It's a great place for wedding parties. Pretty sure I saw five bachelorette parties with their sashes and tiara's. Most of the music was geared towards them. The majority of the patrons were female, white, blond and in wedding parties. Would be cool if they played reggae music as advertised and had more diversity in their customers, and music offered. Oh! FYI! They have a $20 drink minimum if you pay by card, most were $11 each.. and a $10 cover. My sister didn't like the place to celebrate her birthday and we bounced after an hour. All the women were dressed up in really cute dresses and glammed up, the guys were in jeans and baseball hats. Next weekend we will hit up a few lesbian bars in Providence. Would I go back, sure! I loved to people watch and this guy almost puked on this girl...epic. Lots of people who can't hold their liquor and definitely not enough seating.

Get with the times and get a credit card machine. If drinks were cheap I would get it or take credit cards and I'll pay 2.5℅. No one wants to carry cash.

Bought a groupon for 4 burgers, 4 beers and 4 tickets to the dueling piano show. Showed up at 7 ish and ordered the food. 7:50 rolls around and we still had not got our food. The bartender, Adam, was appalled and do everything in his power to make it right (turns out the food was delivered to wrong table and those people didn't say anything, jerks). Anyway Adam bought us a couple rounds of drinks and the food came right out. The burgers were absolutely amazing! Delicious, hot, and juicy. Feeling good and happy when the general manager, Chris, asked us what our plans were for the rest of the night while apologizing for the mix up again. We tell him we're headed upstairs so he says he'll have a table ready for us. He hooked us up with a spot on the middle of the floor in the reserves section. Bottom line we had an awesome time and these guys went way above and beyond to make a mistake right. Much more than expected. Plus the piano show was a ton of fun. Thanks for the great night!

Loved the girl who worked the day shift. Lilly. But after she left I had my first amendment right infringed upon. Old boy Brian had an issue with me having a political opinion. I got kicked out for hav8ng a calm political debate with a nice couple who enjoyed my company. Dude should be fired. Just sayin. Lilly was very sweet. The rest of the place was awesome. Brian was a dick. Note to all.

I will start with the positive... The one man band was excellent! He was a fun guy who was really quite talented. Location is great. Open window are fabulous. Now, the reason for my poor review... It was very difficult to enjoy this all with the constant smell from an employee vaping out in front. This went on for over an hour. Every few minutes, he would pull out his vape, take a drag and then exhale like Puff the Magic Dragon. It was relentless. The constant smell was sickeningly sweet and pungent. Totally unacceptable to have your doorman vaping constantly...

Music was ok. Had a fun time singing to the songs. When you pay the cover to get in they don’t tell you that you actually can’t stand anywhere you want and that you have to stand in the back of the room wheee there is no room to stand. When you walk in with a group of 17 people paying $10 plus each getting drinks, that’s a lot of money to be banned to the back. Bouncer told me I would have to leave the venue after I tried discussing this with him. Thankfully the manager was super nice and helped out the situation. For people wondering if they should go, be ware if you don’t reserve a table you will be restricted to stand behind everyone after paying to get in.

A great Newport bar with plenty of music and nearly every call drink you can imagine. They have a pool table upstairs and it's much larger than it looks. There's a small stage downstairs where daily and nightly music happens. I'm 99% positive they do not serve food or even appetizers here, this is a bar.

I thought it was hysterical. Went with friends , we had a blast. Still laughing over it. Definitely go there. ..Up 2 flights of steps. Cash only bar, but piano players were hysterical. Is a" don't miss 'for Newport. And a no brainer at 7 bucks cover, ..

Great music, bartenders, space to dance on the weekends. They have local and national acts on the main stage and DJ's in the back bar. $1 drafts don't suck either!

The bar was cash only, despite having a modern POS system. But, the bartenders were pretty attentive, friendly, and worked quickly. However, the bouncer did a pretty bad job of keeping the overly intoxicated patrons out, which made for a less than inviting atmosphere inside.

Absolute scammers. They charge you $5 at the door, when you get upstairs you find out you cannot sit at a table, you just bought a standing only ticket.

Update - I was asked to call to speak to someone about our experience and have done so THREE TIMES, but have yet to hear back. Disappointing to say the least. Paid for a bachelorette package and was told by a Pelham East staff member that our table was given away due to a flaw in the online booking system (i.e. a VIP package can also be booked at the same time as a bachelorette package even though they both require the same table, etc. If both systems aren't checked when the parties arrive, whoever arrives first gets the table. He literally showed us the “app” on his phone to explain the issue so I saw it with my own eyes and commented that the fact that we bought tickets last month was the reason this was missed. We were prepared and they, clearly, weren’t). Though the staff was originally apologetic and admitted their mistake (“we messed up, we gave away your table and we’re going to rectify it”), the "owner" later recanted and said we'd bought the wrong tickets and refused to refund us as a result, even though we sat in a table that would have been free otherwise and we paid for VIP (we had e-mails from Liz stating otherwise and explaining what was included in our package, etc.) The “owner” and Manager repeatedly came to the table to interrupt the party and pull multiple people away to discuss the issue which FURTHER RUINED THE NIGHT. When asked what table the people sitting in the VIP section had purchased to allow them to sit there (since we’d purchased the most expensive package on their recommendation), we did not receive a response. Terrible service, terrible place and TERRIBLE management. Have been often but will never return.
