I would rate this place a zero if possible. Customer service is extremely terrible and security is super rude. I purchased a round of shots for my friends and I. I did NOT know I was not to take my already paid for shots to the table myself and especially when the snobby bartender woman doesn't share that information and even worst when she let's security yell at you knowing she did not explain the policy to you. A server could have been called to assist to maintain the policy Since they sometimes float around on the floor. The situation could have been handled better. Their reinforcement of rules is implemented in an intimidating and rude manner. And there isn't enough seating.

First time here in the 6 years they've been open. Here for a local indie band and JD McPherson show. Very weird. Strange signs about no gang apparel and to leave the parking lot by 2am or cops are called. Other weird things: then I walked in I thought I was in the wrong place; seniors were at the door checking IDs, tickets, etc. So, little old ladies and men as bouncers. Thought I was here for bingo at first. Nice folks, just, well...different. The sound seems okay for a live music venue. Two long 53ft bars...yup, 106 liner feet of bar and yet no beers on tap; all bottles and cans (so just clap your hands) and they cost twice as much as the weak sports bar next door. I think they have a mechanical bull, but it isn't out this evening (in fact, they're normally closed on Mondays and this is a Monday...Which explains the lackluster crowd for a national touring act. Smoking patio in back. We're it not for the bands playing tonight, it probably wouldn't be worth the $20 Uber ride. Your mileage may vary.

I was denied entrance when sober because I was "walking funny" despite being sober. While waiting outside for an uber, another couple was kicked out for appearing too intoxicated. Maybe it was just the guy at the door, but I wouldn't recommend this club to anyone else.

This is a homophobic bar. My gf and i were there for a few hrs... We went to the bathroom and then walked out together to look at the mirror together, we then were approached by several bouncers to go outside clueless as to why... We proceeded.... I happened to be wearing a crop top. They accused me of flashing the entire bar. We immediately knew something was sketchy and felt we were being harrassed. All I was doing was fixing my hair in the mirror while my gf had her arm wrapped around me. It was innocent. Once we accused them of harrassing us... We couldnt understand why.. Then realized they were discriminating us for being gay women. They got wierd. And immediately told us to leave. All of our belongings were inside.. Jacket, phone, and wallet and friends. Obviously we wouldnt leave without those but they refused to let us retrieve them. In the meantime.. Which took atleast 10 min for them to come out with our stuff i was sure to tell them the truth. They all stood as if they didnt care. Yet we had done nothing wrong. We will never return. Dont go there if you are gay or a gay advocate.

It has a club style outdoor line at night which kinda sucks during winter. It's definitely a party bar and more lively. Spacious dance floor with live music on weekends. Bar service was quick and easy to access. Not terribly expensive but expect to spend money on cover and drinks.

So this is a collection of the many times that I have been there for shows or just nights out. First of all, the location is easy to get in and out of if you are in a compact car or doing the Uber thing to get there. Most country fans do drive trucks, so the parking is tight and has poor flow. Once you get through the three step entrance process, props there for safety, you are in. If you arrive past 9, just expect to stand on a ramp or make new friends that might have a table. Music is usually great! We have been to three national/regional headliner shows there and they do a great job. The local "country bands" are more cover bands, so expect good dancing music but nothing phenomenal. Drinks are slightly overpriced, as expected, but better if you go to the bar to order versus expecting a waitress to return in under 30min. If you are expecting a dance hall the likes of Texas or Oklahoma, be forewarned it is far from that. The dance floor is very small and always packed. You have a collection of levels from those who are just learning to dance to those who think they are on 'Dancing with the Stars.' There is a HIGH chance of getting kicked in the head or ran over by someone who is energetically swing dancing to a slow dance song. I would say it is a one off, or just that one time, but out of the 20 or more times we have gone, I have been kicked three times and ran over by someone who was spinning with their partner that got away and ends up spinning into the crowds forced to stand on the walkways onto the dance floor. In Albuquerque, beggars can't be choosers, and this is all we got...

For as big as this place is when it is packed there is absolutely no room to move good music good drinks okay prices but at the end of the night it's still not my type of bar they need to think about upgrading and going to a new location possibly a warehouse they need more room

Lots of two stepping here and good country music. If you're looking to line dance prepare to be disappointed. While I was there the only highly participated in line dances were The Wobble, Cupid Shuffle, and Copperhead Road. I still had a great time and recommend the bar but I am used to line dancing half the night and two stepping half the night but every bar is different

I am not usually one to hangout at country bars despeite having grown up in the Midwest, but the lively atmosphere and mixed crowd was nice. Can be loud, but it's what you'd expect for this kind of thing. Dance lessons on Saturday bare a nice plus.

I went to this place and was denied entry because I would not let them scan my drivers license. They refused to do a visual check and I left instead of a fun evening. What ever happened to just being 21? This place does not respect peoples privacy rights! Drivers License scanners can collect your drivers license number, photo, address, and in some instances other very sensitive information. There is really no excuse for businesses storing customers personal information. Wouldn't recommend going there until they change their lousy policies and become customer friendly!

