All I have to say is... From the DJ selection, to the people there, to the drinks... it is absolutely amazing!!! But the venue itself.. I’m blown away! It is one-of-a-kind and known internationally! There is no other place like it in Cleveland and that’s facts. If you like the night life then you NEED to come to FWD!

There is truly nothing like FWD in the midwest. Though it’s a seasonal club they make the most of the short seasons. If they had a roof they would surely blast it right off. Every year the acts they book get better and better. Just this season alone they’re having Pauly D and 3Blau! They also have a pool and host day parties on the weekend. The staff is great and super friendly! Whether you’re a day drinker or want to party all night long FWD has something to offer!

I have been to this establishment a few times and I have had a terrible experience almost every time. Some of the staff is nice and helpful, however the bouncers are terrible people, and the managers cannot help you with anything.

Prices are out of touch for downtown. Clueless employees. And when they host an event there, they still charge a 20 dollar cover after the event is over and that basically includes nothing. This is the last place in the flats I would go to.

Had a blast! John was a great friendly bartender, he went above and beyond with me and my girls. We were there in the early evening with a bachelorette party. It's nice there is so may bars around the dance floor. No seats anywhere is you don't reserve/buy an entire section. The dj was also really great!

Just went last night and was very impressed. First off, I loved the staff. They're very friendly, especially the bartenders. Secondly, the atmosphere is phenomenal. A lovely waterfront view with boats in the distance, and a lovely breeze. The stench of fish is a bit to get used to at first. (Once you have some drinks though you don't notice it.) Thirdly, I enjoyed being surrounded by classy, well dressed people. I love to dress up so I felt like I fit in better, unlike the clubs on W 6th. Fourthly, I loved the music. It's Dance, EDM, and pop remixed. As much as I enjoy the Hip-Hop music at the W 6th clubs, it's nice to hear dance music, which I also love. Only negative is that they allow smoking. Aside from that, had a blast! :)

They are trying to do something nice. The location is cool and all, friendly staff. If you are coming in from out of town be warned there is about as much dance room on the Dance floor as your flight seat.

The bouncers wouldn't let me in to a table I helped pay for. The first time I went, my friend wasn't allowed in because the bouncer thought he saw a stain on his shoe. Worst place in Cleveland

Good parts: the atmosphere is more like LA, Miami, NYC, or Vegas. Bars and clubs are the same, overpriced drinks....what else is new. Bad parts: the dress code is not wholly enforced......people walking in with jeans, hats, and sneakers. Just cause its outside doesn't mean smokers and vapers should be free to smoke.They need to escort drunk idiots and hood rats out asap. The bathrooms weren't clean as they could've been. The bouncers are kind of idiots and the scantily clad servers was too much.

Great outside atmosphere but get ready to be ripped off. I heard door staff admit they intentionally upcharge the first attendees who arent ticket holders. Then if you park there they will randomly raise parking from $10 to $15 the very next week.

Had a party for a friend who had just gotten back from a deployment and the staff were extremely accommodative for us. They upgraded us to a private table for the pool party and it was the best time we had all summer. Everything was clean and the pool was refreshing. There’s no better way to beat the heat and spend a Saturday, especially with the dj and live music. Nothing else like in Cleveland.

I love this place. Spacious, outdoor and just so vibrantly amazing. Had a section reserved last week to celebrate my graduation and the server was very attentive. The front fellows were very prompt. This place gives you a taste of a mega city partying vibe in a smaller city like Cleveland.

Awesome live music venue. They also have an in-ground pool. Exclusive cabanas for bottle service is definitely a no brainer here.

I haven't been to the downtown Flats area since they remodeled everything years ago. It was a friend's birthday party so I decided to venture and try it out. Can I just say it's one of the best times I've had in the past 10 years!! The atmosphere was very upbeat New York style people were dressed the way they should be when going out nobody had their pants sagging off their butt and the ladies were Tastefully sexy it was more of an upper-class environment. We had table service in a nice u shaped couch area the whole evening for 15 people was about $3,000 considering all the bottles & mixers plus the wonderful service we got everybody was extremely happy. The music was non-stop amazing the DJ they have is really top notch. I can't wait till next summer when they Re open. I did learn that company has another bar dance club in the area called Magnolia. I will be checking this out! Lol I personally will pay 20.00 cover charge if it keeps out the cheap creepy rif-raf that start fights and make my life out sub-par . I was very comfortable and felt safe. Everyone was respectful... Just loved everything. Wish I wasn't a winter b'day.

