Y'all have a really bad rude DJ for the people that want to sing. I was one of those people that did some singing and he was really rude and said some bad stuff. I will never visit here no more I will not deal with rude with people or Dj period. So if u cant handle your DJ I will no longer will visit this bar anymore. i am visiting from Oklahoma so if your DJ is going to be like this I will never visit ever again and will make sure my friends will never visit y'all. Because of the bad experience I had with your Dj.

For my first weekend in Las Vegas as an adult, I wanted to sample the different gay bars Vegas has to offer. Although FreeZone showed average stars, I decided to go since there were several within walking distance of each other. Surprisingly, this place was really awesome! The super friendly staff have me a warm greetings upon arrival and I truly felt welcome. They drinks were reasonably priced and the crowd was really friendly. The only complaint was the music. They never really played any new music! Other than that, I'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great Saturday night guys!

Free Zone is a fun gay bar that features great drink specials, food, and drag shows. The night I went they had a drag show going on. You can sit at the bar and gamble. The bar itself is fairly large with room to dance or hang out. They have a large parking lot outside. I would come here first to get good prices on drinks, then go to Piranha if you really want to, or just stay at Free Zone.

Good people, came to see Jerry because of all the reviews, he wasn't there. Came MLK weekend and that Sunday was slow and the jukebox music was speratic with a limited selection. 4 stars because all the people were friendly, not 5 because of the music.

I was there the other night and the bartender Jerry I think his name was. He made me feel very uncomfortable, with the things he was talking about. I feel he shouldn't work there, he was unbelievably rude and made myself and the people I was there with very uncomfortable and that's not right AT ALL. I love this place. I’ve been coming here for years but just came back this week for the first time in a while. The remodel is going great. The owners, P.J. and Russ, are great guys. They’ve been here forever and they make you feel as welcome as when Kay was running the joint. Alissa, my bartender this time, was so much fun and so very nice. I just like going to a place where people will be nice and I know what to expect. This place is still great and that makes me happy.

I've been going here for years, but my most recent visit reminded me how much I like this place. Unlike other gay clubs or bars in Vegas, Free Zone is the complete opposite of the pretentious crowd. They are extremely friendly, laid back, diverse and lots of fun! It has a true "family" feel. The bartender, Joey, was hilarious and tons of fun to talk to. Adrien, the body shots guy is drop dead gorgeous and treats each one of his customers like they are the only person in the entire bar. Drinks are also the most affordable you'll find among any of the gay places in Vegas.

So it's my first time at this club/bar and I was not told to keep my cup after a drink. And this low budget girl tells me I can not have another cup for two rules that I was not aware of from the start. My thing is money is no issue clearly but if I was not told something how can I be at fault and she aspected for me to pay again. Who can't afford a plastic cup and tips. Clearly the struggle is real for these employees or at least that's how it comes off to be.... This is just a heads up for everyone else. Keep your cheap cup.

I travel to Las Vegas around four times a year and this place is always a good place to have a few drinks. The dancefloor has a cage in the middle which is great for fun pics. They say your first drink is always free... but we never asked. On the other hand, this place has beer bust EVERY DAY from 8pm to 2am ---- unlimited beer for only $10 or $15. We had the unlimited well drink special for $15. It was awesome. We always say we will go somewhere else, but end up dancing and drinking here. Anyways, stop by for fun and leave with a buzz.

The bouncer on Friday night with a pony tail needs to learn his out of state IDs. Traveled from AZ to specifically come here and he had no clue how to recognize an authentic AZ license. This bar should utilize a scanner and stay up with the technology so you don't turn away people visiting from out of town. Glad we took our business elsewhere.

Drag show was great, but the staff ethics make me question this bar. I showed up pretty wasted with some friends and was offered body shots. I was down, but only had a twenty dollar bill. Instead of offering to get change, or taking my "no", the server convinced me to buy a shot for myself, my friend, and herself. I feel pretty taken advantage of; I really was not sober enough to comprehend what was going on. It was embarrassingly obvious that our group was gone. I'm feeling certain that it wasn't even ethical to serve us alcohol. Maybe I've been pampered by the more ethical bars back home in Wisconsin, but my experience was generally disappointing.

My experience was horrible I was looking to start a night there to bring back diversity of Las Vegas and I got a text from the Owener Russ who has never met me but called me ghetto a thief and said he was going to slander my name all across Las Vegas LGBT COMMUNITY on the strength of the fact that he said someone I knew stole money and it turned out to be a lie. Then once it was all done and over with Russ never apologized only to say that he was sorry that I was a thief in which I had no idea what he was talking about. He referred to me as ghetto without never meeting me only knowing my name, slandered me and said that he was going to have everyone in Vegas not do business with me bc if someone else that had nothing to do with me.. I had heard rumors about the racist things it’s really sad.

I paid for a liquor bust 15 bucks, the bartender gave me a small plastic disposable cup which I threw away in the trash after I drank it. I wanted another drink and he told me I needed to bring the same cup back or he wouldn't give another drink. I ask then why do you stamp my hand if that stamp doesn't make any sense. He wanted me to go in the trash to get the same cup. I finally ended up paying 7 dollars more to get another drink on top of paying for the liquor bust. Just ridiculous and a lack of hygiene to say the least.
