Waited way too long for food. Ordered two beers that I never got because the first one wasn't available; didn't know until I asked after my food came. Then the second one just never came. Both ended up on the bill. Only one was taken off - that was my fault for not double checking the second bill. The food was good, but service killed it.

Friendly staff... very accommodating. A mix up was made on the meal... a manager came out and was more than apologetic, dinner was wonderful! Staff could have been a tad more knowledgeable about the tourist attractions....

Casual dining. We sat at the bar and received excellent service. The bartender was attentive and engaging. Food came out fast and was cooked perfectly. My burger was great and co-workers wings were good and plentiful. Overall a good place to casual dinner.

This is my first time to Vermont. I walked in and asked for the local beer because I hadn't seen the taps yet. Barry shortly tells me, "They're all local." Only one beer they have is made in state, the one they make themselves. Shock top is made in colorado. Your only job is to know drinks and be nice and you didn't do either. Food was good.

My 1st time eating at this restaurant. I had the Royal Sirloin cooked Medium Well with coleslaw and broccoli. The sirloin came out just as I ordered it. The taste of the steak was average, 5 out of 10. The broccoli was cooked perfect and tasted good, 9 of 10. The coleslaw was good too. I ordered Pepsi and never received a refill. My friend that I was eating with received 2 additional refills. I also ordered the Towering Midnight Fudge Cake for dessert which was awesome. As for the look of the restaurant, it is cozy with booths and chairs with plenty of room to spread out. I would try them again however they don't have any restaurants near my home.

You know, it's tough to beat 99 on a lot of fronts. Sure. The food is basic american fare, but it's quite good compared to other big chains and the prices are beyond fair. You can actually feed a family here and have a good time without missing your rent payment. $10 fish tacos are killer.

This restaurant was absolutely wonderful the inside was so beautiful the service was so amazing and very professional everyone was so polite and enjoyable I would recommend this restaurant to any and all my friends and family the atmosphere was so comfortable and friendly, all in all it was it was just absolutely an adorable and awesome restaurant I wish that there was one in Florida my husband Edroy and I would eat there all the time!!!! We were on vacation in Vermont visiting my daughter Megan Cole she works there as well and we had such a good time there I wish we could have ate there everyday it was that good. Thank you 99 Restaurant for a wonderful, enjoyable, beautiful, pleasant time!!!!!!

Disappointed. Ordered food to go. Ordered XL chicken tenders golden fever. Went to eat my last chicken and found a hair in it. A long hair. Strong enough to hold the chicken tender. I feel sick now. Knowing we ate chicken that was around this hair follicle. Will be sending the video to them.

We are visiting from out of town and came across this place. The food was DELICIOUS and the staff was so friendly. We enjoyed everything we had. My girls had popcorn and ice cream which they enjoyed too!!!! Def would give it more stars

Food was ok.. Be sure to be clear that if your child gets a complimentary meal because the Red Sox win they use the kids menu only.. Twenty bucks later that was clarified despite being told she could order from either menu when seated.

As a vegan and someone with several allergies, I didn’t think I’d have any options here beyond a modified house salad...but last night I came in with some co-workers and our server Megan was amazing! I told her about my restrictions and she happily told me she would have her manager come out and work with me on building a dish I could eat. The manager was fantastic and suggested modifying the watermelon blueberry salad. Not only was this suggestion perfect (And delicious) but he only charged me for the cost of the house salad which is incredible considering with my restrictions I almost always have to modify dishes when I eat out and always get charged the the same or more for a meal even after removing ingredients. Both of them checked in on me to make sure I was enjoying my meal, wonderful service! The best part was that unlike many establishments in the past, they didn’t make me feel uncomfortable about my restrictions or judged for my lifestyle. They were happy to work with me and saw it was a challenge to be creative. This is how everyone should be treated and I will definitely be eating here again!!

