This is my favorite spot in Boston by far. From the owner to the bartenders and security, my experience here was great. The Band is my fav in the city. Crowd is 25-mid 40s. Food is awesome.

Although initially seemed like a club more than a restaurant at first, food and cocktails were SO good. Had chicken tenders ith jerk sauce and bbq, then braised short ribs. All was so delicious

I would give this place a zero but it wouldn't allow me to comment without a star, THEY SUCK. they say they're over capacity yet allow "certain" people then they tell you you HAVE TO check your coat no matter what (I was wearing a jean jacket) and then the bar tender skipped over me even tho I was standing at the bar the longest and yet everyone else got served and when I said something he told me because of my attitude I wasn't getting served. I suggest you go elsewhere

Randomly picked this place for my 4 year anniversary. Didn't know it was a nightclub/restaurant. Food was amazing. Drinks were amazing. Could use a decor make over and they seemed to be having some sort of party right next to us in the corner with a table of 10+ and they were talking loudly so that was the only downside. Music had me jamming. I would defiantly come back.

I was very disappointed that they did not have NO: Jack Daniels, Coconut Ciroq, or Moscato wine, and the food was dry and had NO flavor at all. The place is really nice and and elegant and the staff was great. But they alchol was limited and so was the food, we asked for buffalo wings they don't serve it the cook definitely can't cook southern food. . They reall need someone in there who knows how to work the kitchen cuz our wings were burnt and the food itself was not that great...

It could have been a good club to hang out on weekends unfortunately it is a hit or miss. They ridiculously jacked up the cover. Its proximity to the highway makes it a bit convenient but there are better choices out there. If you like African music, their Friday afro nights might be of interests.

The restaurant took our reservation online. When we arrived by uber, the place was closed. There was a man in the restaurant doing some work. It was on a weds nite. Very disappointed about the lack of communication to the public about the restaurant not being availabe.

Savvor on its own has a nice vibe and good food. Now the nighttime activities are a different thing. Typical black thing. Rude bouncers acting like they doing you a favor. The girls at coat check are the same, rude and entitled , mini Gods. On to the bar, I’ve had my card over charged twice now ... that’s when the “machine is working”.. I’ve been told “it’s not working” a few times. The guy that seems to run the night thing is so unfriendly, always frowning, you can’t even complain to him - if you’re classy and grown, don’t go to savvor. If you don’t mind and just want to have FUN and a huge semi-ratchet crowd, sagging jeans, weed smell every here and there, savvor is your spot.

poor service. made reservations some time ago for my birthday with some friends for a girl's night out. the staff were not welcoming (and they couldn't care less either) and basically wanted to rush us out the door the moment we were all seated. i didn't want to waste my time here as it was like we were on a curfew and would not be able to unwind and relax--made a last minute reservation at The Beehive instead and had a MUCH BETTER experience. I haven't been back to this place and don't ever plan to return.

We went to the club on a Friday night. We paid $15 each to get in but this the 1st club I've been to where there are no seats until you are vip. The drinks are overpriced but good. The music was wack. The DJ played a few good new stuff but changed the songs within 30 sec and interrupted a lot of songs to say random stuff. Most of his stuff was songs that were old or that we didn't know.

First night out in awhile and i had so much fun. Drinks were good and the music had me on the dance floor all night. If i could change one thing it would be the trifling drunk women who wait for me to leave my man to slide in and the dirty bathroom. Bathroom was spotless but before the end of the it was unusable. There should be someone in there making sure the ladies act ladies. Lol!

Came in here with my roommate for dinner on a tuesday night after we got a travel zoo voucher for a set meal. When we walked in, the place was pretty empty, only 3 other tables and we were quickly seated and brought menu's. The options were very limited for vegetarians and when I ordered the only vegetarian entree on the menu I was told they were out. I asked if they could do any other pasta and was told it wouldn't be a problem. We waited close to 45 minutes before our appetizers came out and then another 30+ before entree's came out! For being empty it didn't make sense it took so long. The food that I got had no pasta and was basically some vegetables in a cream cause. The waiter disappeared as soon as the food came and I couldn't get his attention for the rest of the meal. When he finally stopped by I asked about the pasta and he said he could get rice or something and then just sorta walked away. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had in town.

Unfortunately, I had a VERY bad experience at the Savvor restaurant. I was super excited to throw a private birthday dinner for a close friend. The staff there lacks good communication skills on so many levels!!!! First, I made a reservation for Saturday, but somehow they booked it for Friday night. My party arrive on Saturday at 8pm as scheduled and they were not prepared for. They said they would make accommodations so they prepared a private dinner section for us. We were ok with that UNTIL a different group came after us and asked for the private section and the owner gave it away on the spot! I was in disbelief with the entire situation. Also, we asked for a pre-fixed menu because it was a large party and since they thought we were coming Friday as oppose to Saturday they dishonored the pre-fixed menu as previously agreed upon. I was so disappointed with their service and I will by far never throw a party there again and most likely will not eat there period.

I went there on a Friday night for the club. This establishment club part is a joke. They force you to give up your jacket even when you are cold. They allow you to have your jacket if you arrive before 9pm before the club start or if you are a promoter. My sister told me it was a nice place to go and invited me to go with her that day. But we left early because they didn't allow her to keep her jacket. She was really cold. This man didn't show no careness in the world and he said he was the manager. If anything he could at least told her once she gets warm to go back and give him the jacket but no. I think rules should apply to everyone and not to certain people or have consideration to someone who is really cold. The reason to give up your coat he said is incase it get stolen and not for weapons. We tried to reason with him but it didn't help. We was three females for one coat. No sympathy. Also you have to $5 for the coat. He so called himself a manager. Ha. We all left and went somewhere else. It could have been a great night but ended up differently. My advice is relax on the coat issue. Some people may have a condition that they stay cold or maybe just cold because of what they have on. And not even from Massachusetts like me. I pay attention to everything. And woman bathroom smells and wasn't at all clean to be so uptight about a coat. Three stalls and sits had urine on them. One out three stalls wasn't flush. People are gross. Flush your stuff. Nasty.

The food was blah, it lacked flavor. We ordered gumbo, chicken and waffles and the salmon. It was all unimpressive and we didn’t finish it. The gumbo had no spice, the chicken had an off taste and the salmon was broiled bare and didn’t have even salt or pepper. Drinks were decent. We came at 8pm and were the only ones there. According to our server most people come for lounge hours after 10:30pm.

The Chicken and Waffles are simply the best meal I've ever eaten. Of you haven't tried a chicken and Waffles before then it surely sounds bizarre, but there is no better place to try it than here. For the less adventurous, the mac'n'cheese is wonderful, as is the jambalaya. Every meal starts out with cornbread and honeybutter, which are a wonderful touch and completely delicious. For those that enjoy cocktails be sure not to miss the Sazerac and the Machine Gun Preacher.
