Great view of the strip and definitely will repeat. Food and drinks are pricey but worth it. Mandarinita was really good. Sushi (cool bbq) was visually stunning and taste could be improved, it comes with Nitrogen gas effect. Even enjoyed the snack nuts comes with the drinks.

A great view and an accommodating floor manager and hostess are the only things this place has going for it. The service is terrible, the wait for drinks was long, and when they finally came around the drinks were not as flavourful as the menu made it seem. The view is spectacular, there probably isn't a bar with a better view in Vegas. We arrived early and we sat in the waiting area which was a little more lit up and quieter than the actual SkyBar. The hostess was super helpful when we were being seated, asking if we needed help carrying any of our items. After being sat the waitress introduced herself as Mariana. She gave us our napkins and left us to explore the menu. Two friends in our party just got engaged so they decided to make a call to their parents and let them know the good news. She came around to ask if we were ready to order and we said we would wait. About 15 minutes passed and our waitress and her friend were chatting at the POS station right beside our table. They either did not see or chose to ignore our friends coming back and made us wait until they were finished talking which was an extra 5 minutes or so, then she finally took our order. We ordered one drink each and someone ordered edamame and hors d'oeuvres to share. We probably waited around 20 minutes for anything to arrive and the first were the drinks. One of the drinks was advertised to be secured in a coconut but we noticed it came in a glass, when we asked the waitress said with a bit of attitude that its only if you request it (she didn't tell us that when we ordered). A mocktail that we ordered FROM the menu was so sour it tasted as if someone poured straight lime juice into a cup and called it a day. We asked to nix or fix this drink and the waitress gave us more attitude. At this point, the edamame had still not arrived. It's been more than 20 minutes for some shell-on beans so we decided to cancel it. We weren't getting served nor were we getting any food. We tell her to cancel the edamame, she says okay. A minute later, she comes back to the us it's canceled but the beans are already made so they have to throw it out. A completely unnecessary and snarky way of informing us while making us feel bad. If the beans were made then why didn't we get them at our table? We asked for the bill/check and it was almost perfect. We were happy to pay for the drinks we tasted, but we noticed there was a service charge. Now, we understand that a party of 7 sometimes constitutes a mandatory service charge but we felt this was unjust since we didn't really get any service. The waits were long, the waitress was unfriendly and unhelpful, and the drinks were not even tasty. So we complained to a floor manager and he was extremely understanding and set our bill straight, removing the service charge. He came back with two glasses of sparkling wine and an Italian dessert from the restaurant across the floor. His professionalism is what redeemed our experience here. On our way out the floor manager and the hostess were apologetic about our unfortunate experience while none of the waitresses even tried to apologize. Maybe that's not their job or position to do, but it would have been nice to see an attempt.

Top notch high end bar with a great view of the strip. Came in after a show on the strip and had the best view window seat on the strip. Cocktails are pricey, but highly innovative and in the end we thought were worth the cost. Found a $40 bottle of wine (nice wine) as well so there are cheaper options. In the end the liquor bill was worth it just for the view and service not to mention the great drinks. Recommended.

I'm torn. The cocktails are competent, and expensive. The view is unparallelled. The cocktails are prepared in the back room, and there's nothing "friendly" about the place.You arrive and go through a gauntlet to get a seat. You know that you are almost the kind of person who should be here, but not quite the right kind of person. Everything runs like a swiss timepiece, except that a swiss timepiece doesn't a good bar make. Hong Kong, and much of SE Asia, knows better than anywhere else in the world about hospitality. Nobody can manage the differences between East and West and meld it into a great experience better. Somehow, it just doesn't quite work as it does at their place in Hong Kong. Still, it's an experience.

A very posh experience in Vegas' #1 hotel. Just go here to take in the view! It's the best view of the strip hands down. Our server AParilla was very professional and helped us choose some delicious drinks. I had the Brilliant Old Fashioned (made with tequila) and my wife had the highly recommended Golden Leaf (made with gin). High priced drinks but expected in such a high end setting.

Wow! This place is absolutely fantastic. Yes the drinks are on the expensive side, but well worth the view and the ambiance that comes with them. Let’s start with the lobby. You walk in and it smells like you’ve just stepped into a flower garden. Then you take the elevator ride up to the bar level. There is a velvet bench in the elevator just in case walking the Strip has wore you out. When you step off the elevator your are greeted by an incredible view of the strip. Every seat in the bar area is beautiful; peaceful is the right word. If you want a table right but the window, I recommend making reservations. The staff is incredibly friendly. The drinks are top notch and considering where you are and the quality of your cocktail, the price is spot on. We tried the Golden Leaf (which comes with edible gold flakes on top!) and the Cliffhanger. I recommend both! Sit back, relax and enjoy one of the best cocktails with a view of the Strip!

Great atmosphere; reasonable prices. Had a great evening with a group of friends but when the evening ended we all paid..... my companions paid with credit cards and I paid with cash. Our waitress returned and dropped off the credit cards along with receipts; however, I did not receive the change that I was owed. A 20% gratuity was already added into the final bill and the "change" which the waitress did not return was nearly 50% of my tab. After waiting for approximately 15 minutes thinking that maybe she was still planning to return with my change I finally decided to leave with the group to avoid making a scene. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Appetizers are the only food option but the Kobe Beef Sliders were amazing.

