The night club should do better!! How dare the manager and door me didn't let my friends and I inside the club last night. We spend amount of money for a birthday celebration in the restaurant. The manager of the club gave us a hard time for what??? While we were waiting in the line....We had our receipts and our guest passes ready for a promotion. Still they gave us much of excuses. I feel this was very unfair and discrimination to my friends and I. What I saw and experience this is not mamajuana. People come to eat spend money and have a good time!! Please do better and look into it! Thank you very much!

Went there last night with a group of 8. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place! Staff was amazing the food was perfect and the drinks was so yummy!!! It was such a fun time. Already planning to go for brunch:) you wont regret coming here trust me!

There is music in the background (mostly latín music) and people talking around you But you have your own space in your table. Great to go to in the morning but mostly in the Night because the lights are not too bright and its nice. The drinks as well as the desserts are awesome. My father Javier Fernandez loved it too. I always heard about this place so it was only right to check them out. Came in on Sunday brunch and it was nice. They have buffet style food which was good but babyyyyy those unlimited mimosas were BOMB. I can't even tell how many I had because the waiters didn't even wait for your glass to finish, they were refilling! I love it! The manager came over which was nice of him to introduce and welcome. Whoever the dj(s) were, they were good as well! Ppl were eating, dancing and just having a good time.. on a Sunday!! Lol I will definitely come back.

We went for a birthday dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant was busy but we were well take care of. The restaurant has more like a bar ambiance with DJ and party music on the weekends their appetizers to share were really good. It was a good start. Then the sangria, the entrees and the desserts everything went great. I will definitely come back or do and event with them.

The appetizers were absolutely amazing especially the mofongos one of the best I've ever had and the fish was cooked and seasoned to near perfection. The atmosphere was nice good music and our waiter was amazing as well. We went for my moms birthday had a great time and the manager thanked us personally for coming very kind and professional. They also have hookah service if your into that stuff, finally I highly recommend this place will be coming back with the family.

Its Tuesday but in Mamajuana looked like Friday. Executive service. Amazing food (Guava con queso empanadas it's a MUST). Drinks to the top. Decor stunning. Bathroom perfect clean. Hookah on the point. Easy parking. Coat check. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

I went to brunch with a group recently. The loud music and DJ telling people to scream every 5 minutes inhibited any conversation. The people that came here just to eat then have to push through the party crowd of bouncing oblivious people with a plate of food. Sticky floors, cheap plastic cups, and mediocre staff add to the setting. Not a nice location either. Only positive thing was the brunch food was good.

The club part is horrible. What I thought to be a random guy grabbed my friends purse from the chair next to me. When I told him it was my friend’s purse he said “you just threatened me”. He called 3 security guards so we can be removed from the club. I was not aggressive and did not once threaten him and he was wearing a green polo. Nothing that said security or a name tag. Thank god I was the designated driver or else that guy could have easily robbed my friends purse. He clearly wanted me out because I caught him trying to take the bag. The reason i gave it 2 stars and not 1 is because the Restaurant portion was good. Good and fast service, and food was good. Long story short, go to the restaurant not the shady club.

I celebrated my 55th birthday there on August 24 I had 20 people there for brunch. I had an amazing time. The staff was great, the music was great, the drinks was yummy, and the food was delicious. Will definitely go back. Made great memories there for my birthday.

I had an incident where I had to get involved to a guy from bothering my Girlfriend when all she wanted to was use the rest room. So I'm just stating what I've experienced.

This is a Hispanic buffet. You can also make reservations for groups of 10 or more with the choice for unlimited mimosas and orange sangria. The unlimited drinks are a bit watered down, but not bad. Depending on what time you go to the restaurant, you can get different foods. In the morning, the food is mostly breakfast with someone there preparing omelettes. If you go in the afternoon there's someone preparing sushi rolls. The food was good, but not great. It is definitely a nice place to have brunch, though.

