Food was good, but the atmosphere was atrocious. Girls screaming and laughing super loud from the kitchen, kids working there. One with hands in his pants. Loud as hell. Paper towel dispensers in the bathroom don't work. Had to wipe my hands on my pants in both bathrooms. If this was a first date, I'd dump the guy that brought me! I won't be back.

I tried this place for the first time tonight, and after being a Shanghai fan for so many years, I must say that Asian Palace may be better. For the same money, Asian Palace gives you larger portions and the food is as good if not better. I'll definitely be going back.

I came once to this restraunt a few years ago for Valentine's day with my boyfriend and we've been coming back all the time ever since. Everytime friends and family come visit us from other states, we bring them to this restaurant and they love it! I even came here to celebrate my graduation. If we are feeling too lazy, we order since they deliver, and when we feel like going out, we come in and enjoy their faboulus scorpion bowls.

The sushi is good and fresh.. A nice variety. The cooked food is OK... Nothing outstanding but not bad. Free refills on the soda is a big plus. The place is clean and somewhat small. The liason of the bar to the dining area is not ideal as sometimes the prior at the bar can get loud. Their delivery is fast and so far, flawless. Wish they would offer more combination type meals.

Worst tempura I can remember choking down, just now. I had to scrape most of the 'breading' batter off to deal with it, and the plate was still mostly full after eating (with just batter). Otherwise, I actually like Yama Fuji, but feel like I wasted my money this time.

Not the worst, not the best. It was a good middle of the line. I was not displeased. Their zombie margarita is awesome! And the servers and kitchen staff did their best to understand and accommodate my gluten and dairy free requirements. They also do have a small dedicated gluten free section in their menu. Overall, not bad.

I found that the help is extremely helpful and friendly. The menu is vast and extensive. The bathroom was extremely clean and nice .The drink I had was excellent. I have been here a couple of times and every time is a good experience. They also offer delivery. I would suggest you look at the menu because they go from soup to nuts with their choices. The restaurant is friendly and inviting ..

Took my kids to here last night cos I have a groupon that's expiring soon. It was a lovely experience. We ordered the Party Boat and my kids were pleasantly surprised and trilled to see the presentation of sushi. Our family love Japanese food. It was a nice treat. They do offer typical Chinese American food too. The overall atmosphere is really nice. Table settings were just nice. Not too closed. Bathroom (ladies) was spacious and clean. Our waitress was really pleasant. I would most likely come again soon to try their other offerings.

I have been coming here for years- tonight when I left, I realized someone had stolen my bag from my car. I asked the chefs who constantly smoke outside if they saw who it was, because my car was parked 6 feet from where they omnipresently smoke. I was blatantly ignored, except for by one who told me I should "lock my car". He was apparently the manager. I'll never go back again.

We went because we had a Groupon. I bought the $60 Groupon because my husband can eat ALOT of sushi. They wouldn't let us use it because we only had three people. Meh. And the menu link on Groupon is VERY different from the actual restaurant menu. Lastly the menu online lists hibachi which I looove. Please make note, they don't have the grills and performance of hibachi chefs for customers, or offer it on the menu...

WORST sushi I've ever had. Yesterday I decided to give them a try and ordered one of my favs food of all time: Sushi. As soon as I looked at it something was off. I'm an avid sushi eater so you get to a point when by only looking and smelling it you can tell if it's good or not. This one didn't look good and didn't smell fresh but I decided to try it anyways. I ordered to go so while still at the restaurant I asked if they had placed soy sauce in it, they said yes. When I got home and looked inside I noticed that they did place soy sauce, the cheapest kind that they give you @ cheap japanese places. I ate this Sushi with this horrible soy sauce. It was tasteless, it wasn't fresh, the rice was soggy. It was bad in a LOT of ways. Less than 2 hrs later I was so nauseous. I ended up with food poisoning throwing up the whole night. I will NEVER come back to this expensive and tasteless place.

I have been here twice. The first time it was pretty good, and service was good. That was for lunch. The second time it was at night and the service was bad. We ordered a combo that included rice, chicken wings, and boneless chicken, and an egg roll. This was much too much meat so I asked if they could substitute fries instead of the bonless chicken. The waitress said no, they can only substitute fries for rice. I asked to speak to a manager and she said the same thing and that the kitchen staff would "get confused" if they substituted the chicken for fries. I told her that the restaurant is SAVING money by giving us fries instead of bonless chicken and I have never had an Asian restaurant staff refuse such a substitution, but they couldn't understand. So we had to order a side order or fries, which came out 20 minutes before the food instead of with the food! The food took forever. The Sprites we ordered tasted like a mixture of cholorine and too much sugar. We asked they be replaced with Coke. When the food did come out, they gave me the wrong order. Maybe this was just a bad night or maybe it was a result of a bad waitress, but it was not an enjoyable night in terms of service. The food was adequate, but nothing exceptional, which was ironic because the place is fairly pricey considering they serve pretty much typical Chinese food fare. maybe they think because they serve sushi they can charge more for everything.

Decided to dine in tonight.. we do a lot of take out here. I forgot how well they present their dishes. The sushi was very elegantly layed out and our dinners were beautifully done as well. All in all, this is an excellent restaurant.

If you are looking for a low key Japanese place that serves sushi and won't be outrageously expensive, Yama Fuji is not a bad choice. The place is clean, feels authentic, pleasant and friendly. The restaurant has its own parking, clean bathrooms and is also conveniently located for a quick takeout. The sushi seemed pretty fresh and the staff was courteous.

I usually have very good experiences at this restaurant. However, this last time I ordered crispy orange beef, something I get there all the time, and it was not in the least bit crispy. I was very disappointed. I will try them again though.

Food was fantastic my server-bartende was amazing. She explained everything as soon time oriental cuisine can be confusing. I thought was a little expensive but maybe was because I order couple sushi, I will advise to bring your discount if you want to enjoy good food. We went late and they didnt even wait until we were out, they were moping the floor and clearing because it was almost time to go, I assumed is a cultural thing I didn't mind but my husband was furious because is not appropriate to be mopping the floor or dusting while you eating is disgusting he says.

Food is tasteless at best. "Chicken satay" was just chunks of chicken in yellow curry and served with a nasty mustard sauce instead of the usual peanut sauce; pad Thai was okay, red curry beef was awful. Do not eat here if you know real Asian food.

Yama Fugi has some pretty good sushi. From the times we have been in there the clientele kind of brought down the experience but overall a nice spot. We LOVE that we can order online and they deliver! We really like the sushi salad!

I waited for 1 hour before calling to see where my food was. To top it off I live 7mins away from the restaurant. I got home late from work and just want to treat myself....but that did not happened. They kept telling me that the driver was 1 min away. By the time I called again it was now 1hr and 20 mins so I had to cancel. I dont want sushi that has been in a car for 30 minutes.
