At the present this business gets a score of 4.1 stars over 5 and that score is based on 521 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an reviews average is quite high, and it is based on a very high number of opinions, so we can conclude that the valuation is very faithful. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Night Club corresponds to the category of Bar.
My friend and I came here Saturday night (8/02/19) and it was fire (great). The cover was $10, but I left my ID and we had to go home to get it and come back. Instead of charging me $15 when we got back, the bouncer was reasonable and only charged us $10 because he remembered us. The place was a little empty (the main floor, the room to the side), but the DJ was on point. We actually liked that it was not crowded because it allowed us room to dance. The DJ kept coming with music after music, we couldn't stop dancing. That was the best night I've ever had in Boston. She agrees also (she was visiting). She told me the drinks were not expensive, maybe $6 for henny mixed (and they don't skimp on the alcohol).
#happyhour #nightout #flatbread #pizza Very good
Great music, but four stars because of drinks price and they tend to let more people in to the point you cannot move
Great environment
They will throw all the food away right in front of you at 150am knowing there is full line of customers waiting. Instead of closing the doors and finish serving those that is already inside...bad business practice
At the door you're gonna think, "That's a dive bar." And you're not totally wrong. But the food is really good (honestly), staff are cool, cocktails and beer list are solid.
A completely average bar, serving completely average food, for completely average people. Prices are reasonable.
Night life is great, music poppin' and fairly strong drinks.
Good food during the day but a great place to see techno on the right night in a town without many options. Upstairs plays popular tunes on weekends for the less musically inclined.
For lunch: a solid sit-down lunch spot you can bring your coworker, client, or interviewee. Good service, decent food. For night: hit or miss, sometimes strange crowds, sometimes no crowds, sometimes a great time downtown.
Thoroughly fine after work bar, though not inspiring
A nice place to hang out after work in the evenings
Cool spot, got caught up chatting with my homes, so no pics. But I had a kale salad with salmon that was extremely good. The kale had some sort of shredded carrot and almond and other spice concoction throughout that made me have shark eyes, bout peed myself. Buddy had cuban that looked yum-OOO too Great service to boot.
Love this place to hang out with friends, have some beers and eat delicious nachos.
Food is just okay, but a nice bar.
I was having a great time, reminded me of college, until a bartender decided to be extremely rude after asking her a question, due to apparently giving no tip. Tips are not required, should be earned and to me it wasn't deserved. It does not give anyone the right to have to treat you disrespectfully. I questioned her attitude and all she did was laugh and say "do you want to get kicked out". That's exactly what happened after we just purchased our drinks. Never again attending!
Great food. Convenient location in Boston's financial district. Can be loud when crowded. Fun spot to be.
Wednesday trivia is fun. Good bar to hang with your friends
Good food, excellent wine selection, friendly staff
Idc
Great casual pub
Everyone is always dancing, Great music, double floors have different styles. Drinks are a lil overpriced.
One of the best sidecar drinks around and a great downtown vibe
Great for lunch! Surprisingly large portions for a great price. Nice pescatarian and vegetarian options.
Expensive drink and draft prices
Great and fun spot with amazing food and cool atmosphere!
I go to Good Life pretty often since it's close to my place. This is my go to place because of the great music and variety of parties. If you're a person that likes to dance and hate corny cliche top40 and hearing the same song 5 times like the radio then you'll like this place. As many people have said it is laid back and unpretentious (for Boston). Anyways, always have a good time here.
AMAZING food during the evening, but the nightlife crowd isn't my thing.
Solid showcase of music and people. Visited on Saturday 11/24 and the DJ was played some good 90s hip hop. Transitions could have been a bit more fluid. Good time.
Healthy quality food, fast friendly and good
Good cocktails, decent pub grub, solid service.
Kind of ghetto has a disco ball in dining room dance floor.... It's a hip hop club at night that only appears busy because they leave people in line for an hour. Drinks r ok. Music is ok. Downstairs lounge section is more wild w hardcore speakers. It tends to have older people there drunk and trying to dance. SMALL. It is not a good life. Wasnt worth a picture.
