Went to the Mazi to celebrated my cousin birthday. My husband got kick out for standing in line to the bathroom. A fight happen next to the bathroom and about 15 people got kick out including my husband. Which he had no part of the fight. The bouncer are very rude and wouldn't let him inside. I would never go back there. If their run a business like this they will lose a lot of money.Worst club EVER. The clubs needs to rehired new security!!!

Hookah service is very bad !!! I'm a very loyal client ,once I have good experience I will be back and recommend for friends and family . BUT when the place charge you 35$ for hookah with easy light charcoal and not give you replacement !!!! I will never back this place!! There is higher quality place in Manhattan that charge less and give better service. The guy Brian is very not nice and dont how to treat clients.

The music was great once we got inside. It was freezing outside and the bouncers took forever to check everybody. If you are going to be so skeptical with your check, invest in a metal detector instead of having rude 'door check people'. The drinks were ok at best and bottles are overpriced for small groups. Maybe it works out better if you buy more and with a bigger group (so everyone can chip in).

my friends and i arrived here shortly before 6pm tonight for the strictly soca sundays event. when we asked at the door if it had started yet we were told to wait about 15 minutes. we waited until after 6:30 when a female member of the party asked to go in to use the restroom, she was welcomed. when a male member of the party asked if he could use the restroom a short while later, he was told by a female bouncer "nah you're a nxgga, you can pee outside". he asked not to be referred to as such while a male bouncer told him it was fine to use the restroom; he declined. about an hour later our party was ready to enter the establishment and one of the ladies asked the female bouncer about the prior happening, and quickly she became defensive and said the gentleman from before couldn't come in. she then proceeded to lie and say it never happened, then finally changed her story and said it was a joke. we discussed the situation with two other male bouncers and asked to speak to someone from management. a young gentleman came out, said he was a manager and when we explained the situation to him, and his first reaction was to say that what was said was taken out of context.

One of the worst clubs I’ve ever been to. Went for an event they hosted with Shenseea performing. The bouncers are extremely rude. This was basically a concert and extremely crowded. They had small tables up front by the stage and had hookah and bottle service on them which was crazy and impractical at a crowded show. There were people smoking hookah on the floor which is a safety hazard. Everything seemed very unprofessional and not planned out. Honestly this place should be shut down.

Went to Mazi last night. It was a nice crowd, older, which I did not expected but I was very pleased (as I prefer it being like that) We had a good time as we were mainly there celebrating one of our friends 29th bday, all the way to the end of the night that is. One of mazi security was seen speaking to two guys pointing at my husband. As we were walking out to leave the guys came from behind my husband and punched him, hit me and my sister-in law. Sprained my ankle, got punch in the face by the duded, my sister in law was also punched. We spent our entire night in the VIP mostly. We're not the fighting or clubbing type. So I am disgusted at the way we were treated. And we knew the security guard set it up because he was seen talking to the same guys and pointing at my husband. Please some of these bouncers are very aggressive and can cause so much more harm than protection. Same Security sexually harassed my husband when we first got there!!! Don't even bother trying to get help from management because they will never respond!!! If u like ur LIFE DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Booked a VIP section for my birthday. Was told that if I got a 4 bottle service I would have my own section off the dance floor but this is not what I got. Security at the door is very rude. I left my cake in the car went back to get it and they would not let me get back in without paying even though ladies are free till 12AM. If you leave and try to come back in they charge $20. Once we were in it took awhile to get the bottles and food because the waitress are hard to get a hold of. Customer service is terrible. I contacted one of the staff via text and he was not very helpful. Only plus is that the inside is spacious. Music was all West Indian all night. Would not go again.

