Bad it's standing the whole night and it's vip service so to get a table you have to buy a bottle and your standing the whole night and everything is over priced, no dance floor and extremely loud

First time at this bar. I didn’t have a VIP table but throughout the night a good friend of mine had one close to the stage. He asked me to join him so I did. The so called owner told the security to asked us to leave that area and my friend who had the vip table had to reassure security that we were with him. So embarrassing. Then, someone gave us free drinks in which the waitress never brought back to us. I bet she charged that person for them. Overall, it is a beautiful place and the Dj was good, drinks were overpriced.

Disappointing to say the least. The way this place is set up with no space to dance is absurd and overpriced. Why have expensive bottle service yet no place to dance, no dance floor. This place is overrated and the customer service was poor and unsatisfactory.

Yesterday I went here with my cousins to celebrate one of here friends birthdays. We heard about the history of this place but we were stupid enough to give it a try. As soon as we got there cops were there to provide security (red flag) we chose to ignore it and wait in line. Security let all the females in first while males had to wait an extra 20 minutes in a separate line to get in, not surprised. They had a metal detector scanner then an additional body guard to search me all over my body and the whole time I’m thinking “am I going to a club or through airport security?” It was ridiculous. Once I made it inside they upped the price for $40 for males instead of being $20, mind you it’s still 11:30PM and never before have I been to an RI club for it to be this expensive at this time. I asked “why?” and the lady told me “that’s just the price for right now” instead of ruining the girls birthday by causing a scene I sucked it up and moved on. We got a table tried to enjoy the rest of my night until sometime later an employee came up and said “you guys need to buy a bottle before you can have a table” when we ALREADY had our drinks and hookah there on that table. No one else had bottles on there tables either, it made no sense for us to get signaled out when the tables not reserved anyway. So we literally had to leave the table and put all of stuff on the bar in a extremely crowded environment. The music was awful with the DJ shouting out someone every 10 seconds and it was a very unfriendly place to be in. Even the bartender gave me and attitude when I asked politely for a drink by rolling her eyes at me, like what? I’m beyond angry at this point and I left. NEVER will I ever go here again or any event they host. Overpriced, Safety endangerment, scamming, and horrible customer service. I’ll make sure to let everyone know. You got my $40, but you’re definitely not gonna get anybody else that I notify.

This place is trash . I will never go there again . On 02/15/19 i went there with about 4 of my girls and the hookah gentlemen brought us a refill right when it was time to. So I continued to smoke the hookah & all of the sudden this girl comes and takes the hookah away. I told her it’s still not done we just got it so I asked her If I will get a refund back and she said yes , so I followed her. When I got to the lady that’s In charge, a lady started arguing with me that the hookah is harsh. I simply explained to her that all I want is my refund back since the gentlemen just gave it to me . We kept on going back and forth trying to give her an understanding of what I was asking , then all of a sudden the girl that took the hookah interrupted our conversation & started calling me a bit*h and started getting loud even though I clearly was not talking to her. Then all of the sudden all I feel was her hand on my face, she did it so quick and the security guard was right behind me so as soon as he saw that he grabbed me and literally dragged me outside without even letting me figure out the reason this girl had any right to put her hand on my face. Lovera lounge is by far the worse place and has very unprofessional employees and I will never return again.