Music sucks and overpriced. You can’t put this kind of place in Cleveland and expect to attract cool people. All you will get is Cleveland losers, bums and slobs all around you and wasted people should be shown the door! Your bringing our classy meter down! Bottle girls think they are so hot when they are all ugly and have makeup caked on. Weak! Bottle service is overpriced, you get to look at a crappy city and the people who live in it all around you. Move FWD to Chicago and play better music!

I literally loved the first time I came here during the day. But I attended the event tonight july1 2018. All I can say is WOW. I never in my life have been treated so rude in my life. There bouncer was pushing girls and acting like we didn’t have the right to be near the front.... but it’s bc he had personal friends there he let in the front. I disgusted that a man let alone an employee of this club was pushing woman away literally. After we paid 35$ each to get in, we had the right to be near the stage. So disgusted by this club, I will not be attending or spending another dime here either will the 10 people I brought with me. Hire people that want to be there, not punks!

When we went to FWD, the line was very long and we waited 20 minutes to get in. I was dressed properly. The bouncers at the door would not allow me into the club because I was wearing sneakers. I was wearing a pair of Yeezy shoes and I also saw many other people wearing them inside such as other security guards. I went to the next line over and the bouncer easily let me in. For a club that's in downtown Cleveland, I expected the staff to be respectful. That was my first and last time at FWD day and night club.

I purchased VIP meet n Greet tickets to see Pauly D on 7/3. When I approached the line at FWD, I inquired where the line was for VIP meet n Greet. One employee directed me to one line and when that line was approached, I was redirected to the front of building. I entered the building through the front entrance where my friends and I spent over $100 in drinks as we waited for Pauly D to arrive. Approximately 11:30 pm, I realized it seemed odd that my ticket seem to be the same as general admission. I approached a security guard who advised Meet n Greet was hours ago at Magnolia. I asked him who I needed to speak with to assist with this as we were never advised to go to Magnolia and he ignored me. I left the front of the dance floor and proceeded to ask any employee for assistance and continued to be directed to the wrong person. When directed to the owner, he was rude, advised there was nothing he could do and basically dismissed our conversation after spending hundreds of dollars on this event. I left FWD and went to Magnolia as some employees advised to then be advised by the head Security guard that the meet n greet was over. Head Security proceeded to say Pauly D was no longer taking photos. I spent over $200 on ticket sales, another $100 in drinks to not have the service I purchased rendered to me. I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am for attending this venue for the first time and to be treated as poorly as I was. I have paid for a service that was not rendered and when I attempted to seek assistance was treated like trash. I requested reimbursement that night and was treated poorly by all employees and never directed to who I can speak to to resolve this matter. I am requesting my sale on tickets to be reimbursed to me as I never received what I paid for.

If you want an escape from the normal Cleveland club, this is the place to be. FWD is like a Miami club right in the heart of the flats. Great out door atmosphere, fun music, and beautiful people!

A refreshing Vegas style vibe in Cleveland Ohio. Their bar transforms to pool bar by day to outdoor dance club by night, with live entertainment and great staff. Definitely the place to be if you’re out on the town during a Cleveland summer.

best club to be at in cleveland in the summer. well known djs come here, but i've noticed that they've had the same ones multiple times instead of getting more, and even better ones. (a lot more/better djs go to clubs in columbus that haven't come to cleveland). ticket prices for events usually aren't bad if you get them soon, but you can expect to pay the same price to get in on just a normal night, which is why i don't go as much as i would like to. when pauly d was there, it was very crowded and a lot of people were being rude. one girl pretty much ruined my night and a manager noticed i wasn't happy and asked if everything was okay and bought me and my boyfriend drinks!

This was my first summer back in Cleveland after being gone years! Love this City, and the best DAY and NiGHT CLUB in it, is FWD. This place is full of energy. Yeah, it’s not Vegas. It’s better. I don’t need to get on a plane and fly there to have the greatest night ever! Thank you for the drinks and worth the hang over! Love you FWD! Oh and check out the pool during the day. It’s open online 12-6pm and FREE!

Charged 300 dollars per bottle for service. Waitress didn't have clean cups, always out of mixers, no ice, didn't pour the table drinks. Worst part was the auto gratuity for zero service. I had to go down and ask bartenders for juice and glassware. Other cabanas were taking our ice and red bull and no security around at all to complain. I won't attend again as so many fun and new options in the area that perform to a way higher standard than forward for a better value. Not gonna cut it.
