This Night Club corresponds to the category of Lounge.
Views are gorgeous and crowd is mature which is refreshing to network with. But man, $17 for a glass of wine? Ooof. A decent meeting spot before heading to cantina next door.
Nice view and service. Cocktails are very small and not that good.
I asked for blanked and they have it and didn’t give it to me. I talked to the manager and he didn’t even try to help me.
Gorgeous rooftop views of Manhattan and the Hudson
What a view. Worth the 21$ drinks. Go here if you’re traveling. The view at night is unreal.
Good but not intrusive service, good house cocktails, excellent view and relaxed, upscale vibe. Great spot to unwind after work.
Very nice vibe, amazing view of this great city, great barman. Hostes and security not very friendly. And there is no particular way to get a table/ make reservations. Its really just a nice bar with a fantastic view, and overpriced drinks. ( but they do have to pay rent so for the city, drink prices are farely decent).
Always glorious up here ❣️
Great views! Good drinks, try the Georgia.
This bar has the most spectacular view of any place that I have visited in the New York City area. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant! In my opinion, the prices are reasonable taking into consideration the views that are available. The summer time is the best time to visit, however the views and accommodations are amazing all year round. Definitely take a good cell phone or camera along! Do not pass up visiting this place next time you are in the area.
View and drinks was everything a little on the pricey side but simply amazing. Only downside there’s no parking $115 parking ticket
A great of view of NYC totally worth it. Drinks and cocktails are really good.
The lounge is pretty sick, I'd try to get there before 7pm on a Thursday/Friday so that you can get a seat. There is plenty of seating for larger groups as well as nice standing tables overlooking the skyline. The options are very good between beers and cocktails.
5 stars for breathtaking views and an amazing environment. 3 stars for rude bus boy. When my wife's friend asked about wifi the guy rudely said it's for hotel guests only and walked away with our empty glasses. Extreamly rude becasue she actually is a hotel guest and invited us to the roof. Smh how does one just assume someone is a guest or not? I mean she's not the most tech savvy person so even if she was given the wifi information at check-in she wouldnt know how to use it haha and always asks us to help with connecting. It was rude of the guy to assume. Very terrible. Besides that amazing cocktails if you order the right one for you. Be experimental and try them u may or may not like some but all and all loved the place.
Best view of NYC skyline. Comfortable lounge atmosphere and there is plenty of sitting and standing room. The terrace is open even during the winter months!
One of the best views in NYC. This is not a party/dance rooftop. It’s classy but relaxed, even romantic for couples. Go well dressed up.
One of the best roof tops in the city. Fantastic view. Great cocktails. Limited by snacks though but a must go place while you are in NYC
Worth the view. Drinks were ok, but the service was subpar for the wait. Nice vibe overall and will come back!
This is a good place for a view and a drink with a good ambiance. However, if you are looking for music and dance, this may not be the place. No cover charge and also quick with entry. Great experience overall apart from the dance, but awesome for a conversation. Great place to start a date night with a drink!!
Unfriendly wait staff, and inefficient management. incredibly overpriced, my friends birthday celebration was a terrible experience because of it. Will not be back.
Nice view, vibe and music however a bit expensive even for area...
The drinks were expensive, but ultimately, they did not justify the price. They were hard to swallow. There are amazing views, but the atmosphere overall was severely lacking in substance. If you are looking for some good Instagram posts, then this spot is worth a few minutes; however, I would definitely skip out on getting any of the cocktails.
Spectaular view, great cocktails and very nice atmosphere
This is one of the best lounge zones in the Great Apple! A huge terrace, from this place offers a bright and fascinating view of New York. Drinks and cocktails are very expensive, moderately tasty! I recommend to come here before full sunset, because you run the risk of being left without a place and going out to the terrace will not work! Very cool! The bar is unique, located on the panoramic terrace! The best to visit this bar in the warm season! I recommend to everyone. The staff is quick and polite!
Awww so cute and panoramic and filled with possibilities. Date night, group hangout with friends, secret meetup, etc. Will explore more this summer. One thing. It's a teeny bit uppity but just come looking like you're an adult with some money.
