It was my 1st time to the bar/club & I must say I love the lights hanging outside. The security men were nice & helpful. The bartenders worked hard to get everyone's drink orders quickly. I must say of all the bars/ clubs ive been to, their bathrooms were the cleanest !!!!!! That is definitely a must for most women. My friend & I will be going back.

Went to see a concert here. It was definitely worth the visit. I noticed a lot of underage people getting removed who were drinking from their older friends drinks. Lots of dancing. Drinks were reasonably priced. There is a nice outside patio that you can smoke on.

Love this club and I prolly bring a group of ten every time I come. Sean is great! Love the place and love the bar but we paid the taxi 25 dollars in total to drive us home in the (free shuttle) but that's all we had at the time and the driver was pissed! Guess I'll not drink next time and drive home or find a new bar!

I recently visited Salt for the fist time and it was an awesome experience. The courtesy, professionalism and service exhibited was impressive. The music was great and facilities were excellent but by far, Tonya and the owner made our experience exceptional!

This must be the best place to hang out on the island - had SO much fun here! Great vibe, great mix of people (younger & older), good mix of music to appeal to everyone. Loved the ambiance. The owner is awesome - all about customer service (which is a rarity). Such a fantastic place! Highly recommended!

I love this place so much. Out of all the clubs I've been to in havelock, morehead, and jacksonville, even wilmington, this one is by far my absolute favorite. When they have kid scene come on and his amazing EDM, reminds me of home in nevada. West coast is huge on EDM so this place is perfect if you like that!

My husband and I enjoy going to the Salt especially to see the beach music bands. Sean and his staff and his mother Betsy are fantastic. They have accommodated us every time we have requested a table and or anything else. They are truly good for Emerald Isle.

Went on St. Patty's Day to see Bryan Mayer. Venue was a good size. Bars were swamped...was near impossible to get a drink. I stood at the counter for a good 20 minutes and the bartender that *finally* served me, informed me that the other guy was my bartender. That was the only drink I purchased that night. Mind you the bartender that served me had waited on people to the left and right of me...so he had served everyone around me... even people that came up to the bar after me. I don't think I'll be patronizing this place again.

I am a visitor to the area. Part of the group I was with are locals. This is the first time we went to SALT and the last. Half of the staff didn't know how to make an actual drink and were charging us for drinks that were virtually alcohol free. We watched the girls make our drinks several times (one woman in our group has been a professional bartender for years) and the ratio was not even an alcoholic beverage, more like a bunch of soda. Then we get our tabs and they cashed out and charged someone else's tab to one of our groupmates cards. They gave her back cash for the difference and she tipped them with cash. They ended up charging her for another tip to the card the following morning. Another group mate of ours saw this morning that, even though he cashed out with the correct tab and amount of money that he should've been charged, they somehow ended up being able to charge another persons tab to his card as well. In total, took out $80 that was not his and drained his bank account. In addition, a third member of our group chose to forgo a tab and just pay separately for drinks because he has been scammed like that before and didn't want to take that chance, which is lucky for him, but they charged him extra on each drink because he wasn't starting a tab. This seems completely unacceptable to us. I don't know what kind of establishment SALT thinks it is, but I do know that it is a very dishonest one. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would also advice everyone who has been there to check their bank accounts. Chances are we can't be the only one they tried to scam money from.

We went to see a Journey cover band which was good but we had to set thru 45 minutes of a low end male review which we didn't come for nor did we want to see it ? then the band started late and the mixer board guy had no clue so more delay ! Just another example of improper managment ? It has all the potential to be Great !! Just not there yet

Loved the environment but apparently they don't allow anyone under 21 in anymore, drove all the way there about 45 minutes to just sit in my car so my friends could enjoy their time. (I'm 20) I was the DD for my friends who are 21 and wanted to watch over them but no! I hope the new management can allow underage in again so I can go back and enjoy the awesome music and environment and drive my friends home safe!
