They're rude and they get mad when you have a question. They told my friend to go sit down when she went up to ask a question. They also add on their own tip already and it's way higher than what I would've liked to give them because of how rude they were. Bad service. Do not recommend.

Great location, easy to walk to. Service was wonderful, and the food...so amazing. Hookah flavors are great and the equipment was clean and well maintained. The seating are was very comfortable and the service was outstanding. Will definitely be returning whenever we are in town.

Only one guy runs the whole business...he is nice but he needs help he can't do everything. Food took over an hour and a half to get and they automatically add tip because they know they can't keep up. Will never go back

What a fun experience! The decor is very hip and CLEAN. The first time I went to Genie's was on a Sunday afternoon and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The service was top-notch. The waitress spent a lot of time chatting with us. Tea, water, and a hookah for two was about $30. The second time was on a Saturday night and I am glad I made reservations because the place was PACKED. The young lady who had been our waitress on our first visit was belly dancing, which I never realized was a participatory activity. She is a very charismatic lady and did a fantastic job drawing the crowd in, not to mention that she is a fantastic dancer. This night we shared a plate of some traditional middle eastern cuisine. Genie's is BYOB with a "pour" charge of $1. Our bill that night (we were there for about 3 1/2 hours) for the food, drinks, and two hookah's (we got a premium hookah which is just shy of $30) was about $70. So far I have had both the herbal & molasses shisha and two different tobacco shishas and both were very good. I can see where this place may not be for everyone - it is colorful, engaging, hip, and FUN. Frumpy grumpy people probably wouldn't enjoy it, but for people who want to chill out, relax, and who are open to some new experiences this place is worth it! BTW, I drive 90 minutes to go here from CT and would gladly drive even further!

The Ancient persian pictures with their musical instruments on the walls were captivating and the Persian Rose tea and Safron tea were tasty but their food were not persian at all despite it's menue online.

The best hookah lounge I've been to! Very cozy and decorative inside. The food is very tasty and the hookah selection is premium quality. The servers are very friendly and informative too. Perfect place to go if you want to kick back and enjoy a chill night with friends as an alternative to going to a bar!

The place is nicely decorated, but managed quite bad imho. Haven't tried the food. Waiters are nice (probably the only aspect that's good). The rating is because of three major issues I came across. First they kept me a while before seating, while still at sub maximum capacity. The sheeshas are 2nd tier, with lousy coal replacements. The owner is a rude bastardized person who talks to you as if he's doing you a favor (the boy; the woman is fabulous). Please don't waste your time in this place, as it was my first (and last, hopefully) disappointment with such a lounge. Syr. K.

This is not a "Persian restaurant". If you are looking for good Persian food, look elsewhere. However, it's a good hookah lounge set up in the traditional style with Persian music.

Do t go here called at 4 to see if they was open they said they have a private party till 9 and they will be opening to the public after 9:15 I traveled a hr to this location for it to be closed and for them not to answer there phone I won’t ever go back first and last time I’ll stick with providence hookah spots

Very nice people, the atmosphere works but it isn't high class. If you just want to try something new in a simple setting this place will fit your needs. Not overly priced, about $20 to $25 for a Hookah set up for 2 and their specialty creations are fun. It's BYOB with a $1 pouring fee. I'd suggest buying waters. Easy to get dried out. Molasses is an option for the tobacco free types. If you're going for the belly dancers.... Friday night's. Not always guaranteed, if you're able call ahead for details.

I've been going to Genie's as a Patron since they opened. One of the mixes my friend and I made ended up on the menu and is still a pretty popular flavor. The atmosphere is great and the paint scheme is totally unique with different colors all around to cause a happy tone throughout the restaurant. The back corner pillow is hands down the best spot in the place and can easily fit 3 close friends on it. The owner is actually involved in her business and is usually found sitting at a table having tea on the weekend and watching everyone enjoy her dream becoming a reality. Service with a smile.

I give five stars to the reasonable price. Most times I don't have a problem going, the last time I went it was a group of 12 and the "sharing" of flavored wasn't tolerated even though we were just trying and paying for all of them! That was a lil stingy. It overall a great place!

Great hookah choice. You can even get a nicotine free hookah. They use the coconut shell charcoal which is considered the best. The food is good, too, mainly vegetarian though

Very disappointed :( I took my family there, food was awful, service was poor and our waiter was very rude ! The chicken I got was not even real chicken , reminded me of junk strips at fast food places. They charge 20% tip automatically that's why they don't care. I asked for a simple napkin and utensils, he replied this is not a restaurant