Definitely a must visit bar in NYC. The views are outstanding. Enjoy
Beautiful venue. Good service. Definitely ba keeper.
Good atmosphere. Decent views. But drinks are pricey. Definitely a good place to hangout once in a while but there are better rooftops.
The VIEWS were breathtaking!! I was looking for a low key relaxing type vibe night and this place was exactly that. Not crowded and plenty of seating available indoor and outdoor. I went on a Sunday night, food and drinks were a bit pricey, no reservations, no cover charge and on a first come first serve basis. The waiters were nice and checked in on us. All in all I’ll go back.
Between the ambiance, the drinks and the quality of food, I honestly can't recommend this place high enough. The food took a little while to come out, but it was worth the wait and felt as though they cooked everything fresh. The comfortable seating along with the warm, dimly lit atmosphere really encourages a social, comfortable environment to talk with friends. We had the scallops, the catch of the day and the octopus. Everything was delicious but the scallops on a bed of sweet corn and the sea bass on a bed of orzo were mouth wateringly exceptional. We cleaned plates. The desserts were also delicious and were perfect for sharing. I would also recommend the duck liver toast (fois gras) was an incredible appetiser. The rooftop bar had a stunning view and a moody atmosphere for post dinner cocktails that make a statement.
If you want to have a rooftop that is above a hotel this is great. The views and seating is great. They have indoor and outdoor. Outdoor heating/ a furnace. It was really nice. My fiancé had a beer and I believe I had a plum mixed drink. I definitely don’t think it was with 45$ not including the tip. Music was relaxing. Not a place for dancing if that’s what you are interested in. We would return!
What an amazing place to spend your evening here, reach there before sunset and you ll have amazing view of city skyline. Cocktails and drinks are bit pricey but worth view of city.
Amazing place! The people, the view can't beat it. It is a little pricey on the drinks
Incredible views and pricey but decent cocktails! Go on the earlier side before it gets too scene-y and you can actually get a seat. There are still some enclosed spaces with views in winter so it’s good in any season! Highly recommend the “Palatino” cocktail (grapefruit, Prosecco, gin) which is $21.
Stumbled upon this place before midnight and they had 2 for 1 cocktails! Woo. But not sure if it's poppin' or not after that. First time here.
Ossm View of Downtown Manhattan along with nice drinks.....worthit
Had a blast visiting from Tucson, Arizona. Breathtaking views of the city.
Love this venue. Non-pretentious, great attentive staff, and no fussy dress codes. Sometimes if you’re wandering the city, you still want to check out a great place with a great view without feeling like you have to be all dressed up :) and they have seedlip too, for when I don’t want alcohol but still want a great drink!
The view is amazing, but the staff missing... we wait 15 min and no one came, I get in to ask the bartender and waitress said she will be there in a minute, 15 minutes later still no one, I order the drink at the bar and took it my self. Probably not enough staff but they definitely have money to hire more.
Great location with a stunning view over NYC. A little pricy but totally worth it!
Overlooking the city from hells kitchen. Beautiful view of the city as well as the pier. It was a gloomy and rainy night but still a great atmosphere and the pretzels are delicious.
The view is fantastic! It was the best rooftop view of the city that we have seen. We went to multiple rooftop bar and restaurant locations around the city and The Press Lounge is was by far the best. The bar had a mix of both locals and tourist but felt mostly local. The drinks were expensive, even for a New York bar but with no cover charge it is worth it for the view!
Great view and atmosphere. underwhelming music (to say the least) and extremely weak drinks
Incredibly pricey. Great view. Good pretzel, but,$14 for a pretzel is crazy. $15 for an average beer... It's not even huge.
Great view, drinks are little overpriced, but i guess it is worth to pay if you really want to see a great view of downtown of NYC
Views of Midtown Manhattan were spectacular. The outdoor patio had ample space but maybe due to time of the year seating was limited outside.
Loved the view and space....only strange there was no music playing.....but all and all a good spot to stop for a drink and the city view!
