table, so we left without eating. I do not recommend ever wasting your time at this place. Also, the manager was not at all helpful.

Dont bother, menu seems attractive...cool atmosphere...service is horrible! They don't know how to manage and run a restaurant. I will sum it up this way, I went to pay our bar tab as we decided to eat somewhere else...they could not make change for a $100 bill at 9p.

I enjoyed myself here! The atmosphere was really nice. Great place and super close to our hotel! It was the only place nearby that was still open past ten p.m. The club portion began around midnight, but we didn't stay for it to review it. The food was good and the bartender was friendly. The lamb kabobs were AMAZE. :)

Lived on Hilton head island for 7 years and never made it here. Went for my birthday last night and it was outstanding. We shared the lamb kabobs, spicy shrimp and calamari, and Thai cucumber salad. All were excellent and nice presentation. We had the red wine flight which went well with are meal. Kat was our server, very attentive and accomadating. The background music and the company made it a remembrale night. Definitely will return.

My group made reservations because the bar was supposed to turn into a dance club on Fridays, but it no longer does that. The music was bad, the tables were awkward, the service was below average and the food was just "ok". It seemed like the place was trying too hard,

My favorite find on the island so far. Excellent food, and the environment and decor was a nice departure from the other spots on Hilton Head. Feels a little swanky for kids, but a great night out. Try the bread pudding (ours was apple pie); it will change your life. Depending on when you're there, they also have salsa dancing.