Very cosy, great food. I went for lunch and got the Tuna Melt. The sandwich was probably the best one I've ever had! It was big enough for the perfect lunch portion, and was only $14.
The name said all. Friendly staffs, quick service and good time. I was there on Friday evening around 9:30ish is not super busy
Great music!
Had a good time. Clean and price wise not bad
Very fun place to go dancing. I've been hearing about Pico Picante for a while and I'm glad I was able to go! There's two different dance floors that play different genres and three separate bars so you don't have to wait too long! Every time I've gone there's a cover.
Legendary DJ Francois K, live tonight AND LIVE he was!
Great music and scene!
Enjoyed the DJ's especially my son @bstnfredd
Good place to go for a couple of beers after work, but not for a night out...
Nice place to have a beer
Dancing Dancing.. all night long.
Best of Boston tbh , non pretentious fun , hip hop etc
This is another one if my favorite spots. Great food and the best staff! I have never had to wait for service or a my food / drink. Really neat place with lots of cool stuff in the walls.
Fun bar/restaurant with decent food
Awful establishment - horrible staff. Bouncers are a joke who hate their lives. So many better places to go I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND WASTING YOUR TIME HERE. Go Elsewhere and you will thank me later!
Good crowd slightly pricey
The steak tips are great. Always busy for Happy hour. And definitely check out the rotating art covering the walls!
Good burger!
I ordered their taco bowl salad and it wasn't the best on their menu. It was too dry and no dressing. The bbq chicken salad is really good.
Chill bar. Experience was over par.
Funny bartender. Pretty normal place compared to other downtown spots.
Great place to meet friends for drinks after work.
They play great music and it’s a great place to go dancing or just hanging
Like a nice theater but the entrance was way to hard to find. It's the "tufts center"
Vert nice break fast and nice people !
Service was quick and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the Mexican bowl.
Had such a great time last night. It wasn't too crowded. The drinks and the music was on point.
Very poor service. We went to this establishment on 10 July 2019 around 4pm. We were the only people sitting at the bar. The first bartender quickly made us a drink, which was a watered down old fashioned. They then had shift change while we looked at the menu. Which we told the first bartender we wanted food and another drink soon. The oncoming bartender (female) never came over to introduce herself or check on us. She took her time to do something on the computer, then chatted with another employee for at least 10 minutes or longer, we could see her look over at us but never say anything. She then proceed to browse her phone, then went to the other side of the bar and chatted some more with that same coworker, laughing and being loud, all while we were ready to order food and another drink. However, we ended up leaving. The bar was nice and clean, but a very disrespectful bartender who just got on shift. I recommend walking another block to bars with better service.
Had some fun times here. Great spot.
Love the options of two floors, strong drinks downstairs are always a plus. Decent door charge and parking nearby.
Went with coworkers for after work drinks. I guess we picked the wrong night as the place (both floors) was crowded and noise level outrageous. Drinks were good, not great. Some of the food we had ordered didn't make it to us for some reason, which the server quickly resolved when we brought it up to her. The friendly staff helped prevent this review from being 2 stars.
It's lit depending on the night. Great venue space though
Had the fish tacos and my wife ordered the nachos. Fish tacos were delicious, and there were so many nachos that event after I helped more than half the plate was left. Great drinks and friendly staff made this a night to remember.
good crowd.
House downstairs. Hiphop upstairs. It's perfect
You will love this place. The staff are great and the music is awesome.
Although the breakfast has only a few choices they are large, delicious, coffee was hott, and the bartender Erica was excellent. Five stars and they have breakfast to go!
Good dark bar near South Station. Great beer selection, chicken nachos. Good for groups
Decent spot for a few drinks after work
Great food, cool staff, interesting events fully l weekly
Great place. Solid staff. Well priced food that's great tasting and is served rather swiftly. They have a Tuesday game night which is absolutely awesome!
Nice place to hang out with friends
Probably one of my favorite places to grab a beer downtown. The menu is better than most places nearby and priced reasonably, too. All the staff are friendly. Great place.