I like this place. I don't love it, but it's nice. The view is decent. There are nice little alcoves to sit in when it's not too busy. The long shallow pool looks cool lit up. There's some food (I like the soft pretzel.) The crowd is not too hip, it's pretty low key. Drinks are pricey but the cocktails are good. Its main selling point is that there is not much else in this part of town if you want a nice view / rooftop drink. I've been a few times and I may go back.
My favorite rooftop in the area! The lounge terrace offers a full panoramic view of Manhattan, so definitely the perfect spot for the perfect shot!
Awesome rooftop in NYC one of the best I've been to! Tasty cocktails, incredible views of water city and times square, fun crowd and ambiance. We went as a group of 6 for a birthday and had a great time. They dont require reservation its walk in very chilled vibes definetley a summer time gem!!
For my first time in NYC, this was a pretty awesome place to visit. There's a pretty good view of the city from this 16th floor rooftop bar, and you can also look out over the water as the sun is setting. I think most beers were $15-$16 a piece. It wasn't too crowded when I was there from about 8:30-11:30 PM on a Friday night. Was a bit underdressed with jeans and a button down, slacks would've been better but there wasn't a dress code that stopped us from getting in. The bathroom lines started backing up around 10:30 or so.
Yah buddy. This place was Awesome. Big and high. Lots of places to
This place was a hidden gem! Food was equiset, and to top it off the upstairs view at night time was incredible!
The press lounge is just wow. The staff/bar tenders ares friendly and helpful. This is a classy place if your meeting with friends or to impress a girl or any date you would pick this place. The view is amazing ! My pictures on this rooftop came out beautiful all because of the view. I will be back summer time so I can enjoy the view from outside but the inside is again classy and beautiful too. Deffinetly wear something casual/classy. Perfect spot to have a few cocktails, chat, take pictures, and to start the night!! I was impressed.
Visit for awesome views of NY midtown skyline and Hudson River. Nice upscale lounge located on 16th floor. Small but good collection of cocktails and beer. Carry jackets on a windy day.
Elegant rooftop bar and lounge perfect for hosting social events
Really great view, atmosphere, and drinks Will be back
Amazing! And I mean that in every definition of the word. As everyone around the world, it was a dream of my to visit New York, and as a huge fan of Rooftops, this place was top of my must visit places. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The staff, The ambience , the views all was amazing. I’ll be heading back this year. I’m so looking forward to it.
Beautiful views of the city. Drinks are pricey but for what it's worth, it's an awesome place to mingle and have a great time. Super chill vibes. Staff is nice.
Amazing location. Amazing food and drinks. Amazing service. Booked a private event and couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Everyone loved it. And to be fair...booking the finest rooftop in Manhattan wasn’t as expensive as I thought it would be. Their price options were varied and manageable, highly recommend it
PROS: This is one of the most upscale rooftop bars I've been to. No admission fee, nice quality food, any drink you want, and a very high end atmosphere. The people there are more mature than normal bars you go to and the staff is very nice. CONS: I understand you're in the city and its upscale but the prices were a little to high for what you were getting, especially with the food. The wait staff, despite being nice, were also a little pushy by asking up repeatedly what we wanted to order. OVERALL: I'm definitely coming back to this rooftop bar. It's very nice, and theres only background music, not live music. I like that cause I can actually speak to people
One of my favorite rooftop bars (for the view). Interesting location. Pretty far west, but completely unobstructed views of midtown skyline. Surprisingly not that packed on a Saturday night. Definitely busy, but there was some open seating and plunty of standing space. Good mix of tourests and locals. Drinks are expensive, but strong. Will definitely be back.
If you love the ambience of a city roof top bar this place is for you. If you like paying 18 dollars for a Jameson with ginger ale this place is also for you. Me, I'm more of a "let's get to know each other without screaming your head off because you can't hear each other from 10mm away" kind of guy. That coupled with being able to buy a whole bottle of jameson for 40 bucks... I'll say, this place is not my style. But definitely a great place if you're looking for ambience.
Really great view. Great place to socialize. Pricey drinks but great place to start your night of bar hopping.