Last Saturday 16th,friends and I when to this club to celebrate my birthday which we booked everything through this guy whose name is shottas.we ordered 5 different bottles packages,plus appetizers and hookahs.spending over $2000.two buzzer guys came to our table and one of them slide and my friend grabbed him from falling and the other guy which was with him wanted to fight and said I'll show u something and he went back and brought 2 bouncers.those bouncers ask no questions and came with an intention,grabbed my friend and put him outside.before all of this,we ordered & pay for appetizers and were brought not even half of our stuff.the hookahs guys took money like 3 times said they going for change and never came back.so when a few of my friends went to talk to those bouncers to explain what happened, they were grabbed by there neck and got thrown out, plus my girlfriend which a man bouncers handled her and he not supposed to touch her.they didn't even want us to get our coats and when we asked to speak to the manager the bouncers said they are the bosses over here we can't speak to no one over them so I would advise everyone whose going to mazi nightclub to be very careful and aware of what is going on and further more I even called the Business Bureau and they are under investigation right now.

This place is really bs I went there with my friends for my 21sg bday and I asked the bouncer how is it inside i took his word becuz i had no reason to believe it was a lie, he said it was lit but I went inside and it was dead worst bar I ever been to and I'm not exaggerating please dont waste your time and money here biggest waste of 23$ I would have rather spent that on food tbh that's how bad it was. Great decor, perfect ambiance. Drinks & dj was fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is leaving 15 mins before closing because young, drunk 21 year olds are outside carrying on and arguing. Leave before that occurs other wise this is definitely one of the best night clubs I've been to.

I am very outraged and disgusted in mazi buzzer & security employees.I always come here to party with VIP services.I book a VIP with three tables to accommodate twenty-five people,five different bottle packages,hookahs,and appetizers for a birthday celebration Saturday 16th.I spend over $2000 plus each one of my people pay $20 to get in the club.two of the buzzer boys came to our section to clear the table up.one of them get into a small misunderstanding with my friend.In five minutes,the buzzer guy came back with two securities,to put my friend out and those securities didn't care to hear what really was said,when I try to solve the situation with them,they asking me if I want to go too,really? When other friends tried to talk they were choke and violented and we all was put out.We even ask who's in charge and they said them.we left behide about 5 bottles of liquor we didn't open,hookahs and appetizers..... how unnecessary and unprofessional...

Came here for my 35th birthday two days ago, and I couldn’t have asked for a better night club here in Queens. Mazi really brought the life back into Queens. Came here for my bachelorette party and I wouldn’t have it any other way! There are two lounges and they hosted separate events. It’s a huge space and the hookah and drink staff come right up to you. I will NEVER return to this lackluster establishment. This subpar "club" is severely overpriced, and the management all the way down to the lowest level employee have an elevated sense of self-worth. To begin, it costs several hundred dollars to obtain a "section" (really a small couch fitting only three at a time), but guests of the person with said section still have to pay a minimum of $20 ($30 after 12am) to enter. Be prepared to also spend dozens of dollars on watered down drinks and unsavory food. Furthermore, the workers have no interest in providing even a modicum of adequate service. Everything is lackluster and all requests are met with resentment. It's location in Jamaica, Queens is questionable at best since it is known to be rife with crime. I literally witnessed a club patron get attacked and robbed approximately 600 feet from the front door while leaving… In short this place is a cesspool. I would suggest everyone exhaust every other option for night life before you even consider going there. Staying home is even more preferable.

I get there at about 11ish. I'm thinking VIP, I walk through the door and I'm frisked by the gaurd. Ok no big deal, you're doing your job, keeping me safe. Then she proceeded to send me to the window to pay a fee to get in (I heard before midnight is free). If you don't know the rules you're screwed. I get in and told the hostess I'd like a VIP section(fyi no such thing in the actual dance floor). Of course I'm given a table where else but the dance floor(super disappointed) I should mention it's my nieces birthday atleast $2500 was spent on drinks...we won't unclude food and the cover charge for the 15 guys that joined us. Trashy I'd say so. Nothing high end nothing upscale. I'd definitely think twice before going there again. Thank god I have brooklyn!!!!!

If u like high octane Caribbean music, Mazi is the place. Bring yr dancing shoes because u will be jumping out of yr seats. DJ King Sing is the best. Very strict security and dress code. This is high class all the way. C u people there.it was shameful tho that last Sat a white police-looking security guard abused and violently pushed and shamed an older looking dad bringing his daughter to the club. The guard had such a violent response to the mans question that He chest pushed the man to the middle of the street where traffic was coming. Then proceeded to challenge anyone who came to the mans defense. The most blatant abuse I have ever witness at Mazi. Been a regular at the club, I will not set foot there again until this menace of a guard is removed. It was disgraceful and criminal what was done to this man.