Okay vibes. It was slightly overcrowded and hard to even dance.
Very top end, but at a top end price.
Great service and food. Very enjoyable.
Fun spot to come to on a Thursday night for me.
Great spot to pop in for lunch, dinner, drinks, etc! During the day it was filled with people having lunch and enjoying each other’s company, which is always nice. The wings were delicious, the Mac and cheese was simple but tasty, and the short rib sandwich was a nice flavor. The tuna poke bowl was really delicious. Not the traditional poke bowl, but really filling yet light none the less. Drinks are definitely on the stronger side, and cocktails are $12. Service was great, attentive without being overwhelming. Overall, a good spot to stop in for a bite and some good company!
Jus love it. The food is great. Good time ;)
Goes by the name itself. Had really good experience being there. Good food, good people around, great location.
If you want to know if your having a good life stop in
I visited here with coworkers for drinks after work. The servers were attentive, the food and drink wasn't bad. They mixed a solid old fashioned. I followed that up with one of the drinks off their menu which was uninspiring. It might be a good idea to stick to the classics if you order cocktails here.
Great electronic shows sporadically on Saturdays.
There's a $15 cover after midnight (?) Which, obviously, is not worth it. Upstairs has an all right amount of space, but the downstairs venue is dark, crowded and has very lame "VIP" tables. Staff was friendly.
Good menu, reasonably priced drinks, and they put up with us geeks doing a Magic draft most /every Tuesday.
Was horrible! I don’t recommend this place to anyone...Especially minorities they don’t welcome us there they treat us like trash...a bartender said that he was being harassed because he didn’t receive a tip..mind you he wasn’t responsive …
Awesome space, okay menu.
Tuesday’s in the basement is game night. Nintendo 64, PlayStation, Wii, Magic The Gathering, Boardgames, + more. No cover, 18+ and 21+ to drink Friday and Saturday are poppin’ $20 cover. Usually a line. You can dress causal, sneakers and so on but who’s going to dance with you lookin’ like a normy.
Great drinks, bar food, and games
Seems like a nice place I visited during work hours doing a business check.
Nice
Pretty packed and full..
Fish and chips are good, but service was not very good. I would come back again.
Nice place to hangout after office
Good food and service. Classic after work spot for people working in the Downtown Crossing area. They do a fun quiz night on Wednesdays.
5 stars but can the ladies get another toilet ik y'all know what I mean
Good dancing, tiny downstairs club.
Definitely not worth the cover charge. Drinks weren't too bad, and definitely weren't weak. The upstairs dance floor isn't too bad - good lighting, decent acoustics, crowded but never claustrophobic. Downstairs is pretty much the opposite - crowded, damp, lack of any real ventilation. I'd avoid it, at least on the weekends.
Hands down one of the best places to hand out in Boston downtown.
Wandered in once while exploring Boston at night, and I was pleasantly surprised. It's deceptively large, with a distinct old-timey bar feeling. To the left of the entrance is another part that looks to be a small dancefloor. But most of the action is below, in the Vodka Lounge. On a normal weekend night, the ground floor is not very packed, so going down, you will not be ready for the number of people downstairs (Would have made a great speak easy back in the day). Servers are very attentive and polite, drinks are not too expensive for Boston, and overall, it's a pretty great time, with different DJs playing different music in the different sections.
$15 cover charge on Saturday night is a little much but they had good music and dancing
Drinks were good. Vibe was great until 1 am came around. Crowd got a little too wild. Two fights broke out while I was there with my friends. Some Staff was quick to defuse the situation. 1 male in particular, got too physical with one of the people in the fight and didn't show signs of stopping. A couple co-workers stepped in to make sure nothing escalated. I would return despite what I witnessed from an employee.
The music selection makes up for the narrow two floor space. Came here two weekends ago to see Softest Hard spin and she was great. The other DJs I've seen here have been pretty good too but can't recall any names. Good spot if you want to get away from the basics DJs normally play. Should definitely get Softest Hard to come back!
Food is ok. Beer selection is poor. Can get very crowded and noisy.
Good food, comfortable atmosphere for after work drinks