Gorgeous views from this Bar, expensive drinks as in all NY but its worthy, its modern, chic and nice seating areas outdoors and indoor. No smoking allowed not even outdoor. Bartender was friendly and make good drinks. Good crowd mostly young under 30. Lounge music. I stayed at the hotel so have direct acces as a guess. I suggest you call before you visit.
Cocktails and the snack were pretty nice Great view and vive. I had really great time.
Beautiful views, great bar service, excellent food options
Lovely rooftop bar with fantastic views of the NYC skyline. Not cheap but well worth it.
The Press Lounge is sleek and spacious, but it’s also a little bit out of the way. Although if you can convince all of your friends to meet you here, you can enjoy some truly top-notch views. This is the bar on the roof of the Ink48 Hotel in Hell’s Kitchen, and it’s a little more upscale. Not black-tie upscale, but your drinks aren’t going to be cheap. There might be a wait to get in, but it’s worth checking this place out the next time you catch a show at Terminal 5 or see something on Broadway and feel like grabbing a drink after.
Beautiful rooftop lounge minutes from Times Square with breath taking views of the city! The drink are good but like everything in NYC are over priced. A good way to pace yourself I guess. Seating is on a first come basis, but in the covered area you don't have to wait to long. The reasons for not giving 5 stars is the bathroom situation... I understand a long line for a busy place, but for a coed bathroom. My wife was turned off by that and then the line for the elevator to leave. I would still come back overall.
We loved our time at the Press Lounge despite the intermittent rain. Great views from the outside and a neat vibe going on inside. We'll be back. Great place to watch the sunset!
Very nice view. But a bit pricey
Can’t beat the views from rooftop. The drinks are on the slightly pricier side. Service was good and love the ordering process it is all automated where once waiter puts in order bar starts to make it. all in all a wonderful place for a drink before dinner. Get the pretzel if wanting something to snack on. Went in winter def a place you want to go when the weather gets better.
One of the best rooftop bars in New York. Clean, cozy and 100% non-smoking bar.
I would consider this a best kept secret for its views of the city and rooftop hangout spot. Cocktails were delicious but priced for NYC. Nice spot to continue a date or business meeting. Lots of different nooks for conversations and gathering so it could accommodate small groups. I'll be back if I'm in the city.
Why Yes, I will go to a lounge that has a commanding view of manhattan, great drinks, food and fabulous bartenders and servers. Not in a place that you would think would have an amazing view, because if its location on the Hudson and on the west side with lower building all around it, the view is most amazing.
A really fun rooftop with amazing cocktails and a fantastic vibe.
One of the best place in nyc. Amazing view, hip hop music, very nice cocktails and friendly staff. You must visit this place and take a beautiful picture
Awesome place.I love it beautiful view nice music
Drinks are pricy, but the views are magnificent!
One of the most amazing views for a rooftop bar in midtown. I always bring guests who visit New York for the first time here to impress them with the views but also give them a chance to take some Instagram worthy pics. The drinks are a bit on the pricey side
Beautiful view to enjoy with friends ❤️
Best place in town if you like high rise lounges, with indoor and outdoor seating. Great service as expected. Elegance is this.
Solid choice for catching up with old friends, grabbing drinks and sharing appetizers. Rooftop bar is a must.
bartender was very rude , when he asked me for my ID , when I give him my credit card to pay the bill Good and quiet place you can enjoy talking with friends and watching the beautiful view of Manhattan and the Hudson River they have good cocktails
Good cocktails, nice view and good service. Very boring though
Super nice rooftop view! Drinks are a bit expensive and the staff wasnt super attentative, but the view is worth it.
Upscale bar at the riverside rooftop with amazing views of the Hudson. Definately a place for a date, or maybe finding one.
Very limited menu. Dinner go is you're hungry. It's a shame because the rooftop is very nice
View is very pretty. A rare view in NYC at some of natures beauty instead of just buildings. Sunset on the river looks beautiful from here. They have good overall service too.
Always a great experience at this bar. Happy hour is the best. Got here around 6pm and got a table to keep us going through the night .. staff is nice and drinks are strong.
