The Flask is a bar that you always feel welcome at, no matter the night and no matter the music. It is basically the only bar left in town where the population of pretentious humans don't exist and ladies don't get molested on the dance floor. If you want to flirt with any of the bartenders then I suggest going before 10:30

Flask lounge was the worse bar I've ever been to. No music and not anyone in the place. Not a good be spot for out of towners.

Drinks are nicely priced, very queer friendly space. A little small, and seating can be sparse if there's an event or it's late on a weekend. Bartenders are all very nice.

Pretty epic music when they have an event. Lots of local musicians play here, their beers are kinda cheap. I haven't tried any of their food, but it seemed like their oven might've been leaking gas anyways.

Been there a couple times with friends went there with my daughter last week good house music on Saturday nights sometimes a little too techno better to have a Soulful deep house I come up from Philadelphia at least twice a month to me and this is the place I stopped I am basically a Manor owner home up here since 1979 still a good small club to go dance at love it . Some of the best underground music and themed parties. Beer selection changes slightly but there's always something on the menu that hits the spot. Bartenders are amazing, and the locals are welcoming. Overall its a good atmosphere and always a fun time.

It wasn't bad, but just not my type of crowd or music. I am more of a country fan. The bar is okay. It took a while for the bartender to take my order. They do have live music, but again, not my type of music. I recommend people that like alternative, indian pop, or techno. at least that is what i think

I like flask. I support Flask. I've come here for years. Sometimes nights are great, sometimes nights are not so great. Service is usually always on point (minus a couple people.) It can get a bit crowded and stuffy and sometimes people get stupid and/or aggressive and/or upset with you accidently touching them- existing in a very tiny space, but sometimes nights sync well and you can have lotsa fun. Very dancey and sometimes cool lights. Sometimes bad djs. A lot of free nights. Mostly strong drinks. Open to all people. No homophobes aloud. Wish it was a little more gay. Please try and keep it a safe space. Thank you Flask.

Glass can be great there's some nights that are very good like when it's karaoke unless that's your thing but some nights can be truly awesome sometimes DJ show up unexpectedly the drinks are kind of expensive

Sexy lighting, fairly priced drinks, lots of Hotties that frequent the bar. It's fun here and the owner is gorgeous along with the bar tenders. It's actually poppin on weekends, it's one of the only places left that has an actual dance floor that people are actually dancing on. It's a fun time 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Good atmosphere. Lots of diverse events, check out their page (Facebook & website) to see what's up before going. They have fantastic dance nights, and live music, as well as hosting monthly special groups. They don't label themselves as a "gay" bar but are very LGBTQ+ friendly and work hard to maintain a safe space for everyone. The crowd is eclectic, lots of townies but welcoming to new people and tourists. Drinks are cheap compared to the Old Port, and well made. I would 10/10 recommend weekly karaoke on Thursdays!

Three stars for my experience. It was a Sunday so don't take this to heart. Live DJ was cool and the people seemed cool. The drink we ordered was way too strong on the bad side. Not a good place if you want to hold a conversation. Music is too loud but if you're into that then check it out.

Flask Is the epicenter of the Portland underground dance scene. Love nights with selector Jaime OSullivan on first Fridays and Foundation with DJ Dereloid the friday after are my go to nights but there are lots of great music nights and other special live events that draw crowds here. Yes it is small but that also means it actually feels hot, steamy, and busy when it is cold outside and you just want to lose yourself in a crowd for a bit. Friendly bartenders and a very decent sound system. Five thumbs up!
