The best part was the DJ and the appearance from a local Baltimore rapper, in order to have a place to sit u had to purchase a VIP table which started at 450$!!! While sitting at the bar they came and told us to get up so they could remove the chairs just to try to make u wanna buy a table...I will not be returning to this club!!

Friday night fun!! Had the place to myself for a while and enjoyed every bit of it! Good music! Good wings! Happy hour specials! Great bartenders!!! They even got the hookah for you! Laid back atmosphere with plenty room for a turn up. I will be back!

It's a ok place to go to on a Saturday music is ok I just wish they play Baltimore club music I like to dance and get down other than that the place is nice but it's just the music I don't like hearing rap and r&b all the time I just wish they just mix it up.

Definitely not my kind of night life, parking is the worst there isn't any safe parking spots around. The entrance fee (cover charge)is ridiculous, it's the price you would pay to see someone perform at a concert this entrance fee includes nothing but entrance no merchandise not even a free soda.

Save your money, they charge 20 dollars as the cover fee. Pros nice building on the inside. Con's music is way to loud DJ sucks. He keeps interrupting the songs with a loud blow horn. The VIP section is empty so they should let people sit there. Its design like a upper class lounge but it attracts the ghetto black people not the classy black people. Its on the empty side that can be a pro for some.

Had a fun night out for my friend's birthday. The sections are pretty spacious and comfortable. Didn't really like the fact that they were smoking because it stuck to my clothes and hair and the bathroom closed at 12pm...that was not convient at all.

nice location for the mature crowd!! I've been over the years and never disappointed. drinks are reasonable, good music, hookah, and I think I smelled flower. after going other places I will definately be back to Select as my 1st choice for Bmore nightlife

Has a policy if you leave out you cannot go back in at all. Had purchased bottle service for a friend's birthday and needed to step outside to take an important call and bouncer informed me that i could not return. I will never return.

Very overpriced drinks and 35 for hookah that ended up being a “vape hookah” and not coal. I went for the Clermont twins guest appearance and they came 30 minutes before close. Before then, everyone just stood around not dancing and looking at each other. I was going to get a booth which was considered “vip” but it was 500 dollars, and the event was only open for 4 hours which means I would have been paying more than 100 dollars an hour to stand around fake bougie people and drink harsh cheap vodka. A security guard also grabbed my arm really hard and threatened to kick me out for dancing near him and accidentally bumping him on the dance floor. That was when I realized this was not the lounge for me. Save your money and go somewhere fun!

Place sucks, on saturday guy at the front tried to charge us extra then changed his mind. Went in nobody there we were thinking maybe its early. Waited till 1 still no people. Yeah not worth it at all.

Extremely disappointed! This will use starts before we even got to the club. Called ahead to get some info and the person on the phone answered as if it was their personal cell phone it seemed annoyed when I asked was the Select Lounge,than i asked him a question he answered then when i went to ask another he hang up mid-sentence. I call back to finished now he's more annoying sounding. Reserve a table on a Friday night. The place was a Ghost Town. The DJ was amazing, so i couldn't figure out why. Its the service. Although we should have had a server I had to keep going back and forth to the bar to get water for the individuals in the party. My friends are Caribbean and tend to dance in a more Caribbean fashion. The security guards were completely culturally intolerant. He did come over twice to tell them to stop ( although they were all the only people dancing in the entire Club) the second time, although I was in at the issue the security guard begin to yell in my face and point his finger so close I could feel it. I ask for manager to give me the head of security instead oh, I know this because the person who we came to celebrate used to work there.... when the head of security said something to the security guard he still was yelling and pointing his finger in my face through his manager, I was not outright or disrespectful or cursing at any point in time but the security guard did all.

Definitely doesn't look like the pictures shown when you google it. My boyfriend and a few friends went here for his birthday and it was a horrible experience. The person who collected our money to get in at the front kept telling us we'd benefit from buying the table and a bottle but we decided not to. We got in and it was about ten people on a Saturday night. Everyone was on their phones just sitting around bored, not one person dancing. We decided to leave after 10 minutes, my one friend did ask before we went in if it was busy or at least we're there a good amount of people inside and of course they wouldn't answer. Upon leaving he said we'll you could've just answered that it wasn't busy bc this is a birthday celebration...the girl who collected our money replied "still got ya 120$" that was extremely unprofessional and really was unnecessary. The place is so small also, I don't recommend going here at all.

Only for sitting. Floor is not for dancing. Lady at the bar gave my friends hookah to another group then told her she had to get it from them. Had to get a manager after telling her she was wrong and owed her the hookah. The manager fixed it. This place looks okay in the dark but crappy when the lights come up. Probably won't go back unless someone else pays for it. It's a cover charge and it's not worth it

STAY AWAY! This place was absolutely horrible!! First off we were told it opened up at 9:00 it didn't open until 10pm. Then we were told that we could get a hooka to get a table instead of the required $60 bottle. We said cool because basically that's less money we have to put out. Then later the waitress comes back and says that we have to move because these tables are reserved for wine bottle purchases. I then said but you told us we could get the hooka instead. She said this is what her manager told her. So I nicely went to the manager and explained him to what happened he said ok, we'll take back the hooka and you can get the bottle. Ok great! NOT.... 20 minutes later Alex the owner said that we had to get the hooka and the $60 bottle which came up to $96!! Not counting my three friends paid $20 to get in(when they were told it would be $10 when they called). Also the normal drinks were over priced. The place wasn't even that nice big burn holes in the couch. If my friends didn't pay that much money we would've left. Also the music was good at the beginning a mixture of old school and new. Towards the end it was for the young kids. If your over 25 this is not the place for you. Oh and for some reason the bathroom doors stay open each time I closed it when I came back it was open. That is weird. I can't believe how much this place sucked!

This spot is nice and clean tucked away in a nice part of Baltimore City. It is a great place for the mature crowd to party and socialize. They have the best hookah in the city and their valet parking prices are reasonable. They give drink specials all the time. Check out their website for upcoming events or to prepay for your entry or table. Select Lounge is one of my favorite spots in Baltimore!
