It's no Vegas night club but the bottle service is reasonable. A little on the casual side which is fine for me. It was hotter than hell in there one night.

My friend and I were getting drinks on the second level bar. The first time we got drink immediately, but when we were done with our first round the girl bartender picked up our glasses and didn't ask us if we needed anything. After that we waited 20 mins while everyone else was served before us. I had to speak up and ask for a drink and she was rude about it. And clearly didn't like us for some reason even though we didn't do anything. Otherwise the service at the EVE was a great experience. We had a lot of fun up there!

I'm sick of the rude employees who Greg Gilmore allows to work at his "big old building" and their awful policies. I've been coming here for years and keep swearing it off, but somehow I hope it will be less terrible and go back. It is always worse! Besides letting someone in who had just puked outside, the BOB wouldn't let us up to Eve even though we were on the guest list because they said my husband had on "jogging pants." Jogging pants? Really? This isn't East Grand Rapids. My husband had on candy cane suit pants. You can even see the pleating in the photo! (He also had a black santa sweater on, what a coincidence!) I didn't even have pants on. I had on basically a bathing suit and a tutu, and somehow I fit their "dress code"? This isn't a Vegas nightclub, people. It's the only crappy nightclub left open in Grand Rapids! You're not fooling anyone with your "exclusivity." Everyone knows they closed the Crush nightclub downstairs to get rid of black patrons, but they've also been disparaging me who has been a customer for a decade!

I could DJ better than any DJ at Eve off my 1990s windows pc stereo. The fact they actually book these guys is beyond me. Terrible transitions and moderate trends in music. Please improve your music if you're going to charge a 5 dollar cover

Every time we come here we come to go to Eve. We ask if there is another cover to get in and they say "I don't know" we end up paying $5 a person ever time we just to leave again. Every time I come here I get more and more disappointed with it. It's almost impossible to get into Eve anymore. I would appreciate it if I was told you have to pay AGAIN to get into Eve. And then have to wait in line to hopefully to get a stamp to get up there. Which is very unlikely. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They always scam you to get your money. Pay to get in a bar then pay to get in another bar inside the bar. This place sucks.

Worst experience!!! Don’t recommend at all, me and my friends will not be going back! I wish there was a 0 star because that’s what I would rate this place. My friend ordered some shots for us and as She was paying the bartender told her to make sure She left tip (very rudely) I thought it was crazy she was telling, not even asking but telling us to make sure we left tip. Since she was so rude about it my friend walked away after paying and the bartender threw ice at her, we were all so surprised and in disbelief that a bartender had just thrown ice at my friend. I told her she was being rude and she started yelling at me and she went and got security to kick us out and made it seem as if we were the ones starting problems. So unprofessional and rude don’t waste your time going here.

A group of us thought we would check it out since we just moved here and were looking to dance. One of my friends was wearing a nice button up, dressy shoes, and khaki shorts. He wasn’t allowed in because his shorts were a little above the knee. I would understand except a large group of girls wearing ripped jean shorts that were extremely revealing slid through with no issues. A guy wearing a baggy t-shirt, jogger sweats, and tennis shoes also made it through with no issues. Interesting...

Eve is a cool place. I have probably got bottle service here over a dozen times. There aren't too many clubs in GR so this is the best it gets. The bar can take a while to get drinks at time. Ppl can tend to be pretty hostile even if you brushed shoulders as you walk by. I usually see a fight break out every couple of times each time I go. Bouncers do a good jobs of breaking it up asap.

I like this place a lot, been going for years. Mainly wanted to do this review to point out that the multiple people referencing that Eve plays "techno" have no idea what they are talking about. There are hardly ANY venues in Grand Rapids that exclusively play techno, and those that do only do it on occasion. FYI - techno is a distinct form of electronic dance music (EDM) pioneered and created by Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, and Juan Atkins in the Detroit area in the 1980s that has evolved over time to be one of the dominant genres of modern EDM. That being said, Eve doesn't play techno. Do they play dance music that sometimes falls into the category of EDM? Sure. But it's not techno. Know the facts folks, it helps.