Incredible views north, south, east, and west. Attentive service and all the drinks you expect in a high-end bar.
Absolutely gorgeous views from this rooftop bar. I went around 7pm so there wasn't too much of a crowd and I was able to sit but also walk around in the open area and just check out the views from every direction. Drinks are really pricey ($18 for a whiskey sour) but it wasn't watered down at least. It's more about the views here.
Great rooftop bar with place to hangout with friends and take in the amazing views. Very large inside. Dress code so don’t come in with jeans and a baseball cap.
Great staff, amazing views. Very much appreciated an option to be inside or out and still enjoy the rooftop atmosphere.
Amazing location and the views from this premium rooftop bar are simply breathtaking! A great way to see the NYC skyline and river. Staff are quick and cocktails quality. However...just be prepared to pay more for drinks as the location speaks for itself. AWESOME...
Terrible Drinks (no good taste at all) in plastik cups. Nice staff but in the end just okay... the view is phenomenal but this isn‘t special in NYC...
Grotesquely expensive. Bottled water is $11, Stella Artois, Pacifico, $12, margaritas $20-$28 each. Great view, but you really pay for it. Don't even think about eating anything unless you plan to refinance your mortgage. The staff micromanage the place, including a hapless bathroom attendant. Nicer areas of the roof are shut down for private events. Don't go here.
I absolutely loved the view here! The bartenders were extremely nice and friendly. It was very, very windy the day I went and my hair was all over the place
Nice spot. Good vibe for a Saturday night.
The best roof top bar in terms of NYC view. It’s on the corner and by the river so you have NYC skyline on 2 sides and another side you see beautiful Hudson River with Jersey Skyline. It’s not a party place though but more of place to hangout with your friends. Light music and plenty of sitting space by the long pool. It’s not for swimming though.
A group of 8 ladies showed up here for drinks, and we had a hard time finding space for the 8 of us. We moved a couple of chairs and the waitress ran over to tell us we couldn't do that, very frustrating seeing as how we were about to spend a decent amount of money as a big group. Ended up having to wait a while to get a space big enough for us.The service here is slow, the drinks are just ok (nothing ground breaking for $20, and their non-alcoholic 'special' drink cost more than a glass of wine). Overall, the space is decorated nicely and on a sunny day would be a gorgeous setting but its not a place I would head back to in a rush, especially when there are so many rooftops to choose from. This one just does not stand out.
Go to the Fleur Room - same prices, but better views and better cocktails
Beautiful view, great cocktails! Good vibe! Open till late! Love it!
Fantastic views. The service was the only part that was lacking. I waited 30 minutes before getting a drink from the bar directly. Got service after that. Really was 2 or 3 stars because I think service is very important but the view and atmosphere earned it an undeserved star!
Great place with amazing view of the city and river
The place is just awesome. With amazing city views (times square, empire estate building etc) from its rooftop, it's one of the best rooftops I've been in NY. Their drinks are OK. I just had one which was not that great. They have a nice lighted pool on the rooftop and a heated indoor space for winters. On top of that, it's FREE entry with a dress code. I would definitely go there again
Terrific views but very small space.
Great rooftop bar. Drinks are pricey but you pay for the view!
Great views. Fun environment. Be prepared for high prices for drinks.
The ambiance and views are amazing. The drinks are more expensive because there is no cover charge or bottle requirements to enter like most NYC rooftop bars/lounges. The music is set at a low volume and the vibe is more relaxed yet sophisticated than most bars I’ve been to. I definitely return and recommend this spot to others.
Cozy place with nice view on the empire. Not too crowded. Service is smiling and efficient. Cocktail are good. They sometimes offer a free glass of sparkling wine if you arrive early.
Awesome roof top bar for great drinks and atmosphere
I am shocked for the horrible service that i got tonight. The way the manager spoke with us was not nice after so many times coming to this business
Loved it! Beautiful. What a view of the city
The views are breathtaking, this place is so cozy and comfortable. I love it!!!! I will return with more friends.
This place is really cool! The view is incredible. Strongly recommend.
Gorgeous view. Chill vibe.
