I luv this venue..been going for a few years now n it is well worth the drive from Penn State..Have met some of the sweetest country artists m the pizza is tops..everyone is so friendly.

I can't review on the food. Never eaten there. But if you want to get up and personal with an artist, this is the place. Every time I'm in Pittsburgh, I head here for at least a show. Good sound, intimate, friendly staff, easy access. Decent beer selection.

There is a very good reason why this cafe has a wait to get in. Very creative menu, and excellent quality smoked meats and eggs. Try the butterscotch bacon or lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes.

Would not have gone here except the Bumper Jackson's were playing here. Had a nice atmosphere, the staff very friendly, and the other patrons were cool. Next time I'm in town, I'll be visiting this place again.

The food was not great my wife's first chicken sandwich was burnt to a crisp. The second one was not burnt but also not fully cooked. The beer and wings were good though.

Wonderful place. They have live bands/acts playing all the time. Good music with good prices. Good place to look up if you want to either see music or play it yourself. It is also a cozy place to go for a bite to eat and have good service. Good drinks at a comparable prices. Highly recommended.

A small, chill venue that fits only a couple hundred, probably. Great for quieter bands, but the acoustics are generally fine louder music as well. The bar usually has decently unique options for beer or cocktails. The food menu is relatively small, but nothing has ever disappointed.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch outdoors in the cafe. It was beautiful setting to enjoy a lunch with my coworker. The menu offered unique seasonal items that would certainly appeal to anyone. They also offer vegan and gluten free items clearly marked on their daily menus. Our server was friendly and attentive.

I am very upset this place is 21 and over. I believe that 18 and up should be allowed to enter due to the live music feature. Just a suggestion

Cozy, I was at a sold out show and it was very crowded with that many people in such a small space. The bartenders were amazingly efficient dealing with such a large crowd and were very attentive, although the beers were a little pricier than other places in the area. Would go again definitely.

This is a small and intimate concert venue with a full service bar. They pull mostly local talent but also a major act on occasion. I've always had fun when I have visited.

The bartenders were terrible. They were not friendly. Clearly not used to the number of people that showed up. They ran out of glasses and were not sanitizing the used glasses before reusing them. Management claimed there were no ticket purchases at the door. I know people that bought their tickets at the door. So they are ripping off their acts. The band also had items taken. I would highly recommend against performing at or going to this establishment.

Drove from Niagara Falls, Canada to Pittsburgh to see a very good friend's band play at the Club Cafe with my son and wife. When we went in to soundcheck we were told my 15 year old could not stay....that it was 21+. My son has seen many shows with me in the US where it was 21+ but because he was accompanied by an adult he was allowed in. The lady/manager at the door did not offer any options, did show any remorse or concern that we just drove 4 hours, she simply said NO. The fact that she did not even care speaks volumes. Thanks for your awesome customer service!

I came for a concert and it's probably the most intimate setting for a show. It's limited seating so get cozy or stand (which I prefer). Full bar, very bice staff.

Just a great scene to see local and traveling bands. Venue is rather small so get in early but there are plenty of drink options to choose from.

Hands down the best place in town to see amazing acts in a small intimate venue. Since it's not about the food, I'm still giving 5 stars but please, please fix the food. A few months ago (Chris Smither!) I asked the waitress what was the safest choice on the menu - a question she's heard before and she sheepishly said the pizza. It was pathetic. So last night (Richard Shindell!) I tried the hummus and vegetable plate, and since 3:00 a.m. (it's now 1:00 p.m.) my intestinal track has been rallying (I'm omitting details for civility, but hopefully you get the idea).

Went to see a friend's band... there was hardly any seating we had to stand the whole time. Getting service requires fighting your way up to the bar. The sound system is good but the guy mixing was not doing a very good job. Small and uncomfortable but nice that they have bands and open mic nights.

We've attended two concerts here. The staff and clientele are very friendly. It's small, so get here early if you want to a seat or table. I would recommend, and plan to come again.

I've hosted private events in this space and also played many shows over the last 10 years. I love this place. This was the first venue I played as a solo artist. It's an intimate venue with a listening crowd. Always a cool spot for hearing singer/songwriters from every corner. WYEP is usually a good source for cool artists that are passing through.