This nightclub is THE WORST nightclub ive ever been to. I attended for my cousins birthday, (today) and the bouncer at the door immediately asked me several questions about my ID, my birthdate, my height, my address. I used my New York State issued ID in California(where I live), and I get asked zero questions. My license is also enhanced, why would I try to use a fake ID at Mazi nightclub. I've been to more upscale clubs in Manhattan and was never questioned at the door, mind you I'm a female. We had bottle service at our table and the staff was inattentive, had attitudes, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE all around, the club was also empty as hell. You can see the dance floor- embarrassing. I will not recommend this club to anyone, and will never attend again. I don't go out for fun when visiting New York to have a ver piss poor experience. There are so many rules at this club as well. I can't deal. The bouncer at the door was giving me major attitude as well. I literally answered all his questions and I feel like he thought he had "power" and was trying to intimidate me, my ID photo looks exactly like me. Please spare yourself the overpriced entrance fees, overpriced drinks and poor experience all together. ZERO STARS.

Returned the next night (Friday) with my sister and the people at the door said my sisters ID was fake ( IT WAS NOT FAKE) ... Let's not forget she used the same ID on Thursday and got in with no problem... The girl at the door was rude... I now give this place a ZERO!!!! Never have I been escorted or thrown out of anywhere before in my 33 years. It's true, the bouncers here are on ego trip and think they are something special. After spending $50 per tics to see wack performer/singer Sheensea, 4 henney and a bottle Ciroc, I almost got thrown out. We were a group of 11. Move from one room to the next and on my way back, this Spanish looking dude decided to walk through the crowd by parting with his hands. He pushed me and so I pushed back and before you know it, this idiot decided to grab me by my shoulders and tell me to leave.... like are you out your mind grabbing a female like that? Long story short we sorted out the issue with another bouncer and got back in. I WOULD NEVER EVER SPEND money there again. I felt highly disrespected and this is why I normally hang out in the city with a mixed crowd. This was definitely not my cup of tea. A bunch of lil wanna be's walking around and obnoxious bouncers. They need to be more respectful. I'm still feeling violated. And lastly the performer came out after 3am.and performed for 15. Unbelievable!!

Went there last night with a few friends and family. My girlfriend put her purse in my jacket and I left my chain in my jacket pocket. We left the jacket at coat check. When we returned to coat check the chain and money from her purse was gone. She lost a little more than 200. So if you go there make sure you leave your stuff at home because they will steal it. Pretty sure they go through everyone's jacket and coats and see what's inside of them. The drinks was ok. Watered down like everyone else says. This club used to be good but no more. Look how old all of the five star reviews are and they did not even describe their experience just 5 stars. I wonder why. If I could I would give this place 0 stars. They don't even deserve 1 star

I came to this night club with my girlfriend to celebrate a friends birthday on a Saturday night supposedly Saturday's is the night clubs best day. We were going for our first time and the club had advertised that a celebrity who is popular amongst Dominicans who goes by the name of Messiah was coming. My girlfriend and I arrived at 1:15am and there was no line we just went straight in which gave me the assumption that the club was not full at all. As soon as we go to the clerk they were charging $45 and $40 for my girlfriend. My intuition was correct the club was not full and it was not full even to the end of the night. Thou I had a great time celebrating my friends birthday I felt that the club purposely misrepresented and mislead the club goers and purposely overcharged at the door. The Dj kept shouting on the mic that if we were all ready for Messiah and or Messiah is about to perform as if to hype up the patrons. However the artist Messiah never arrived and they had an unknown female performer instead. By the end of the night the club never even apologized nor did they give an explanation. Principles and honesty is what I live by and to me that says so much about this place. This club straight out mislead for the intent to profit majorly. My girlfriend and I won't be visiting this place again.