My waitress/ bartender was absolutely HORRIBLE. The people next to me didn’t pay there tab and as I went to go pay for it she attacked me and threw the drink my fiancé and I ordered. We tried to do her a favor and she was completely disrespectful. I’ve never experienced such horrible and disrespectful service in my entire life. I will never go back to such a place. Clearly the people working here don’t know how to handle themselves. I would much rather hang out at the tavern or a house party before stepping foot in a place like this.

Once you get to Eve, the service is not the best. I definitely recommend getting a drink on the second floor (way more friendly!). An overcrowded, small space but it was still a great time.

Eve nightclub looks absolutely nothing like the photos on this page that were added by the owner but the times that I've been have been great and fun! It is a huge crowd of mainly young people filled in a giant nightclub. There are sections you can pay to sit at. All the drinks I've had have been fantastic here! And they play great music but they generally play mixes and then skip to the next song before the mix is done.

Visited Eve for the first time last night amd probably will not be going back. Not quite sure what was going on but the bouncers were litterally pushing people out of the way trying to get to whatever situation they needed to deal with. I understand the need for these guys to get to a situation quickly and deal with it but you dont push your customers, especially the customers who arent involved in whatever situation is going on. Then I had some other douchebag that wasn't dressed like security come running by and tell me to get the fuck out of his way. When I left after that the cops were headed in. Not the kind of place or people I want to hang out at/with. From the reviews it seems this kind of drama happens a lot at this place.

Saturday night. Free for women, $5 cover for guys Mostly early -mid 20s crowd. PROS -Semi-large space -Cool interior -Friendly crowd for the most part CONS -Typical awful techno music. People that were dancing looked like zombies. They were not even into it. How about some Hip Hop music. The crowd really woke up when a Cardi B song was played. We have no Hip Hop in Grand Rapids. -BROKEN GLASS ALL OVER THE DANCEFLOOR. I told the bouncer and he said "there will be more broken glass as the night goes on. We'll make our cleaning rounds later." While I was there, they did not clean up. And one woman fell near me cuz of the broken glass and spilled liquids. -ventilation was not great. It got hot and muggy fairly quickly. This nightclub is just plain boring and disgusting compared to... most nightclubs.

One of the must stop at night clubs to visit. Its definitely an amazing experience. If you are use to the big city type of club or want to experience one this is the club to visit. Must take elevator to gain access, Awesome balcony walk way to the club. Nice VIP like seating spots. Gets very busy and packed but a must if you love to mingle and talk, music, drinks.

It was meh. The food was good. But it was kept up on during the wedding we went to. The appetizer table would run out and the staff was short, so they couldn't fill it fast enough... being from the food industry and having catered many weddings, it was poor management. There was only one bar tender for the wedding, and she was great... but she could only pour so many drinks so fast and wash glasses. It would have been better if they at least have her a bar back or another bartender. The elevator thing is annoying. Too many people and the system for allowing people up and down for wedding parties is dumb. Wedding parties should have a different colored band so they don't have to wait in that stupid ass long line for the stamp. The DJ was great once the club opened for the public from our private party.

The reason why I gave it a 1 was because they really need to do something about the A/C in this place. I started sweating once I walked in. It took me awhile to realize that the girl wearing a sports bra with leggings and suspenders worked there. Once I realized she worked at EVE it made sense to why she was wearing a sports bra. Hell I wish I was wearing a sports bra too. If I wanted to go to a sauna I would have went to one. I am just gald I wasn't wasted like some people cuz that would have just made things ten times worse.

the dress code is that ripped jeans for guys are not allowed but if you have shorts that leave your ass hangin, it's perfect fine. No matter if you are a guy, girl or however you identify yourself, because the more of the intimate parts of your body you have out, the better...so the guests of EVE can objectify you and drool over you because apparently that's what that place is for. When you fix your dress code, you can be turned away because of your "attitude". On top of that, at least you should stick to your dress code, because the jeans that I was wearing tonight I did wear at eve before. Rude staff, customer service equal to none, consistency with rules terrible as well and gender bias is on top of its game.

I was strangled without reason by a security guard while trying to help someone from getting trampled. The gaurd suffocated me and dragged me by my neck all the way into the elevator. I now have bad neck pains and am heading to the hospital. I struggle to breathe and have severe neck bruising. The bob refused to answer my calls and I am about to take legal action. I suggest you don't attend this club. Things like this happen all the time at Eve. They have no respect or understanding.