I love this place, one of my favorites in Albuquerque. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the live band is just too loud. Being on the dance floor, it's so loud your ears will physically hurt; and I'm a young person who loves going to loud concerts and blasting music in the car, but this was just TOO loud. The volume when they play music is awesome, but the bands play so loud I hate them automatically, depsite the fact that they're pretty talented. Bring cash when you go, they have excellent cash only door prices on drinks. Pros: Good drink specials ($2.50 well drinks before 10PM some nights) Pretty girls Large crowd Roomy dance floor Smoking area out back Cons: Music is way too loud!

Country Western saloon. Plenty of Dancing and good music. The staff is friendly and sociable. Overall the staff is top notch! This place is fun for two step dancing and learning how to dance. If your wanting to play shuffle board or pool they don't have a lot but some. Overall awesome atmosphere! :)

Went to watch will banister. Busy place, good variety of drinks, good sized dance floor, clean bathroom. Not enough tables with places to sit on a busy night. Bartenders were ok, took a while to even be seen sitting in a stool at the bar and only had 1 drink because of it. Pretty mellow atmosphere.

Worst experience bachelorette / bachelor party!!! Ive waited over a week to see if management would reach out to me about our experience. Im going to explain in detail. I messaged dirty bourbon on Facebook over a week before our reservation to book a reservation, I was told to come into the establishment and pay $100 for the VIP section, the manager was nice and charged my card texted me a receipt, told us we could decorate bring food/cake (no confetti) and my now husband DID NOT have any sexual decorations ( like most bachelor /bachelorette parties do). We had a cute pink and purple flower and balloon theme. The day of reservation Thursday 04/04/19 me and my party of 27 people ( we were told the section held 30) arrived before 8:30 because its ladies night and men get in free before 9pm. we decorated and set up (we were clean the whole time) my family are not big drinkers so we all mabey had 1 to 2 drinks max a person and most my family wasn't even drinking at all. We were there less than 2 hours and I requested the DJ play selena , all the guys were playing pool and darts in the back. We went on the dance floor to dance to selena and I was wearing big wedge heels and during the song DANCING I tripped on my heal and fell. I didn't get hurt We all laughed it off because I can be clumsy. Shortly after I went back to the pool table to meet my dad mom and the guys security came over and said there were "reports" I was falling all over the bar and dance floor, first off I NEVER ONCE went to the bar the entire night, the two drinks I got that night my guy cousin bought me and he went and got them for me, I never went to the bar. ( the waitress at our VIP section verified all our IDS when we got there). Anyway.... the security guy asked me to go outside with him so I agreed because I knew I did nothing wrong, nobody in my party acted up or disrespectful or acted drunk. I thought he wanted to see if I was okay. I went outside with him and that's when he said I could not go back in and my whole party needed to leave. I didn't agree and asked if my party could stay and I would go home, my dad who wasn't drinking was with me outside. When the security guard said no, I got upset and said I want my $100 back then, I fell on my heal not because im drunk. He would not listen, there was a huge line of people outside waiting to get in and later found out from a friend who used to work there that when the capcity is too full they start kicking people out to fit more people in ( so messed up) this company ruined our night , what should have been an amazing night with mine and my now husbands families before our wedding that upcoming weekend. They even kicked out my uncle because they said he was stubbling ( he has a walking Cain and can not drink at all he has medical issue and has had a stroke and they said he was drunk and kicked him out) this place is a joke, my mother in law and husband went back in and ended up getting a refund from the manager thank God but I spent my whole night crying so upset from how this place treated us. none of us will ever go back.

I’m so sad, I use to love this place. The newer staff and management that back them up make me sad. The newer staff can’t handle the business of the establishment and are so awful. I’ve been a server for years and I know how it is to be overwhelmed but to be absolutely rude and ignore paying customers is so rude. Im so disappointed and don’t know if it’s even worth ever going back again. Like I said overwhelmed is not a good feeling but making rude comments as a server is unacceptable. I’m sad and hope the servers I love will always do well with other careers that they get to choose. The rude ones, well I hope you face reality and learn how to treat people.