This was my 4th time here [01.12.19] but first time during the winter season & definitely my last. The organization and layout of the club is problematic. The security check with the unnecessarily rude bouncers is expected. But once you enter the club, it starts: there is a line to pay for admission which is guided by the retractable barrier tape that starts from door. Then you have a guy inside yelling for those who have a free pass to come through, but how is one to pass if you're trapped by the the barrier tape? Then theres $3 coat check, as if you didn't just pay to get in. Could've just added that to the admission fee in the beginning so you could just drop your coat off without it being a super long line. The ambiance is pretty and the music and bottle service is great as well, expensive, but you have to deal if you want a VIP. Now.. exiting the club..OH MY GOD. DISASTER. For starters, you can't exit the club from where you entered even though its closer to the coat check booth. You have to exit from where the bathrooms are. Only one door was open and by 3:45 there is already a crowd of severely drunk and rowdy people trying to get their coats. Yet, the coat check wasn't open until 4. THAT MAKES NO SENSE since people are leaving prior to 4am, someone should be there throughout the night. The crowd started to yell and push the other door open while pushing others in the process which resulted in fights. i didn't exit the club until an HOUR later [445] which was ridiculous! Also having so many people waiting on line like that in the corridor is a FIRE HAZARD. Seriously, for such an "upscale place" theres so much chaos.

Absolutely Loved It! I came here for my 25th birthday with my best friends and it was beautiful. Mazi offers you drinks, food, and hookah, which very few clubs do. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday. The SOCA DJ was amazing, and I loved my night there

The place seem really nice but your security team at the door mainly needs more professionalism I wont be returning sad to say but your establishment is gonna go down hill if your security at the door knew how to speak with people and not have such a nasty attitude I would not run my business like this at all I want to make the money by listening to my. Ustomers and or guest who have paid their money.

The music was poppin and the place was lit! DJs played a range of EDM, hip hop, and reggae. Really enjoyed with my girls. Their service is really fast and I got my drinks and food served to the table. It’s a huge space so you’re sure to enjoy

Words can’t even describe how much of a great time my friends and I had this past Saturday to celebrate my birthday. Our host Drew made this the best nightlife experience I’ve ever had (and I rarely go out because of the horrible experiences i’ve had at other venues).. but this was definitely the best. We were hooked up with an amazing VIP section that could fit 20-25 people comfortably. The bottle service was great- especially for the cost. Drew went above and beyond to make sure everyone in my party left happy. Definitely would come back again and would suggest to request Drew to help set up your event.

Worse experience. Came here for a family members birthday who chose this place because he always has a great time. He turned 21 and wanted to celebrate at his favorite club. They put us in a VIP and decided to move us at 12 am . We cooperated and moved but guess what. They moved us in a whole different room, they didn’t even try to accommodate us in the same room we were in. Plus we spent over $500 dollars and it seemed like that didn’t matter. Never coming back.

This club is nice..the interior is one of best in queens ..I went on Sat night..on international side which supposed to be west indian..but the dj suck played bunch of edm music lol..bartenders are gorgeous!!

Mazi should stop having their employees write fake reviews for them.. almost half of the reviews here are from their employees. This is the worst place to hold any events, everything here is over charged from the admission fee to drinks, security sucks and you can't have a stand up table if you don't have 2 bottles on it. The only reason I go here is to show up for my friends birthday.. other than that i would have never .. its the worst place to be.

One problem the the bottle price is out of line $275 for a bottle of henny thats out of line remember this is queens not Manhattan fix bottle price and the club will even make way more because people stay away because of the loud bottle price

No stars ! Horrible service starting from the door. The bouncers think they’re police officers lmao . It was my bday and I asked the promoter to hold a section for me I even offered to pay in advance but he said when I come I pay. When I got there all Vip sections were taken . Had to leave cause they were also giving my guest a hard time. Don’t waste ya time going there !

