We had just come from my grandmother's wake, so we were tired and hungry. The staff seated us right away, and brought us rounds of waters and various drinks--much needed. Our waitress, Nicole, was lovely. It was her first night, and we were her first large party. She took her time and made sure she had everything correct. She joked with us and really gave our night the happy ending it needed. Well done!

It was not what I expected. The bar side still had a theater atmosphere, lights, dark walls..but in the back of the room it had the pool tables and pinball machines. The restaurant side was very nice. A casual place with elegant settings.

I have been there multiple times tried many different dishes and have always been pleased with both the food and the service. It's a great family restaurant or even if you just want to go by yourself and have a good bowl of soup. You always get a bigger meal than you expect and most the time I walk away with leftovers .. my advice if you want some good Hometown cooking and friendly people give it a shot you will not be displeased

The place was great! Food was exceptional, our waitress was amazing, and the restaurant itself has a perfect blend of old and new. They also have an awesome TV which they play movies on. Not sure if it's 4k or UHD, but the movies look incredible on it. I've only had breakfast here so far, but it was absolutely the best breakfast I've had in this area. Hands down, far superior to the other restaurants in town. Two thumbs way up from this reviewer! Next time I come here, I will make sure to take some pictures and post those as well.

Just had a BLT, everything was extremely fresh, French fries were the BOM! I did order extra bacon and thought for the extra charge there would have been more, I think the cook forgot but the service was impeccable...I believe her name was Kelly

We stopped going here a while back when ownership changed and quality declined, but now the original owners are back and all is good again! We like it here for breakfast and the 99 cent special is back. Lunch is awesome too we often get the fish and chips.

Was here for lunch, after giving the Public discourse, "Serving Jehovah with a Joyful Heart," at the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The food was delicious. The service was right on, so quick to address the needs of us, and others. The only down, is that on cold days, do not let them sit you in the front window. Though I do not live close, I will be taking the time, to bring my family here again in the future. Oh, another great feature, breakfast all day!

Food is excellent, always doing original specials and prices are very reasonable. Live music in the adjoining bar area with pool tables and a mini arcade area. The upper bar is thru the restaurant for a more laid back experience.

Family oriented place,with a very large menu,incl. kids and senior menu. Daily specials,large portions and excellent food. Restaurant also open for breakfast at 6am. Bar open until 1 am. Open 365 days a year!

I wanted belgian waffles with fruit and whipped cream and my son wanted corned beef hash and breakfast potatoes, we found both here. The waitstaff could have been a bit more attentive but I have very little patience and the overall experience was a positive one.

I recently held a fundraiser for a local girl fighting brain cancer. The staff at Old Theater and the owners are beyond amazing. The time, the food they DONATED, and the smiles they gave all day Sunday was amazing. There was also a birthday party going on at the same time and they did a great job multi-tasking, had a great area set up with tables, chairs, and table clothes. Looked like they do a great job with the parties also!! I highly recommend OTD!!! and I think I gained them quite a bit of business as EVERYONE was impressed with the pizza! :) Thank you Lou, Ernie, Tonya, and Lee again for everything!!

Good food at fair prices. This place isn't go to break your wallet and u can get.a.decent meal. Meat lovers pizza is a favorite when I go here and I also enjoyed a prime rib sandwich that was a special. Two bars...one has more of a pub atmosphere in the rear of the building and the one in the front is darker with pool tables....family dining room is centralized and doesn't expose children to the bar.

Olde Theatre Diner is probably the best in Coventry to get dinner and some drinks. Or just dinner. Or just drinks! You can split a plate with your date because there are huge portions. Sadly they don't sell Blue Moon in pitchers anymore, and that was my girlfriend's and i's go-to. Decent selection of beer. They have Heavy Seas, Loose Cannon which is great and sometimes hard to find at other restaurants. The bar on the right hand side is simply a Coventry High School reunion. The back bar is much better, and the regulars are fun people. Same crowd nearly every night. Take friends if you haven't gone here before, it's a great place to have locally. I'd drive 30 minutes to get there if I didn't live right down the road.

We were there for their weekly trivia night. They had a decent crowd for a summer weeknight. The service was pretty good except that somehow the order for food of one of our group never made it to the kitchen. Other than that the experience was OK. Their food is always good.

The Olde Theater Diner was so good! And super cheap! We went here on a whim and went back the next day! We got a "small" pizza and a gyro and it was more than enough for three people - and we had leftovers! Everyone gets warm rolls with butter, which are delectable. The appetizers - particularly the clams and the stuffed quahogs - were delicious. Then the small pizza was certainly shareable (larger than a large dinner plate and 8 slices). Each item was well prepared and clearly used quality ingredients. My particular favorite - the gyro came with a salad with a giant wedge of feta cheese on top. The French fries were also really crispy and fresh. These two dinner entrees (gyro and pizza) and a seafood appetizer came to only $26! And we had a fantastic and personable time with our server McKenzie! Would certainly recommend!

Cheap beer, decent food, several pool tables, air hockey, and some arcade games. What more could you want to from a bar? Only complaint is that they often have a DJ that plays garbage hip-hop at the LOUDEST VOLUMES POSSIBLE. You might lose your voice, but you'll probably have a good enough time to let that go.

It is set back from the road and doesn't look that inviting, but as soon as I walked in the door I realized it was much larger than I expected, and there were quite a few customers, despite the seemingly empty parking lot. The food and service were surprisingly good! I will definitely be back.

The food was absolutely terrible I ordered eggplant Parmesan the macaroni was completely under cook there was hardly any sauce on the plate and the eggplant look like that they cut it out with a plug they were cut so thin and deep fried with a bread crumb batter they were all dried out I don't see how anybody could say that this place has gotten better it absolutely sucks they should learn how to cook in a restaurant from scratch instead of buying everything pre-made

We had a big party here for my dad's 60th .. it was a great place, was reasonably priced and has alot of perks. But the employees are very rude and didn't really do anything for us. I was 9 months pregnant and was clearing tables, setting up buffet tables, packing up all the left over food and had to constantly ask multiple times for different things we needed. We are very low maintenance people and are not hard to please. The only person who even tried to assist our 50 person party was a door man/bouncer. He made out great.

I came in after 3rd shift with a bunch of guys from work on a Friday morning. They let us move tables around and sit in the bar area and order either breakfast food or dinner menu and get drinks and play pool even though it's only 8am. The food is good and staff is fun to joke around with.

Breakfast is great at this location! Waiters are mostly friendly and always deserve a good tip. However when it's time for supper and you're in the mood for pasta don't order any here! I ordered chicken parm and the pasta was greatly overcooked. I could chew the pasta with my tongue...you'd think I'd use my teeth but I was surprised not to.