Exit 3 location Vermont. Where too begin !!! Took over a 35 minutes to get seated. Was not crowded at all. Everyone at table ordered water for drinks waitress came back and took food order. After 30 minutes my mother stopped our waitress too inquire about the food order and waitress replied " If it was ready I would have it out " This is flat out rude !!!! After finally getting the food waitress disappeared for the rest of the meal never stopping at the table at all to ask about food or do we need a refill of water. Food was cold. Actually drank my wifes water too finish lunch. Waited another 10 minutes and finally walked up front to main counter and hostess was like party of two ?? No I just want to pay bill and leave. She went and got the waitress who then said we had to be at the table to check out. Well I would if you ever stopped !!! Gave her the money right away and her reply was I need to get change. My bill was $48.79. Waitress came back and said here is your change $51.00 . Now the school I went too taught math and respect to others. Manager was busy in the back and didnt have time to wait or yet keep them from getting the food out that sat on the counter. Would not recommend this place at all and after eating here before is a step down for sure !!!

99 Restaurant is a decent chain of restaurants, and bars. Specialized to the local sports teams, a 99 Restaurant can really fit in, in any town. In terms of quality of food for a big chain, it is about on par with Chili's. Decent food, decent price. A good night out restaurant. They always have meal and drink specials that keep meals around $10 for a meal or $3 for a drink, so it is affordable too.

With all the great resturants in Brattleboro, I would not suggest eating here. We checked it out because we have kids and it seemed like a kid friendly place. The food was nasty guys. Even for my low standards, it was gross. The kids wouldn't even eat their food. You can tell nothing was made from scratch. So for a family of 5 to eat here it was over $60 with a tip. You can go to Whetstone in downtown for that and get way better food. How this place stays busy is beyond my comprehension

We had a wonderful meal at the 99 Restaurant in Brattleboro tonight. Nolan, Nikki, Joe, John, myself and our 2 service dogs were treated like royalty. Of course Nolan just turned 3 months old and who doesn't love babies and dogs? LOL We had an exceptional waitress and a great time.

I have gone to this 99 for a number of years and it has usually been good. A few glitches here and there but overall good. This is the deal breaker for me. 18.00+ Dollars for a lobster roll with virtually NO LOBSTER on it. Oh, there was plenty of this lettuce liking stuff but VIRTUALLY NO LOBSTER. What, 3 maybe 4 small pieces. Yes, really. I have no axe to grind with 99 but I am not ever returning again. This was yesterday BTW, 99 if you read this, see if you kitchen staff decided to eat what me and others in my party paid for and did not receive thru portion control.

This was our first time at a 99 and its easy to see that they enjoyed the dessert and their meal. I enjoyed the bill. We were able to get food food at a good price. We walked away full and felt that not only were the portions adequate, but the server was great and the atmosphere was just right. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

This eatery has a similar atmosphere to your standard Applebees/Fridays/Chili's, including a full bar and several "signature" drinks, but the food is MANY steps above what one would find at a typical chain restaurant. This particular location prides itself on using fresh, local ingredients for their dishes, and it shows. I personally recommend the prime rib that they do on Friday and Saturdays (only), but get there early, as they have been known to run out of it before the night is through. The fish and chips is also excellent...never greasy and the tartar sauce is house-made (as are many other items on their menu). I have never had a bad meal here. Only complaint I have is the lack of tables and chairs. I'm a big guy and the booths there are a bit snug for your standard XXL dude. They have a few high top tables by the bar, and one half-booth with a chair, but the rest of the seating is all booths, and they're a bit tight (I can fit well into booths at other establishments...these just happen to be a bit smaller). Tl;dr: yummy/fresh/well-prepared stuff. Go here. Eat well.

As far as a sit down place goes, this one is just all right. I tend to go here just for the appetizers or take out as my entree's never seem to hit the spot. Recently, my fiance's steak tips were far from cooked right (ordered medium, arrived still Mooing), And my burger was I overcooked (ordered medium). Sure, they took care of the tips, and I simply accepted my burger as is, but I'd like to receive entrées as ordered... I'll stick to appetizers!

In..credible!!!We showed up, no call ahead, placed to go orders...taken immediately by staff...who recommended since Bruins on, why not sit at bar to wait for order...got a Steel Ale Rail w popcorn...before we were half done w beer, he arrived with order, explaining sauce for my pork chop and salads in different containers for my beloved and me..thanks , and great service at bar!!!

Service is usually very good but meals seem to depend on the chef of the day. Most meals have been very good, but one visit recently we ordered two of their best burgers and they were both raw and we left them, paid and left. We also noticed employees would block the inside doors open but handicap customers had to fend for themselves with the HEAVY outside doors, why?