Great place to spend the night or celebrate and occasion. I was there for a friends birthday and she loved it. A bit pricey but i think is worthy. Food was good but the margaritas from JP at the bar were excellent.i had the mix patterns,beef,chorizo,chicken and more it was plenty for two. I'll definitely go back soon.

I was here today with a reservation for my birthday and was taken right away to our table. The service we had with our waitress Karla and the staff was great. Food was great. Never was rushed. They let us take our time and kept refilling our glasses. We had a cake and was greeted with a team singing "Happy birthday" really nice. We even had cake and cappuccino. They all gave us A "mamajuana" shots. Music was great. Thank you Karla and the staff for a great birthday dinner. We will plan a night out soon to visit your night club lounge. Thank you again.

I liked the space, it is pretty big and very high ceiling. I liked the music they were playing and the drinks also were good. I went there around 11:00-11:30pm and as you can see from the photos there were few people, then later on it started to fill up.

$2 Tacos and $2 Margaritas Tuesday’s are great! You have to order three tacos to get them for $2 and the deal is from 4pm to 8pm! Great place to go after work!!

My boyfriend and I decided to go Tuesday evening. Our bartender was very attentive. As well as restaurant manager. The food , drinks and hookah was amazing. I ordered crispy red snapper with stuffed crab meat and coconut Cerole sauce. My boyfriend ordered shrimp in garlic sauce. We were treated so lovely. Tasty tasty!!! Highly recommended

Panera is always good. My only issue were the dirty tables right in the middle of the day. Most of the empty tables had something on them, and no one was going around cleaning them. I had to clean it myself.

To add to my friends review no MY HUSBAND was not passed out drunk he was tired from work so there is a difference so learn the difference between drunk and tired and I dont wanna hear he should of stayed home it was my birthday so of course he came out after working a 12 hr shift and also u have people waiting outside online over stupid emails when u see we spent over 500 dollars to eat in your restaurant never took 45 mins to get into a place over an email any other place show receipt ok go in we should not have had to wait and of course ppl r gonna get an attitude when u are accusing them of being intoxicated u ppl need to get it together when people pay money in ya restaurant let them in without issues simple as that And I'mma say this again NO ONE IN MY GROUP WAS INTOXICATED!!!!!! when you spend over 500 bucks obviously people are gonna be upset point blank

Had a nice family\friend group birthday celebration. We spent 500 plus was told with receipt. We can get in with no problems first they told us we had to wait for the whole group than when the whole group was ready there was more excuses to get in accusing. My nieces husband of being drunk due to waiting so long the man was tired coming from a 12 hour shift theres a difference between tired and drunk. Have your workers learn that. We should of took our money else where this place did not deserve that much money after treating us like garbage DO NOT!!! come here to spend that much money these people have no respect once you. Go to the club part. They forget there place think there big and bad like police officers when there just bouncers ITS REALLY O STARS but had no choice have to add 1