I went on a Saturday night with a friend. We paid our admission checked our coats and stepped into arguably one of the nicest clubs (ambiance wise) in New York. The layout, lighting, bar positioning stage etc was a breath of fresh air. However the poor customer service ruined my experience. My date and I each had our own hookah, paid admission, ordered about 3 round of drinks etc. I placed an order for fries with the bartender, or so I thought I did. An hour goes by I ask her about the fries. She walks towards the register fumbles with her phone looks around and tells me 5 more minutes. Another 40+ minutes go by. My dates asks her about the fries she tells him that orders for food can not be made with bartenders. He disappears and comes back with the waitress and explains the situation. She comes over, to tell me that I can't place orders with bartenders and what their policy is (2+hours later of course). I then ask her as a customer there for the first time how I would be expected to know what the policy was and why the bartender did not feel compelled to let me know the 2x I inquired about ordering the fries. She shrugged, fake laughed and walked away. My date at this point went to speak to the manager who brushed it off and gave him a cup of complementary soup. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. We spent over $200 dollars, tipped the bartenders etc and they ruined my night for $6 French fries and I never got an apology. As clearly the bartender was in error but tried to play stupid. I waited over 2 hours for french fries that would never come. Its not hard to provide good service especially if you want New Yorkers to spend their hard earned money.

I wish there was 0 starts for this this club. Worst place ever. Travelled all the way from Toronto to visit this place and came to find out at entry no T-shirt’s were allowed in. Yet the bouncer at entrance would allow his friends with T-shirt. Would now recommend this place. Spend your money somewhere else!!!

EVERYTHING WAS FINE TIL ONE OF THEIR STAFF WHOM WAS IN REGULAR CLOTHES AND WITH A FEMALE. THEY HAD HOOKAH AND DRINKS, SITTING IN THE SECTION I PAID FOR. I ASKED HIM TO GET UP, HE GOT AN ATTITUDE AND TOLD ME "WATCH" . I continued to ENJOY MYSELF WITH ABOUT 10 OTHERS IN THE SECTION, I PAID FOR. THEN THE SECURITY COMES AND TELLS ME I HAVE TO LEAVE FOR BEING DISRESPECTFUL TO STAFF. I TELL THEM IM NOT LEAVING. I WAS ESCORTED OUT EVENTUALLY AND IMMEDIATELY PEPPER SPRAYED WHEN WE GOT TO THE ENTRANCE/EXIT. MY OTHER TWO BROTHERS WERE ALSO SPRAYED AND A FEMALE THAT WAS WITH US WAS PUNCHED IN THE FACE. I DIDNT RECEIVE ANY MONEY BACK, BIRTHDAY CAKE I PAID FOR DISAPPEARED AND I WAS PEPPERED SPRAYED. IM FILING A LAW SUIT AND THIS CLUB WILL BE CLOSING DOWN SOON. I PROMISE. ALL THIS HAPPENED BECAUSE SOMEONE I DIDNT KNOW SAT IN MY SECTION AND HE HAPPENED TO BE STAFF (OFF-DUTY). I'VE NEVER BEEN TREATED THIS WAY BEFORE IN MY LIFE.

Never again... the bouncers are very rude... i didnt even bother to go inside... in most of the reviews the bouncers are disrespectful... OWNERS IF YOU WANT MORE BUSINESS HIRE NEW BOUNCERS. I've been many places around world and i never experience such ghetto behavior... people in the slums have better attitudes, than those young minded immature individuals. Smh... dont bother to ever go here... anywhere else but here...

Went there last night with a group of friends. Spoke to the bartender and she told me if I bought a bottle I could get a stand up table. I bought the bottle so we got the table. Later in the night the "manager" comes to our table and told us that we had to move tables because the one we were at was for promoters. I honestly didn't care who the table was for. I made an agreement with and employee that represents your establishment, honor it and figure your problem out. I expressed my issues to the "manager" who seemingly had nothing else to say other than, she shouldn't have done that. The odd part is, if it was a rule or whatever, the bottle lady delivered the bottle to the table, shouldn't she have said something. Regardless, we moved tables. I used to come here when it was mazi. It's not mazi. It's worst. The place is ran by a bunch of kids. Rules and regulations are only applied to certain people. I.e. My buddy couldn't bring his ecig in, but there were various others who had them. I still had fun with my group of friends. This place is trash compared to what is was when it was moka.