This was the worse place I have ever gone too!!i was treated so rude!! Due too triple seven at isleta casino being to packed we decided to try somewhere new to dance. I have bad feet but I love to dance my husband doesn’t drink at all. We were kicked out saying I was to intoxicated!! Two shots!!! Just because I use my husband to help me walk right! We didn’t cause a scene or do anything to deserve the way they treated us!! I will never be back!! To bad for this place I spend money and mind my own business!! I'm uber driver and I'm there 3 times a week. Last Saturday around 1.50am I needed to go to restroom real bad I'm 52 years old and have diabetes. When I asked at the door to use the restroom they disrespect me and said no you can't. Last nite I was in the parking lot in my car security from the bar came to me and said you can't park here you have to leave and I'm telling all uber cars and driver to move from here but I was the first one and only one he told rest I didn't I think they . He said he will call cops sure go ahead make my day. Employees of dirty bourbon needs to respect uber drivers they don't know what we go through. One time on Friday I pick ed the girl from m DB. she was so drunk that she made a big mess in my car. I'm sure they keep serving her alcohol without being careful. They also once kick black young student out who came out to smoke cigarette. After smoking he tried to go back in and they did not let him and saying that he is drunk. He took my ride to go home and he did not have single drink. I think those guys are prejudice and racist. They kicked me out of parking lot but not other drivers. Cause I'm Indian and they didn't let the guy in cause he is black.They served too much drink to the girl who made mess in my car cause she is white. Administration should look into that before this issue go far away and city will shut down this place. Thanks good luck cause I will take this issue to the max. We were there on a Wednesday night and it was basically empty with the exception of numerous older couples enjoying the country music and dancing without large chaotic crowds. Even though it was empty the staff from the guys checking Id to the bartenders still made it fun. They invited us back for ladies night! The environment itself was EXTREMELY clean and has the country western feel which being in Albuquerque is pretty cool! It's just a fun place to go and let loose enjoy the music and very very inexpensive from cover fees to drinks.

Just went by here to pick up a Passenger since i'm a Lyft driver. I was told by him that it was nice inside and that he found a female inside Dirty Bourbon that he was going to make his wife. He must have been very happy there i ended up getting a 40 dollar tip and i didn't even go any were after he told me his story he said you can drop me off hear i was like i havent even started my car to go any were yet and i didn't even take off any were when he got in my Car. I guess it pays to be drunk but i hope he got home safely Only in Abq i guess

This place is really fun, especially if you like live country music. The dance floor is spacious for all the people that go there on the weekends. If you're a young straight person 21-35, there is quite a lot of single people to meet and dance with. The cover charge is decent for the live music. One of the best night clubs in Albuquerque for the young folk, but certainly older people will find it fun to dance and listen to live music there.

Great place to get some C&W dancing in. I love line dancing and attempting to swing dance but I don't listen to much Country music, don't drive a pick up and don't wear Western clothes so I wondered if I'd feel out of place. No problem - it's a friendly and welcoming crowd and Friday night line dancing lessons are great. The Saturday swing lessons are also good. The place is clean, the drinks are very reasonable and the folks are nice.

I will never go back to this place!! Worst experience ever! My daughter left her review and did not get a response from management, lets see if I will. My daughter reserved the VIP section for our family Thursday April 4th. We were having a bachelor/baccalaureate party. We got there around 8:30 so we could decorate our section. Everyone was having a good time but no one was drunk. My dsughter was on the dance floor and she was wearing some high shoes. She was dancing and the clumsy person she is she tripped on her own foot and fell. The security guy thought she was drunk and kicked her out. Even after explaining to him what happened he told her that our entire party had to leave. She paid 100 dollars for that VIP area and they just kicked her out like she was trash!! I will tell everyone I know not to visit this establishment! They are rude and very unprofessional! My daughter and her fiance's party was ruined and they will never get that moment back!!

Was so excited that a band, Harry Luge, prayed and said the Pledge of Allegiance before playing for the evening only to come back the next night and discover they were asked NOT to do that. What's up with that? Harry Luge's pray wasn't offensive in any way. And their music was wonderful and from the heart. We come 1-2 nights a week to dance as a Christian married couple, are we not welcome as well?

This a great place to dance and listen to some really good live music. Staff are always friendly, dance floor is really nice. I don't mind the cover charge it is still a bargain for all the fun I have there.

Really lame clientele and bad staff. Went here on a Friday night and the staff checked our ID before we were allowed inside and right after we bought drinks and they checked our IDs again; which I feel is very redundant. If you are a local try a different bar because this place feels like a tourist trap. Another thing I disliked was my gal pal and I were dancing a little bit before we hit the actual dancefloor and one of the staff told us to stop dancing unless it was on the dancefloor. Will not be returning.

Arguably the most popular bar in Albuquerque! The country western vibe coupled with generously poured drinks make this establishment the perfect place to learn line dancing! Friday night is fire here so make sure you bring the heat and get ready to boot scoot and boogie. Banda, the bartender, is by far the most attentive and fun bartender I have encountered on my trip to ABQ.

Good place to dance to some live country music. Large dance floor with 2 separate bars on either side. 2 pool tables and 1 shuffle board. Can get extremely crowded with little to no room to actually dance at times.

Terrible venue. Extremely Overpriced drinks, the atmosphere is not inviting. Went there to see a friends' band perform, at the end of their set they cut the power to their equipment and didnt even give them the opportunity to thank everyone for coming out. The in my opinion was extremely unprofessional! They then called last call at 11:53pm and started hurtling us like cattle to the front door! Gave us less then 7 minutes to finish our not worth the price drinks. If I could give no stars I would! This was my first and last time I will ever step foot inside Dirty bourbon!
