Great atmosphere, friendly people, good music and great food! And every night at 830 they hand out flashlights and go out on the deck and everyone flashes the lights across the water to the Children's Hospital to say goodnight. Sometimes the kids flash lights back. Very sweet and a unique idea.

A Providence staple right on the water; different bar sections both inside and outside makes this a great place for a group hang, date, or a solo visit. The staff are super friendly in my experience, and there's a good variety of beer on tap.

If you are not a regular or a Rhode island resident you get treated like s*** because I asked for a menu to order food and got looked at like I had 10 heads... I am only here for the Rhode island expo which is moments down the road so was told to come here because it is a great atmosphere only to find out that the owner and the staff are complete and utter a**holes I will never step foot in his piece of s*** place in my life again and would never recommend it to my family or friends that ever visit Providence.... The owner had complete disregard of anything that was going on after it was brought to her attention I could not understand her actions as I know plenty of people that own their own businesses restaurants and so forth....

I drove to this place to sing karaoke for an audition and I loved every minute of it! The karaoke DJ was awesome with a great song selection and sound. The bartender was very accommodating. I don't drink alcohol but she still dressed my pineapple juice all pretty so I didn't feel any less special. The food was very tasty! We got chicken on a stick and the chicken was nice and juicy and a little charred on the outside (gave it a nice crispy outer layer). And the crowd that came in was very fun and outgoing. Oh, and you can't forget the view! This place is right on the water and the decor is all sea themed. Awesome awesome place!!

Worst place ever. We walked in and were informed there was no waitress. We couldn't find another place close to eat, so we stayed. There were two tables (total) inside. We were given one bar menu for the table, once my sister went to the bar to ask for it. She had to take our orders and give them to the bar. They gave us one of those light up pucks. When it went off, we had to go to the kitchen and pick up our own food. It tasted exactly how you'd expect from a place that expects you to waitress your own table. This is definitely a bar, not a place to get food.

One of the bartenders was HORRIBLE! A drink off of my order was spilled, and she ignored me the whole night when I asked to order a new drink (as I was seated in front of her computer screen for 20 min). Terrible customer service. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

Chicken sandwiches are the best at the Hot Club. Grilled inside. Dale is an asset to your kitchen. Popcorn is a good add. Obviously even better when the patio is open and it is nice out. Looking forward to summer 2019.

The Noah's Ark of Providence bars: there's two of everything. Great experience year-round, but particularly when the weather is nice. Also, probably the best chicken sandwich available in the State of Rhode Island.

The deck of Hot Club can be seen in one of the beginning scenes of 'There's Something About Mary.' Great place for this who don't want to deal with the people and cover charge at Whiskey Republic on a weekend night. Hot Club is awesome in the summer, especially with their multiple dockside decks. I have never seen a more diverse crowd of people in any bar, always great to see who you know.

First visit May of 2019. Enjoyed the nice weather on their riverfront deck/patio. Bartenders were friendly and professional. Free popcorn a great touch. Staff recommended the burgers and they did not disappoint! Onion rings were barely breaded and undercooked. Cheap drinks had us going for another round. Breakfast sandwich they offer was a great menu add. Rougher crowd started rolling in around 9.

Stopped in for lunch after a wonderful boat ride to Waterplace park. Only a dozen people at the Hot Club when we came in so we figured food would come out in a timely fashion. After an hour and a lot of attitude from the rude kitchen staff, my son got his hotdog. By an hour and a half I gave up on my hamburger. The bartender was at least nice enough to refund my money. It's a shame that the place is so bad, it does have a nice location. Never will I go back!

I visited on a weekend evening. I ordered a Sangria but the bartender gave me a thin tall glass of cranberry and vodka. I decided to just go with it then dispute what I ordered. I then decided to have a seat along the wall to view the water. As soon has I sat I leaned my arm on the counter. My arm was very sicky due to the counters not being cleaned properly. I was disgusted and left. I left smelling like a sticky bar. lol!

Fantastic view, great service, fair prices and quality food. Appetizers like the jalapeno popers and swasoned fries are standard fair, but the Willowtree chicken sandwich was a standout and delicious.

Was there last night. Both people at the front door insisted that my very REAL I.D. was fake and not only that, that it wasn’t me in crud picture when it really was me and everyone I showed the I.D. to besides those two men agreed. We ended up having to get the main person to come down and look at my I.D only for him to say that it was real and it was me. After MINUTES of embarrassment of the other two men yelling “that’s not you”. You’ll never see another dime from me or my friends.

Came here on a beautiful day and sat in a table for more than 20 min and didn't even get a menu .. did see my server nor was I offered not even water . Poor service. Such nice spot and horrible service. P.S not just me I saw people walk in and their server never came .

The hot club has a nice atmosphere it definitely fits its name because it was hot outside but it was still hot inside with the sun beating down they have fans in there but it really didn't seem that there was air conditioning. We did go in the middle of the afternoon we have lunch the food itself was decent but they're pretty heavy handed with the seasoning that they put on the grilled zucchini and fries it's a good seasoning but it's a bit too much. The portions were pretty decent except the chicken skewer, $5 for literally one piece of chicken on a skewer! We sat outside and enjoyed our lunch overall I would go back but definitely tell them to either use very little seasoning or omit it and definitely not order the chicken skewer due to the portion size however overall everything was tasty and we had a great time.

The only reason my experience rated 2 stars instead of 1 is because it was a beautiful day and there is plenty of outdoor seating and open widows. I guess there’s a reason certain bartenders are put on the schedule mid day on a Thursday. Besides the fact that my friend had ordered a Miller Lite and had to wait 15 min after the bartender realised she forgot her order (there was about 6 people in the bar) we were constantly ignored while the bartender ate hummus and attended to her phone. We are very understanding people with experience in the service industry so it’s one thing to be busy it’s another to disregard your job completely. We have been to Hot Club quite a few times in the past and have always had a good experience, I wish we could say the same for this time. Ps. Eat your snacks in the back.

This place is great. The location is fantastic - right on the water. The staff are super chill and nice. And the food and drink are good. I'm so glad friends suggested we go here. I can't wait to go back! I cannot recommend the fried pickles enough. Oh, and I really liked the roasted veggies (zucchini or some other squash), though some friends thought they were underdone.

Not at all what I expected by the name. It's right on the water with a huge selection of alcohol and very cheap drinks and food. I got a half priced chili dog and it tasted like the chili had been held hot a little too long but that's what I get for half priced! I would go back for sure.

Just a great spot to meet friends. My favorite is when its lights out at Hasbro children's hospital. People come to hot club to flash their lights while simultaneously Hot Club does the same as a way to say good night to the kids. This happens every evening.

What is their to say about Hot Club? A RI staple that has been around forever. Cool crowd, on the water and reasonable drinks. It can sometimes be a little crowded and a little difficult to get drinks but that is only due to the fact that they are good and thus popular. The parking isn't great, be careful because they LOVE to ticket in the area and the signs are lousy (typical Providence). The other thing here is the bathrooms. They are SMALL but by the time you are done you can't help but be friends with the guy next to you, it becomes funny as the night goes on. I think they are expanding the building and making them bigger. They have minimal food here but what they do have is surprisingly good and they have free popcorn! Hot Club is a great spot!

My 5 star rating is based on the daytime scene. I’ve been at night and it’s great, but it’s younger and crowded and probably still very fun but not what I was looking for. Daytime though is fantastic. Right on the water, boats outside, great views. Love this place.
