Best outdoor ranges anywhere, action range, standard pistol and rifle ranges, indoor pistol, trap, skeet, member's lounge, good people all around.

The Maynard Rod and Gun Club is an awesome place to enjoy the shooting sports, learn the shooting sports, and meet some fun people. The club has 2 skeet fields, 2 trap fields, outdoor rifle and pistol ranges, indoor rifle and pistol ranges, archery, trout fishing, a bar, pool tables, darts, game supers, great special functions, and a cool hall you can rent out too. I like to shoot with the skeet and trap group. We meet every Sunday for a few rounds of skeet followed by breakfast cooked and served right on the skeet field. Thursday nights there is Trap league. Halloween the zombie shoot is awesome. After it all you head into the bar for a beer and to watch the game. Best part of all the members are very inviting and willing to teach anyone how to safely handle all firearms. I have been a member for three years and love the place. Come down and check it out. If you shoot skeet come down to the skeet fields at 10AM on a Sunday and say hi. We are usually there till 1pm and we are in the process of putting in a 5 stand!
