Drinks are way over priced and quality of the drink mixes was not good and not consistent. The music was at a constant 140-150 dB which is permanent ear damage in less than 5 minutes. Many burnt out or not working stage lighting on the main stage. It was super crowded with no staff keeping any sort of walk ways clear so you have to bump and push through no matter where you go. The few staff members I talked to had no idea what stage the shows for the night were on and just kept telling me to go ask the bar tenders. Know your venue! Poor customer service! Doubt I will ever return, sad this was my first visit and I heard so many great things from my friends. Was not impressed! Only positive was the attendant in the restroom was very polite.

If you are a 20 something you may like it. It was very crowded and we kept getting bumped into by drunk bridesmaids and teeny boppers who didnt seem to know when to say when. There was constantly a line for the dirty bathroom and the drinks where very expensive and watered down. I know my drinks, definitely watered down. The 3 stars are for the drag show, which was pretty awesome

My god that made me as a gay man feel so disgusted at my own kind. No class here. People really come out and show their true colors when drinking. NASTY!!!!

Always an incredible time at Axis Club! Although the phone doesn’t seem to be working. Only downside is that I wasn’t able to give the DJ requests for specific songs. Really fun time, pretty clean and very friendly staff :)

They book the talent, but treat the patrons like mules. Cover charges, high drink prices, separate liquor liscenses to block people with drinks from one side of the bar to the other. Even absurd policies to recharge cover fees for partrons who leave. 0/10. Even the talent seems to put minimal effort in 10 minute sets. It's unfortunate this is the only place to book. Standards are in the dirt, bar is set to low due to lack of competition. Do not recommend, if you can avoid it

UPDATE: after reading other reviews, I am NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO WAS BEEN DRUGGED AND KICKED OUT AT THIS CLUB. I'll never trust Axis again. I thought we were supposed to support each other. It makes me very sad and disappointed. :( I was here this weekend for pride to see Adore Delano. Spent over $50 dollars for a ticket because Kim Chi was supposed to be there too... she wasn't there. I had been at pride all day, waiting in lines outside. When we got to Axis I had one drink, then shared another drink with a friend. While in line waiting for the meet and greet my drink was left unattended on the table while I went to the bathroom. When I came back and started drinking it, I felt confused and way more intoxicated than I should have, and at this point I knew I had been drugged and threw my drink away. I sat down on the ground with a friend because I didn't feel well but Adore is my favorite queen and I was 5th in line to meet her, there was no way I was leaving. I was so confused that I thought we were still outside, since we had been most of the day, so I lit up a cigarette. A guy in a regular shirt came up to me and told me I couldn't smoke in here, and I realized I was inside and immediately put the cigarette out, apologizing profusely. The next thing I know the table is being yanked away from me and I'm being drug up from the ground by a guy in a black shirt with a police officer next to him. I told them it was my mistake and I was sorry and to please just let me get my picture and I would leave. Even the police officer apologized and said that he would have given me a second chance had the manager not been SO insistent that I get kicked out. I was confused, scared, and had two large grown men yelling into my face. I told the manager I only had two drinks and he cursed at me, told me I was a liar, and told me I had to get out. I begged him to please just let me get my picture and I would leave. The officer then proceeded to drag me out to the sidewalk, take a pair of scissors and cut my wristband off, then left me there alone. I don't know how long it took for my friends to get out there and find me. Anything could have happened during that time. I never even got a chance to explain myself because the manager was screaming in my face so much all I could do was cry and apologize and beg him to just let me stay for a picture, then I would leave. I was drugged by some P.O.S. and dragged out of Axis for a small mistake I made when I was only minutes away from meeting my favorite queen in the world. Needless to say, I will NEVER spend another PENNY at Axis, and everyone I know who goes there will hear about this story. My friends and I used to come to Axis at least twice a month to see shows and have spent a lot of money there.... not anymore, thanks to that one insensitive and extremely rude and angry manager. I wish I knew your name, so I could personally thank you for ruining my entire pride.

I had a terrible experience. A group of 7 of us during pride spent 25 dollars each to get in only to be kicked out 20 minutes later, solely because of capacity. When we tried to reenter to explain the situation and hopefully get a refund we were denied entry from the street from the Fire Marshall. We spent almost 200 dollars collectively for nothing. Myself or my friends will never be back. It’s one thing to organize and explain if things get too crazy, but that never even close to happened. This experience is one of the worst service experiences I’ve encountered.

I had a really good time and the bartender really knew what he was doing. I danced without being bothered by anyone in a bad way, people interacted with me off the dance floor, and were really cool. It's really hard to get a hold of anyone for the lost and found or in general.

Dreadful. I came for the Saturday night Pride event. Could not distinguish between the Dance floor music and the Drag show on the stage. I was not impressed with the show, have been to them all over the country. Had to pay an event entry fee that was not worth it. Paid almost as much for a bottle of water as a drink usually costs, was there only 45 minutes and on the way out was told I could not take my water even though it was posted that "Alcohol" was not permitted past the point. Over all, was not impressed and will never go back for any reason. I gave it one star only because I could not do a 1/2 star.

Went to a show staff was nice people were fun. But after two drinks I was blacked out drunk. I’ve heard stories about people being drugged and roofied but I went with it anyway. Go for the entertainment but for the love of god don’t drink you will regret it.

Always have a great time here. Only go a couple times a year these days but still have a blast every time. Although last few times it was completely dead up until the last 30 minutes or so. Staff is friendly as hell and tons of CUTE PEOPLE!! ;) Admission is cheap, drinks are EXPENSIVE!! variety of shows and stuff going on. Music is typically OKAY. would like more pop without the remix or techno.. as well as more hip hop. Other then that, it's great.

It was a nice place, although if your going to have an event that has reserved seats PLEASE INFORM THE PATRONS AHEAD OF TIME. AND DON'T OVER PACK AND BREAK THE FIRE CODES!!!! Need to be a little more professional.

I went here just to get out the house with my boyfriend and everyone was so nice. No one was overly aggressive like I thought it would be. My boyfriend and I had reasonable amounts of liquor and I danced to my hearts content. Did I mention they guys are beautiful? yup.. they were.

We had so much fun until a person stole from myself and my friend. We paid $250 for a gift basket that helped raise money and a person decided to pick through the basket while sitting next to us. I am appalled that this would happen. What can be done to rectify this matter??We paid good money for a table and supported the bar/preforming staff and yet we were taken advantage of. This is NOT ok.
