Great spot! The atmosphere is amazing. The crowd is very diverse: all different ages, body types etc. The drinks are priced reasonably, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The washrooms are clean. We were there for a drag show, and gurl do those queens engage the audience. Every single one of the queens slayed it! Would definitely go back!

Great show intermixed with dancing on Sunday night, the only place to be. Wed night is underwear night with free drinks. Always enjoyable watching and also dancing In your fancy briefs and the go go boys wearing very brief brief's.. lately the ladies are stripping down which is nice to have gay/lesbian action on the dance floor. This is the kind of place your mother warned you about. Pure Vegas.

This place is not even close to be country. The 2 Jamesons I got taste watered down. The staff spent the 2.5 hrs I was there asking for donations to some charity. Not at all what it was advertised as. However, if you like drag, bingo, mixed well drinks, and an older crowd.... this is your place

We don't normally go to a "country" bar but Fridays are FUN! Drinks are genoerous and cheap served by by hunky bartenders (Matt is a hottie) with good current DJ's. There is a drag show and it is GREAT. NOT like you tgink but real talent and free giveaways too... if you like it enough to run to the dance floor and get it. Cute guys both locals and visitors. Really, if you are in town for a night or you live here it is a kewl place to spend a couple hours. It begins to get bisy around 10.

It was good expect. My finger started bleeding bc of a chair and there wasn't any soap in the mens bathroom. I wanted to wash my hands and I could not even ask someone to refill that. Unsanitary.

I used to always make Charlie's a must visit on my frequent business trips to Vegas. It used to be this no-frills but amazing country western bar with a little bit of everything from locals to tourists to old timers with names like 'Gus'. Now, it seems to have turned into a low-end drag queen performance venue where a conversation can't even be had over the lip-syncing and a 20-something crowd dominates.. That is absolutely fine. Change is the only constant - especially in Vegas - however, I don't think I will venture back to Charlie's anytime soon. Maybe they should change their name to "Charlene's" and lose the country western bar branding...

Beware of parking across the street from Charlie's at the Arville shopping center. Charlie's staff will call the towing company and have your car impounded costing you $300 to release your vehicle. Charlie's has reach a new low making a cut from each customer they report and tow!

I don’t appreciate Charlie’s having banners saying free meet and greed when they are charging to meet aquaria. please be more accurate on your propaganda, security guys treat people like trash. I honestly was really happy until the meet and greet. Charlie’s is a company and for that they should be grateful to their customers, I hope management takes care of this issue, Vegas laws do not allow to treat people like this. False advertisement is prohibited in Vegas, we are a minority and for that we should have respect each other.

I ordered Apple hard cider. They charged me $5.50 per bottle. Thats without cover cost. The cover cost was 10 buck. That drink costs 1.75. The air ventilation was poor. The a/c was weak. Don't go there Ripoff.

Great environment people are nice and fun staff are friendly. They have great drink specials , entertainment every night of the week. I just read that someone don't like the fact they have a woman's and men's restroom. I should start to try and use the women's room in places I go and say you heard about equal rights I should be able to use whatever restroom I want.

Went there for the first time from Seattle on their regular Monday karaoke night. I got there around 1:45 am, got a drink, and asked the hostess to add a song (I went towards the back of the stage not to get in the way of the performer, but that part of it was blocked off and off access.) She said she was done for the night, told me it was blocked off for a reason, and said no. That wasn't so bad, as karaoke ends at 2:00 and fair is fair. That said, she let other people sing/sign up after me, and only had one more singer lined up, so I felt a little unwelcome. I was the only Asian guy, which may or may not have factored into her decision. Bartenders were really chill and friendly though, so I decided to add a star to this 1 star review. Planning not to go back and will check out The Pheonix instead. Hopefully they'll be different and will treat all their customers fairly and equally.

I'm holding my 1st Event in Las Vegas for single Gay Men Seeking LTR and called this place to see if we could have a t-dance there for 50+ Gay men. After several emails & calls to contact Jeff (manager I think), it's like they couldn't even be bothered with finding out what I was calling for? So I took my business elsewhere and I would suggest that anyone in the Gay Community do the same!

I use to go to Charlies Years ago but now the music sucks. and half the dancers must be straight because they dont know how to dance for gay men. No wonder they dont get the tips they use to get. I have not been to Charlies in Months and neither have my friends. Like most of the Gay bars in Vegas they have all become Tourist Bars and cater to the Tourists. Unlike The Garage who know how to treat locals and keep them coming back for more.

Great bar where I had a wonderful time. Great bartender, did what I like. There are promotions you can get a free cocktail or private room for an hour. To do this, register on 909gay,com to create a profile and show it to the administrator. It was very nice and fun.

Kinda OK. Charlie's gets going very late so if you have a day job you'll miss weekday night theme events that all start at 10 PM. Bartenders get the job for their looks not their skills, if you order anything other than beer or vodka & Red Bull they'll be baffled. Speaking of beer, the draft lines are poorly maintained so you'll get gassy, foamy beer that tastes old. Absolutely no guests come in Country/Western garb and you'll never hear Country/Western music. The doorman told me the bar is only Western themed because the owner likes it, not the guests. Patrons are mostly mainstream white gay men in their 20's and 30's but you'll see a few middle-aged guys, Hispanics, and blacks. But don;t expect to meet anyone new, the guys tend to stick with the small groups that they came n with. No gays bars in Vegas are particularly good so I'm giving Charlie's 3 stars instead of 2 just because the bar been set so low.