The view here is amazing! Definitely worth coming here just for that. We decided to come here for pre-dinner drinks since the restaurant wasn't open. Upon entering we were greeted by the hostess (shorter, brown hair) and she was super cold. She did smile, she didn't even say welcome, I'm almost sure she didn't even look at us, because as 5 of us were standing in front of her, she ask if we had 4 in our party. She just asked us for our last name that was pretty much it. For being such a high end upscale hotel, with a beautiful view, it ruined the experience. We knew she knew how to smile because talking to her coworker she smiled. Our waitress was really nice. We had the crafty Moscow and berry Bellini. The crafty Moscow was super good. The ginger was strong which I loved, but I can see if you don't like ginger, you wouldn't like it. My friend had the berry Bellini didn't like it. Cocktails were $18. For the view and the crafty Moscow I would give it 4 stars, but the hostess killed it.

The first thing you notice is the casual elegance. After travelling at “warp speed” to the 23rd floor of Mandarin Oriental at City Center, one exits to a sexy corridor high in the sky. A gentle turn to the right walks one into Mandarin Bar – note the unassuming entrance. However, upon entry taken aback would be the correct phrasing for the spectacular view of the Vegas skyline. Mandarin Bar Entering you can’t help but notice the bar, surrounded on three sides by floor to ceiling windows. It is impressive how, in such a rather open space, Mandarin is able to maintain discreet seating arrangements allowing privacy and comfort. I often visit after a long day at the office and recommend the Silver Whistle. It is an amazing concoction and my drink of choice cruising in as the sun sets. What is a Silver Whistle? It is Stolichnaya, Lillet Rouge, fresh watermelon, Italian Maresca cherries, silver dust served tall over ice with Champagne. Different yes. Delicious yes. The crowd is a mix of professionals and well heeled travelers and the view is beautiful, shall we say, inside and out. Décor is sultry and dark and the staff is of the friendly, yet distant variety – maintaining privacy and comfort. The culinary fare is not expansive but does not disappoint. If you seek a hide-a-way of sorts while maintaining elegance, Mandarin Bar is the place. Be sure to look for me near the West windows as it is my hidden jewel.

The view is really nice day or night almost wrapped around window adorned this bar lounge. This is were you bring your friends or business partner to if you want to be big shot. Employees at front counter to random maintenance people will point you right direction should you get lost in transition trying to find them. Front gate to Skybar is heavy and solid wouldn't recommend ladies to try if they've new nails done. Let the front host (Patrick) assist you it weigh a ton. Located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the strip, this place is gorgeous, classy, and is a very cool place to visit if you're looking for a relaxing place where you can just sit down and have a conversation with friend or a date. During my visit, my friend and I opted to sit at the bar. The gentlemen who was working behind the bar was as super friendly and made delicious drinks that really packed a punch. My first drink was a 'French 75' and he actually asked what kind of gin that I wanted. ALL the places I'd been to never asked me this - not once! He recommended that I tried it with Hendrick's cucumber gin for a little spin of the French 75 and since I'd never tried the cucumber French 75 (although I'd tried truffle French 75), I agreed, and I have to say it was very refreshing. For my second drink, he recommended their version of whiskey sour - The Sinatra. Delicious! Subtle taste of whiskey along with some citrus-y flavor with dried pineapple and cherry on top. The kind of drink that you could sip all night long. But be careful, this drink, too, packed a punch. I'd like to think that I could handle my liquor well. I only had the two drinks and I was feeling good. However, as time went on, I could feel that I was getting more buzzed. These drinks gave me the 'gotcha!' moment. I don't know how he made them, but he made them good. In comparison, later that night I had about five Crown on the rocks and I didn't even get as buzzed as I did from the two drinks. So there's that. Prices were pretty high for MY standard. But hey, I live in Houston, TX where prices are a lot lower than Vegas. For example: I usually pay around $7.50 or $8 for a Crown Royal. Here, if I remember the menu correctly, that same drink would have cost me $16. Cocktails are priced from $18 and up. I'm pretty sure the prices are on par with other swanky bars on the strip but a lot higher than what I'm used to. Another awesome thing that happened while I was here: members of 'Walk The Moon' band came in to do a short interview. Our bartender said that during the eight years he'd been there (he had been working at the bar while the hotel was still called Mandarin Oriental), he'd seen his share of celebrities walked through the door. Pretty cool. Super awesome bartender who makes deliciously strong drinks? Check. Swanky place? Check. Celebrity run-in? Check. Definitely wouldn't mind going back.

A very high end bar but worth the money. This not the place to go if you are trying to get drunk because the drinks are a little bit on the expensive side. They have a very limited appetizer menu. From what I was told that menu changes from time to time. I did order the bbq steak sliders and they were phenomenal!. I ordered there signature drink that comes with gold shavings on top of it. It was well worth the $18.00 per drink. The view and ambiance of the bar was breathtaking!.The service was great. It was nice to find a quiet bar in Las Vegas with a view. Whenever I go back to vegas I will be visiting this bar again.

A really high end bar located on the top floors of the hotel. The view is just amazing. Probably one of the best views you can get of the night views on Vegas. Being that it's a higher end bar, the drinks are on the pricey side, but they are def worth. They can cater to your drink and all their different types of drink selections is well made.

There is a gorgeous view of Las Vegas from the Mandarin Bar at Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas! The ambiance is superb, service is amazing, and a great selection! Prices are what you expect from the Strip, so I can't complain about that. What impressed me most about the Mandarin Bar is that they are the only place we found that would allow us to take tripods! Some places wouldn't even allow us with cameras. They were very hospitable and relaxed, unlike other places.