We spent over $500 for my friends birthday and were expecting to go into the club. Our husbands went to the store and weren't there by the time we were ready to go in they weren't there so they told us to step to the side, I thought it was nice that they were accommodating us. The men came back and the bouncers started playing games. They discriminated against us. They first made us wait 30 minutes and when we asked why were waiting they said "do you have your guest lists ready?" And no one had said anything about that before so we all pull out our phones to look at it and the bouncers turned around and kept letting other people in for another 15 minutes. We had our lists ready and then my friends husband was sitting down resting his head on the wall bc he was tired of waiting and just worked a very long shift. So we were ready with our guestslists then the bouncer hesitated looked around and said "hes with you? Hes not getting in." We explained he wasn't drunk and he was tired that he worked and hes tired from waiting on line this whole time. I do not drink at all and I could tell he wasn't drunk and that they were just provoking us to be upset so that we can't get in. I spoke to the manager Jose Cepine and he was making it worse provoking everyone else when we have been nicely asking to get in and then when we finally had enough and responded with frustration he was trying to make it seem that that was the reason we can't get in but hes actually provoking customers with the other manager. I asked for the manager and they said they were the manager. I then call the restaurant for their manager and the receptionist lies and said he left for the day. Then I go in person and she said again he left. I asked the other staff and they said he was there. Joseph the manager, pulled the whole "sorry we can't do anything about the club, you have to speak with the manager." I said Jose is the manager so I'm going to complain to him about him? And he was perfectly comfortable with 'I don't know' for an answer.' They did absolutely nothing and destroyed my friends birthday. The birthday girl is a mom of 2 crying on her birthday and finding out at 12-1 am when many places are closing that we are not getting in. The restaurant did not even offer 1 drink for her troubles. They saw that we were sober and frustrated and a very nice group. They did nothing to help and what upsets me the most is "joseph" tells me there's no corporate owner, no higher up to complain to!!. This was Saturday night 7/27/19. I do not like when places lie and give unprofessional culture that permeates from top to bottom. I have heard so many good things about this place but their club discriminates and the bouncers could have told us upfront instead of playing a game and having us look for our guest lists in our emails when they knew from the very beginning we couldn't get in. They provoke people and then use it as leverage to say they can't get in and they are the ones who were hired to keep everyone safe... we will next time spend our $500 in a place that will treat us well and not make my friend feel bad on her birthday. I just edited this just now to say how they responded to my friend Jennifer pichardo comment that one of the young ladies had an attitude (we were all laughing with them In the beginning with the curly hair bouncer) the conversation started off with please and thank you and we were practically friends. It wasn't an issue until our husbands showed up and then they said he was passed out after we explained the whole situation. Like I said I don't drink. ALSO a group of my women friends from college came in (they stood in line before us) and they were so drunk they couldn't even talk and they WALKED RIGHT IN !!

I was excited to come for an all girls dinner. I was upset that happy hour was only at the bar. Our waitress was rude she rushed us to order and wasn't happy to serve us , the food was fine but I know places that are less expensive with better service. This was my first visit to Mamajuana Cafe in Queens and I must say that I am delighted with the service. It took a while to be seated because they were doing the change of staff for the day, but it wasn’t too long of a wait. The staff was friendly, and the food was amazing. However, personally I would love this place to be more of a restaurant and less of a bar. The music is too loud for my taste, but if you like that type of environment this is a great place for you to go. Overall the experience was worth it

It's a great spot if you like smoking hooka and a lot of noise. The food is average, the DJ played so loud, you could not speak to each other. For me this is not a good spot, but if you like the things above it is a place for you. The staff was very courteous and nice. There was no complaint there.

Food is subpar, mostly a place for drinking and bachelorette parties. Went there for brunch and the mimosas were lukewarm. Cold beer was better than the specialty drinks, which were grossly sweet and gave me a headache. I wouldn't go back or reccomend.

Brunch lunch only 2 hrs for buffet dining $40.82 each person. Only valet parking charged us $10 before entering car was parked in the street. Did not stay for lunch. No refund in valet parking plus walked to car. I highly Do not recommend!!!!!

Food is alright, presentation is beautiful, staff is friendly but it’s super loud in the restaurant and it’s hard to have a conversation. Also bring your own coal if you’re going to hookah here because they charge an extra $15 for ONE COAL after the first one is finished. LOL

On Saturdays they have buffet style food with mimosas or sangrias and that is when i showed up with a group of friends. The food was incredible.. i can eat their mangu forever. The only thing that creeped me out a little is that I had to keep checking if my glass was clean. It looked so faded that it made me nervous so maybe replace old looking glassware.

My first experience here was their brunch and it was AMAZING! Bottomless mimosas and rum punch and buffet. Food was ok, not amazing but had good flavor. It wasn't the kind of food I expected a place named Mamajuana would have, but still good. DJ was great, great environment. Will definitely be back!
